Changing Shape

Chapter 7: Faleer, and Yusuke

They were coming, they were going to kill his clutch, Yusuke let a growl build from within his throat, he glared angered at the being that dared come to harm his children... He couldn't understand the people, they talked in an odd tongue..... Yusuke felt something sting his shoulder.... The pain laced him temporarily, before he felt dreary. Yusuke felt himself slip into darkness...

"There, now let us see our dear friend's differences from Hiei.", Koenma instructed calmly.

They started by unwrapping the tail from the bundle of eggs, carefully tallying the amount. After which they did a careful examination of Yusuke himself... He looked to be in a fine shape...

Meanwhile, back on Earth, at Kurama's house, Kakasi was getting ready to show his Mother, and Father, Faleer, their other son... "Um... Mother?", Kakasi stated, quietly.

"Yes, Kakasi?..", Hiei muttered.

"I- uh, I've met one of my siblings....", Kakasi let it sink in for a second, "He knows what's going on with Yusuke, and that other humans have been made into the same thing...",

"So, bring him in...", Kurama stated.

Faleer entered, his face set to a serious expression... "You need to hunt down all if not as many as possible of the changed humans, and take them to where you have Yusuke...", he quickly stated, "Then, we'll set to work...",

Everyone looked at Faleer, "But how do we?", Kurama started.

"We use the night, their kind are night dwellers, the sun hurts their vision.", came the reply, "They hunt for others to change, and breed like rodents... But if we catch them all on time, then, we'll be able to cure them, I hope.",

Everyone looked at each other, before they all jumped up, and headed out....

"The main difference is the horn, and the size of the.... Well, you know... Look, even has milk glands....", Koenma stated, looking Yusuke over, "Hmmm, and, his body structure is more solidly built, wings are a tenth the size bigger....", he paused, thinking, "His main purpose it seems is to breed, but why?",

"We can tell you why, Koenma", came Kurama's voice, "This is Faleer, a long lost son to Hiei, and myself.",

"So, why is he here?", Koenma asked.

"I know more then you do about what's happening, for one, these are built like this so they can change more humans into what they are... After one whole moon cycle, they are stuck like this forever, for him, I'd say this is true.", he paused, "However, the horn can still be removed, and the control over him with it. If that is done on time, they return to being human, without any memory of what happened to themselves.",

"Hmmm, I see....", he stated, and turned to the org beside himself, "I want you to remove his horn right away, all of it!",

"Yes, Koenma, sir.", the org quickly, yet carefully yanked the horn off of Yusuke's forehead.

Yusuke felt a sudden burden lifted from his soul, but.... He felt different. It all flooded into his mind at once, causing him to shudder, and cry out. He sat up to familiar, yet, distant faces looking down at him. Yusuke felt a prick of anger, but a great deal more so pain... "No!...", he yelled, tears starting to form in his eyes, "No!...",

"I know how it must hurt, Yusuke, but you must calm down....", Kurama tried to sooth him.

Yusuke glared at him a snarl on his lips, 'How dare he say such a thing! To never be human, like you were meant to be forever... ',

Yusuke curled into a bitter ball... Crying over his pain.... "Leave him, we have more to catch.", Faleer reminded.

"Yes, we do.", Hiei agreed.

...

Kuwabara stood, cornered, 'Shit.', he hoped his sword could knock these... Things out before they attacked him.... Then, as if out of no where Kurama followed by Hiei, and Kakasi flew down, quickly shooting tranquilizers into the creatures, then netting them, and taking him along back to Koenma's the three carried the creatures as well.

Yusuke had curled himself, unknowingly around his own clutch as he sulked in his own pain, the chamber where he was had been being filled with more of these things... They were wild eyed, some were still pregnant, and yet, wanted to re- impregnate him... Yusuke had fought off plenty, but he wanted out, no, he needed out. He pushed his way to where Kurama had opened the door, this time to heave in one that was already laying eggs... "Yusuke?", he asked.

"I need out, Kurama.", Yusuke said, firmly.

"Yes, I know you need to, but, Koenma wants to make sure you're... You know, not like them anymore before you're let out....", Kurama looked at him, with saddened eyes, "I'm sorry, Yusuke.",

"But, they're trying to...", Yusuke tried to say, only the door was shut in his face.

More tears, more pain, and before Yusuke knew it, one landed onto his back, he struggled fiercely, but knew he'd met his match, as he was entered, and made pregnant a second time... Only unlike the first, he wasn't joyful to receive it...

The next morning, Yusuke lay wrapped around his first clutch, as pain laced through his lower stomach. He felt contractions come, barely half an hour apart at first.... He just wanted it to end.... He heaved, and screamed, writhing in agony as he lay another clutch.... The first, still not end, and yet, he was laying another.... God, why had he deserved this? He knew his friends where only doing what they felt right, but why was it him? Another pain shot through his body as it squeezed, trying to lay another egg. When he was finished, Yusuke felt some of the others like himself, only still under the control licking at him, an uncontrolled moan escaped his lips, as he lay, panting for breath from laying.... They licked him till he was hardened and tried to push him over to make him have more.... 'No!', his mind screamed, Yusuke obeyed, snarling, and baring his teeth... He clawed, and bit at the rest of them, till they left him alone... He lay around the twenty-five eggs, and stayed that way for a long time.... Not moving a muscle... He felt the cold ground underneath himself, and the cramped conditions that was shared.

"How many does that make?", Koenma asked.

"Two hundred sixty eight.", Botan informed, "Not including the amount of eggs that have been lain lately."

"We better get to work, then.", Koenma stated, "I want you to have at least five orgs working at a time to remove the horns, another six destroying the eggs.",

"Wait, if you wait until right after hatching you can remove their horns as well.", Faleer spoke up.

"Then, I want an incubator set up right away, and twenty orgs working on removing the horns from those that hatch.", Koenma stated, "Mark them, so we know from whom they were taken, and make sure that they are watched with great care. If any of those who's horns are removed are not changed back, sort them into a different group, and return the humans to their world, preferably, near the temple.",

"Yes, Koenma, Sir.", came the replies.

As all set to work, the night seemed long, and tiresome, and Yusuke was still in the grip of a saddened pain...
