~Author Notes~ I came up with the idea for this story a few minutes ago, so I don't know how it's going to end up. I plan out some things in my stories, but when I'm just starting out I type whatever comes to mind, so this story might, at first, turn out a little weird. I do hope you all enjoy the story and please review. This is the first story I am pasting up on this website, so please tell me your views and opinions on my story! Thanks! ^.^ KK (Well... this is my first story going up on mediaminer.org not ff.net)

~Summary~
(Note: This story does not really follow along with the YYH story.) What happens to Kurama when a mysterious man comes in late at night and attacks him? And then what happens when another mysterious man enters his life and begins to make his life more interesting? Will Kurama be able to defeat the mysterious man who attacked him, and will he be able to live a happy life with the new mysterious man that makes his whole world happy? (R&R please ;.;)
(Note: This is a yaoi story, you have been warned so don't get pissed when you find male on male action!)

~Chapter 1~

“No, please, I beg of you! Spare me and I will give you whatever your heart desires!” begged an aging man with hardly any hair on his shiny head.
A figure dressed in black, stood tall and proud before the man. The figure said nothing to the man's pleases, but instead the figure reached down and grabbed a hold of a black handle and pulled out a katana.
The man shrieked with surprise and moved backwards away from the man. “Please, I have done nothing. There are those out there who are jealous of me. Jealous because I have money and they do not. You cannot just kill me because they are jealous!” the man exclaimed.
“No,” the figure said in a soft, eerie voice. “No, I cannot kill you just because they are jealous, but I am going to kill you because I am and will be well paid for this,” the figure explained.
“If it's money you want I can pay you twice as much!” the man cried. “Please spare me!” he added. Tears suddenly fell from his eyes and slid quickly down his round face.
The figure shook his head. “I cannot go back on a contract,” the figure said. He raised the katana above his head, and before the man could take a breath of surprise, the figure brought the sword down. The man's head fell to the floor with a soft thud and then the body fell with the equal sound. Red liquid poured quickly from the man's neck and rushed at the figure's feet, but before the blood could touch the figure's feet, the figure turned and walked to the window. The figure then jumped out of the window and disappeared into the darkness.

Jaganshi, you are needed in Koenma's office. Jaganshi, you are needed in Koenma's office!” exclaimed a voice over the intercom.
A black haired man with a white ring around the front of his hair, opened his blood red eyes and looked around the small room, in which he occupied.
Jaganshi, don't keep the Boss waiting!” exclaimed the voice.
The man growled and pushed himself off of the bed. Damnit, can't anyone get any sleep around here? The man thought as he threw some clothes on over his boxers. Then again, how can I sleep with these dreams? Every night I dream of the same thing, but different people, men, women, children, whoever. I can't sleep with the past coming back to bite me in the ass! The man thought as he headed out of the room and down a spiral staircase. He entered a large office and found a toddler sitting behind a desk.
“What?” he demanded.
“Come in and close the door,” the toddler ordered.
The man did as he was told and closed the door behind him. “What do you want this early in the morning, Koenma,” the man demanded.
Koenma blinked. “Hiei, it's three in the afternoon,” he replied.
Hiei rolled his dangerous eyes and glared at the toddler. “I don't care what time it is, I was asleep,” Hiei said through clenched teeth.
“Well I'm sorry to have disturbed you, but I need you,” Koenma said with a smirk.
Hiei blinked. “You need me?” he asked. What in God's name is this man planning? Stupid little prick! Hiei thought furiously.
“Yes, I need you to do a mission for me,” Koenma said as he looked at his computer.
Hiei growled. “You know damn well that I quit. I have the money I want and I'm finished! I'm already having nightmares with what I've already done. I can't sleep because I did what I did. I'm not doing it again,” Hiei cried. With that he turned away and was halfway to the door when Koenma spoke again.
“In your account you have over ten million dollars, correct?” he asked.
Hiei growled yet again. “Yes,” he said shortly.
“Well why not have over twenty-five million dollars?” Koenma asked.
Hiei blinked at the door and turned slowly around. “The new mission is offering fifteen million dollars?” he asked and Koenma nodded with a smile. Hiei shook his head and glared at Koenma. “No, give the mission to Yusuke or that damn Youko,” he ordered. He headed for the door again, but Koenma spoke again.
“I would give it to them, but Yusuke has his own target and is having trouble with him, and I have my own reasons for not giving the mission to Youko. C'mon Hiei, just one more hit and you're out for good. I won't ask you anymore, promise,” Koenma explained.
Hiei growled, sighed while dropping his shoulders, and then turned around. “Fine, what's the information?” he asked.
“Already printed out for you,” Koenma said as he picked up a couple of sheets of paper and held them out.
Hiei, half willingly and half unwillingly, walked back to Koenma's desk and snatched the papers away. He looked down at the picture and his heart skipped a beat. A beautiful red haired man with gorgeous bright green stared back at him. The man was gorgeous, and Hiei had a feeling he has seen him somewhere before.
“Do I know him?” Hiei asked.
“You know him, but he doesn't know you,” Koenma replied.
“How?”
“Youko. His name is Kurama, also known as Shuichi Minamino, and he's Youko's lover,” Koenma explained.
Hiei smirked. “Then I will have fun with this one,” he said. Hiei never did like Youko and always enjoyed pissing him off. Hiei figured the worst way to piss him off was to do this mission and take the life of his lover. But then something came to him. “Koenma, why not give Youko this mission? Now would be a great time to test his loyalty towards this company,” Hiei explained.
Koenma nodded and sighed. “I would give Youko this mission, but I have personal reasons for not giving it to him. I will have to test his loyalty towards this company another day,” said the toddler. “Now I have one question and then you can leave,” Koenma said.
“And that question would be...?” Hiei asked.
“Are you planning on attacking tonight or wait until a later date?” Koenma asked.
Hiei blinked. This was weird. Koenma has never asked Hiei when he was to attack a target before, maybe it's a necessary thing now. Hiei hasn't had a target in a while so maybe Koenma changed the rules.
“Yea, I'll attack tonight, why?”
“I was just asking,” Koenma replied.
Hiei nodded. “Fine,” he said. With that he bowed and left the office.
Koenma nodded and picked up the phone.
