He lay upon a throne of roses and thorns, a broken whip at his side, drops of blood adorning the dirty forest floor Bottle-green eyes closed, long eyelashes resting on his cheeks. He wore clothing made of dirty rags and shredded cloth, silk slippers on his feet. His left cheek was cut, dried blood running down his face, red hair mixing with the liquid. His hands lay motionless on his stomach, long slender fingers entwining with each other. Pale pink lips were closed in a small smile, frozen in place.
