Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Caged ❯ The End ( Epilogue )
Hiya. This is the epilogue of caged. Hope you liked the series. I think it was different, but neat and refreshing. But that's my opinion. I'd love to hear yours. Thanks for reading!
Caged
Hiei sat on a park bench in the park. He was waiting for Yusuke. The said spirit detective had called him and told him that he had wanted to speak to him. So they agreed to meet here. Hiei sighed. Yusuke had told him what he had said as he had passed out. He had blushed furiously and then said that he probably wouldn't be seeing Kurama again. So he told him that for as much as Yusuke needed to know he was living in the Makai now. He wouldn't be doing any more Reikai work, nor would he be coming back periodically to see Kurama. He was Mukuro's heir, he would stay with her. Boy was he miserable. He couldn't believe that he had said that, especially in front of Kurama. He could never talk to the kit again. He would never be his.
Hiei sighed heavily and closed his eyes, preparing for a quick cat nap. He woke suddenly when a hand shook his shoulder. What had caused him to sleep so soundly? He blinked rapidly to clear his eyes. A bouquet of lilies was in front of his face. Hiei's head snapped to his left. There stood Kurama.
"They're for you," Kurama said. He placed the flowers in Hiei's lap when he didn't move to take them. "Haven't seen you in a while."
"Haven't been around," Hiei said. He began to stand up.
"Wait!" Kurama called out before Hiei had gone two steps. "I'd like to talk to you."
"There's nothing to talk about," Hiei said without turning around. Kurama came up behind him and put his arms around his small friend.
"Sure there is," Kurama said. He pressed his lips to the side of Hiei's face.
