Botan Hood
Author's Notes: Well one night I was thinking to myself I really need to do a Botan and Kurama fic. Then I was talking to Nanashi and I asked him to name me a Fairy Tale with Romance so he did but I decided to use the one he suggested for a Hiei/Panthera fic. Well anywho then for some reason Robin Hood poped into my mind and being the person I am decided to go out on a limb and instead of having the "hero" be a guy I decided it should be a heroine instead. So Botan is Botan Hood and Kurama is Lord Kurama. There will be other couples on the side but the story is mainly around the romance relationship between Kurama adn Botan. Everyone else is in there somehow. By the way everyone will be normal human beings no Demons or anything like that.

A richly decorated carriage passed undernegth her watchful purple gaze. She leaped gracefully from tree limb to tree limb, keeping pace with the carriage. Her dark forest green tunic clung to her curves and allowed her to move freely. The dark brown sash secured a dagger to her waist. Strapped to the woman's back was a quiver and in her hand was her bow. Ready to let an arrow fly at the slightest sight of trobule.
The bow and arrow where her favorite weapon to use. She found them much lighter and easier to handle then the other weapons though she was good at useing them all. She waited until they came to a fork in the road and landed gracefully with her brown booted feet on the carriage's roof.
The driver of the carriage looked at her and she waved happily her long light blue hair up in a ponytail. He smiled and waved back before turning back to the road. A few minutes later almost has if he suddenly realized something he turned back around only to recieve a punch in the eye. That was all he remebered before falling into darkness and hitting the forest floor. With a smile of triumph the girl climbed onto the driver's seat and lead the carriage down the left road and into what was hoped to be an ambush.
A few miles down the road Shreiff Touya most have finally realized that he was no longer on the right road.
"Driver what the hell do you think you are doing?!" he demanded. "Pull over at once!"
He heard delighted laughter and the carriage pick up speed. He immediately recognized the laughter has belonging to Botan Hood.
"Botan Hood stop this carriage at once!" he shouted.
All at once the carriage came to an aburt halt that sent him sprawling into the seats across from him. He jumped out and was at once surronded by a net. Then the delighted laughter of women caught his attention looking up he saw three women on the top of his carriage including Botan Hood, there was another woman driving the carriage.
"The people of Sherwood thank you for your donation shrieff!" Botan Hood shouted waving her hand.
Then the carriage rode out of site and the laughter of the women rode drifted away becoming nothing more then laughter in his head. He growled and slammed his fist on the ground. After awhile his anger cooled down and he saw the driver of the carriage come toward him. The man had a black eye curtisy of Botan Hood.
"Shrieff what are you going to do about Botan Hood?" asked the man.
"I will report back to Prince Karasu and dicuss this with him. Come lead the way if we are lucky we will find a village that we can get a horse from."
"Yes Shrieff."
With that the two men started off towards the nearest village. Meanwhile Botan and the three other women had arrived at their camp and were greete by the other women of the group (A/N: No yaio/yuri here guys).
"Well Botan should we see what exactly we got here?" asked one of the girls' while jumping off the carriage.
The girl who had spoken had long white hair and silver eyes. She had a gentle spirit but was good at fighting with a sword which explained the sword that was at her hip almost all the time. Though her main talent was using plants to heal people. She along with Yukina were the healers of the group. Though recently they had discovered another use for plants aside from eating them and using them to help heal people.
"Sure thing Panth why not gather the other girls around so we can get this out to the people?" suggested Botan happily. "Hey some of you girls! Help me with this will you? Cat go help Panth with gathering the girls."
Panth and Cat ran about the camp collecting the various other girls while the others began to unload the money from the Carriage. After awhile the women were surronding a pile of gold and treasure. Botan had earlier waved a group of scouts away to look for any other carriages coming this way, Cat and Panth had been among them.
"Well girls," said Botan. "How are we going to divde this all amognst the people of Sherwood?"
The girls exchanged looks and began to discuss how best to divide the richest amongst the poor people of Sherwood.

M eanwhile Cat caught site of an eleborately decorated carriage. She did a bird call to her sister Panth awhile down the dirt road. The girl signaled to two other women and the three of them prepared to ambush the carriage has it road toward them. The driver was a middle aged man that was loosing his hair unlike the Shrieff's driver who had been a male that had the looks of a woman. Then Cat leapt from tree top to tree top back to the camp to tell the others.
'I wonder who owns the carriage,' thought Panth crouching down for leverage to jump onto the carriage.
Hiei, Kuram, Kuwabara, and Yuusuke all sat comfortably in the carriage. They were heading toward Sherwood just returning from the crusades. Hiei's arm left arm was in a sling it had been wounded by an arrow and the doctors at the field had said it would be a miracle if he could use the arm again. He massaged it under his leather tunic it was starting to hurt again.
The others had been sent back since the crusades were over with unfortunately there was word that King Koenma had been taken. At that moment the king's elite soliders were trying to figure out where he had been taken to. If they needed help they would call on the soilder next in rank and the four young men were included in that rank.
But for now they were enjoying the ride in the carriage that Kurama's family had sent to pick them up in at the ship port.
"Well Kurama now that we have returned do you plan on hunting down this childhood sweetheart of yours?" teased Yuusuke.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," said Kurama looking away.
"Right Kurama we believe you right guys," Yuusuke continued teasing.
"Idiots," muttered Hiei looking out the window and catching a glimpse of a figure jumping among the tree tops. "What on Earth?!"
"Something wrong Hiei?" asked Kurama from beside him.
"I thought I saw something jumping among the trees," muttered Hiei.
"I think you have been on the battle field too long or something Hiei," said Kuwabara. "I mean no one lives in the woods."
At that moment the four of them heard three extremely soft thuds. They glanced up at the same time and exchanged a look has the carriage came to a stop. Hiei and Yuusuke stepped outside while Kurama and Kuwabara began to climb the top of the carriage. The only thing they noticed was that the driver was gone from site.

Cat raced through the tree tops until she saw Botan in a river bathing. She landed gracefully on the bank and brushed her black bangs out of her cool golden eyes.
"We have another carriage Botan," she said calmly.
"Have you captured it yet?"
"Not while I was leaving the area I came to tell you because the carriage looks has if it belongs to some very rich people."
"Oh really how interesting," said Botan standing up and putting her clothes back on, then grabbing her weapons and putting them on her body. "Well then come let us see what we can do about this carriage."
"Right," said Cat.
The two of them took to the trees and hurried to join their companions at the carriage.

" What on Earth?" asked Kurama. "There is no one here."
"Well you are half right good sir," said a female voice from the trees.
"But you are also half wrong," said another female voice.
"No one can be half right and half wrong about something like that!" shouted Hiei in irratation.
"Are you sure?" asked the first voice.
"Of course I am now who are you?!"
"Well with that attitude I really do not think I should tell you," said the first voice from behind him.
The men whirled around and saw a woman around Hiei's height with white hair and silver eyes. She wore a brown tunic with a light yellow sash that held the sword shift and a sword at her side. She pulled the sword out and aimed it in their direction.
'She is beautiful,' thought Hiei in shock unable to keep his eyes off of her.
Meanwhile Panth was having simmilar thoughts about Hiei. She couldn't help but stare at him.
'The man with the flame black hair and red eyes is really good looking,' she thought fighting back a blush.
"Nice try lady," said Yuusuke with a grin. "But do you really think you can beat all of us at once by yourself?"
"Well it would be a good bet I would last longer then you think but who ever said I was alone?"
At those words three women dropped from the trees and kicked Kurama and Kuwabara off the carriage. Two of them laughed and swung into the carriage the two men looked up at the other woman in shock.
"See," said the white haired girl. "I always come prepared bye now."
That said she leapt onto the back of the carriage and grinned. Two other women jumped onto the carraige and grinned. One had short black hair and gold while the other had long light blue hair and light purple eyes. The girl with the black hair leapt into the driver's seat and grabbed the reins.
"The people of Sherwood thank you for your contrabution gentlemen," said the woman with the light blue hair.
"Botan is that you?" asked Kurama.
"What the hell Kurama is that you?!" whispered Botan lunging off the carriage into the man's arms.
"It's good to see you again!" laughed Kurama. "Who are your friends?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing. Girls come show our guests some hospitality!"
The other women around them visiably relaxed and smiled at the men. The girls in the carriage climbed out and gathered around them.
"Come with us to our camp and I will explain everything," said Botan.
"Fine we could use some rest," said Kurama. "We would be glad to accompany you and your friends."
"Good get on the carriage and we will take you to our camp."
After everyone was situated Cat took the group deep into the woods.

Princ e Karasu smiled and lounged about has some women from his harem feed him various fruits and nuts. The scantily clad women giggled and while running their hands all over him. They nibbled at his skin and caused him to groan with pleasure. He couldn't see how his older brother could possible not have a harem and be loyal to only one woman. I mean what man would only have one wife? Granted his brother had made an excellent choice by choosing Lady Catterina. But still the idea of spending his entire life with one woman was mortifing. He looked up has the doors to his audience chamber opened and saw Shreiff Touya walk into the room.
The man bowed before him in greeting.
"Prince Karasu Botan Hood has once more taken part of your treasurey."
"What?!" shouted Prince Karasu jumping to his feet startling the women.
This was the fifth time this month this had happened. The little bitch had been doing this ever since he had ordered her father murdered for trying to kick him off the throne. Then he had killed her mother when she refused to bed with him.
"Leave us girls," he snapped in irratation.
"Yes you wish your highness," said the girls backing out of the room and shutting the door behind them.
"I should have killed that little amazon along with her father when she was first dragged into here," said Price Karasu.
"My Prince," said Shreiff Touya. "What do you suggest we do?"
"I haven't decided yet though I think we should set a trap for her."
"We do still have her parent's bodies," said Touya.
"Really interesting what would be out best way of getting her attention?"
"We could ask a childhood friend of hers who is on his way back from the crusdaes has we speak."
"Have a messanger waiting for his return that tells him I wish to speak with him."
"Has you wish my Prince."
Then Touya left the room to prepare the messagener

"So your saying that Prince Karasu murdered your parents for their loyalty to King Koenma?" asked Kurama in shock.
They had eaten dinner and the sun was setting behind the trees. The group was warmed by the cool night air by roaring fires that roared up amongst the camp site. Panth had seen to Hiei's arm and it no longer bothered him in fact he was able to move it easier then before. Now the two of them were seating side by side around the camp fire listening to the conversation between Kurama and Botan about what all had happened since they had last seen eachother.
"Yeah he murdered my father first then he murdered my mother for not sleeping with him."
"Wasn't she like too old for him though?"
"You know the women in my family age very well," said Botan.
"Yeah but I didn't realize it was that well."
"Did he give you back the bodies to bury?" asked Yuusuke.
"I do not know what happened to their bodies," said Botan looking away.
"I am sorry," said Kurama placing one of his hands over one of her own.
"You two are making me sick with all your mushness," muttered Hiei.
Laughter rang thourgh out the camp has Botan and Kurama blushed. Panth laughed has well her voice rang in Hiei's ears like music. Yukina was seeing to a wound on Kuwabara that had come open at some point during the dancing that had taken place earlier during the day. Kuwabara couldn't stop himself from grinning down at her and making weird noises in the back of his thoart.
'She is so pretty,' thought Kuwabara.
Yukina stared back at him and smiled happily back at him.
'He seems so sweet,' thought Yukina.
Meanwhile Yuusuke and Keiko had gotten into yet another fight.
"You know those two are going to kill eachother one of these days," said Panth.
"Not unless they end up in bed together first," muttered Hiei unconcussly running his hands up and down Panth's slender leg.
Panth was to busy watching the flames of the fire to notice. Until Botan through a sack at her causing her to fall off of the log she had been sitting on.
"You think you two can go get some water to put out the fires?" asked Botan tossing them some bukets.
"Sure why not," said Panth taking the buckets and leaving the camp with Hiei right behind her.
"You know I think Panth and Hiei would make a great couple," said Kurama.
"Yeah that and Keiko and Yuusuke," said Botan pointing to the couple who at some point had managed to start kissing eachother. "Not to mention Yukina and Kuwabara."
The other couple had fallen asleep in eachother arms.
"But what about us Botan?"
"Yes what about us Kurama?"
"Are going to continue with the plans our parents had arranged for us?"
"Sounds like a plan," said Botan looking at him.
The two kissed eachother for several minutes. Before pulling away from eachother and watching the flames of the fire die down. Somewhere in the back of their minds wondering where Hiei and Panth were.

The morning sun rose behind the trees stirring the people asleep in the camp. Botan awoke wrapped in Kurama's arms and looked around, she nudged Kurama who also woke up.
"I wonder where Hiei and Panth are they don't seem to be back yet," said Kurama.
Suddenly a roar of fury came from one of the tents and Kuwabara ran out of it shouting applogies. After awhile Hiei came out in his leather pants looking like he was about to kill someone namely Kuwabara.
"What happened?" asked Kurama laughing.
"Well Kuwabara walked into the tent," said Panth coming outside wrapped in a sheet.
"I see," said Kurama laughing.
"It's not funny," snarled Hiei playfully shoving Panth back into the tent.
"Hiei don't get too invovled we have to head home today!" shouted Kurama. "I would like to be back home before noon!"
"Damnit!" came Hiei's muffled curse, which was followed by the laughter of Panth.

Kura ma and the others arrived at his mansion on their horses, only to see a man standing outside the mansion.
"I have a message for a man named Kurama!" he said.
"I am Kurama," said Kurama.
"Prince Karasu wishes to speak with you."
"Well when royalty commands ones prescences one must go," said Karuma he leaned in towards his companions. "Go inside and wait for me I will return shortly."
His three companions nodded in agreement. Then Kurama rode toward the palace leaving his friends at his family's land. Upon reaching the palace the messanger lead him into Prince Karasu's audience chamber where his harem was entertaining him. Karasu saw Kurama and waved at him to sit down.
"Would you like your own entertainment?" asked Karasu waving his hands around him at the girls.
"No thank you I would prefer hear what you have to say," said Kurama.
"Well it's about an old friend of yours Botan I would like to know what is her most favorite weapon."
"Weapon?"
"Yes you are aware that your friend likes to fight and use weapons are you not?"
"Yes I was aware of that."
"Well I would like you to know what sort of weapon she is most likely to use."
"She prefers the bow and arrow above all else why do you ask?"
"Because I am interested in seeing how good she is at them. That is all you may go. I will hold a tournement tommorrow morning I am sure she wouldn't miss it for the world."
"Thank you your majesty always a pleausre."
Kurama walked out of the palace got back on his horse and dashed toward his home.
"HIEI! KUWABARA! YUUSUKE! WE HAVE TO WARN THE GIRLS!" he shouted.
In the blink of an eye his fellow knights were on their horses and together they were racing down the woods intent on warning the women they loved.

"An Archery contest huh?" asked Botan standing up.
"Oh hell no Botan you are not going to that contest!"
"Wanna make a bet?" said Botan.
"Please don't go there it's a trap."
"Well then we will just have to prepare for the trap then," said Panth.
"None of you are going and that is finally!" said Kurama. "Now I want you all to promise us that you will not go tomorrow."
"We promise," said the girls crossing their fingers behind their backs.
"Good."
Then the four men left and the women set about forming a plan.

The next day was bright and sunny (A/N yippie skippie) everyone had shone up for the Archery Tournement. Prince Karasu sat in a chair on a covered section of the grounds next to him sat Kurama, Hiei, Yuusuke, amd Kuwabara. Kurama noticed some famillar people in the crowds and a man that looked very famillar to him. He was dressed in a dark green tunic with a yellow sash the baggy black pants were shoved into dark brown boots and of course he had a bow and a few arrows. He wore a wide brimbed hat that kept his hair covered.
'Botan what are you up to?' Kurama thought staring at him.
"We have company our ladies aren't very good listeners," he mummurred to his friends.
"Fuck," muttered Hiei. "That woman is unbelievable."
"But you find her desireable," snickered Yuusuke.
Hiei snorted and watched has Shreiff Touya approached the field and stood next to Botan who was dressed has a guy. Shreiff Touya was dressed in all dark blue. They were joined by other archers.
"This should be interesting," smirked Hiei leaning forward.
Shreiff Touya, Botan, and the others shot their arrows and Shreiff Touya and Botan both hit the middle of target. So while the others left Botan and Shreiff Touya moved closer together has a new target was brought out.
"Well down Botan Hood!" shouted Prince Karasu.
The entire crowd burst into cheers has she removed her hat and her dark hair fell down to her back. After the cheers died down Prince Karasu stood up and smiled.
"I have a gift for the winner of this tournement. The dead bodies of Botan Hood!"
The crowd gasped and looked at eachother mortfied. Botan however looked furious at him.
"Very well Prince I will play your game and I expect my parent's bodies intact when I win!"
"They will be they will be."
Botan and Shrieff Touya both shot their arrows and Botan's spilt Touya's arrow in half. At that moment the guards descended on her Botan was soon joined by her companions. They all pulled out their weapons and prepared to fight off the prince's guards. But however they were joined by the four men.
"Good to be fighting back to back again right Kurama?" asked Botan.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world Botan," smirked Kurama strikking down a few guards.
Has the group battled off Prince Karasu's guards they realized they were growing in multitued.
"How much longer do you think we can survive this?" asked Hiei.
"No idea though I think sooner or later we are going to be really screwed," said Panth.
"You already were," said Hiei.
Panth rolled her eyes and smirked, "So were you."
Hiei chuckled and looked at Yuusuke.
"Behind you Yuusuke!" he shouted.
"Thanks!" roared Yuusuke bringing his sword behind him. "Better watch your own!"
Hiei sliced the man that was sneaking up behind him. Slowly the group were forced into a circle and were surronded by the prince's guards. "Enough!" shouted a strong male voice.
The entire group bowed down low has King Koenma appeared.
"Brother!" snapped Koenma. "You are charged with treason to the crown and the attempted murder of royalty! Take him and his men away!"
"King Koenma!" shouted Cat standing up bravely.
King Koenma turned and smiled at his queen holding his hands open for her. She dashed into his arms and smiled up at him happily. Before whispering something in his ears.
"My wife tells me this young men and women are loyal to the throne! I would gladly restore your parent's land to Lady Botan."
"Thank you your highness," said Botan.
"And I would gladly return to you your parent's bodies for proper burial."
"Thank you my king."
"Now we must have some weddings in order to celebrate our victory and my return!"
The crowds cheered loudly everything would be better everything would prosper. They were right everything did propser quite well actually. Infact Botan and Kurama had a daughter. That was the splitting image of her deceased grandmother. Hiei and Panth had twins girls one that seemed to resemble a cross between her parents and the other that seemed to look alot like Yukina. Yukina and Kuwabara had no children but adopted the child of a dear friend of another one of the Forest girls who died in child birth. Yuusuke and Keiko had a son who grew up acting like his father. King Koenma and Cat had plenty of children to take over the throne when Koenma's death came which wouldn't be for another fifty years or so.
They all lived happily ever after well except for Prince Karasu and Shrieff Touya.
