Hiei -

 

What is this?... Why can I stop thinking about him? He is my best friend. I don't, no… I CANT have those feelings for him… can I?

 

As it begins to rain these thoughts of mine keep weighing on my mind, getting deeper, more intense. As the drops of water get heavier and begin pelting my skin I look up, only then realising that I am soaking wet, sitting in the tree outside of his window. Looking in I see it is dark inside, but there is just enough light to see the form of the one I keep obsessing about asleep in his bed. WHY? Why am I feeling like this? I shouldn't be feeling like this. The form inside the bed begins to stir, and begins to wake. I'm sitting here, on the tree branch outside his window just staring at him. He gets up and walks to the window. SHIT!!! I forgot to mask my ki. All I can do is stare, I can't run, hell I can't even move, so I just sit there and stare at him. Stare at my fox. My Kurama.

 

Kurama -

 

Hiei is close by, but why has he come here. I open my eyes and get out of bed. I can see a dark figure in the tree outside my window. I move slowly towards the window, opening it and looking at the form of Hiei who is just sitting there, staring at me. “Hiei, what are you doing sitting outside my window, in the rain, at 4 o'clock in the morning?” .The only reply I could hear was a quiet “Hn” as he let himself in and moved towards the corner of the room. I have had feelings for my best friend for some time now, but not knowing what to do. I mean he is Hiei Jaganshi, Forbidden child of the koorime, like he would ever want me. Knowing him, he would probably set me on fire for even bringing up the subject. “Your soaking wet, would you like a towel or some dry clothes to change into?”, I ask, trying to find away to keep myself from running over and kissing him. My god he looks sexy when he is wet. “Hn. No need.” He said as he raised his body temperature and in an instant he was dry. Leaning against the wall he just stood there, staring at me.

 

Hiei -

 

Why can I stop looking at him? Staring at that beautiful fox. Looking at his face, that beautiful face that has every teenage girl and a few of the teenage boys in Tokyo chasing after this amazing creature. His long red hair that reaches his lower back was a bit messed up from sleeping but still looked amazing. Looking down his body I noticed he didn't have a shirt on, only pajama pants. My gaze stopped at his well carved, muscular chest. He was truly perfection. STOP IT! I have to stop thinking these thoughts. Its kurama, my best friend, we could never be more then that, even if I wanted to be. Being the beautiful fox that he is, he would never feel anything for me. A forbidden child, thrown away at birth. I probably repulse him. Yet still I cant stop looking. I can't get enough of this fox. It's not only his looks that im drawn to though, it's more then that, it's his kindness, his understanding, his gentleness, his everything. I... I think.. im…. in love with... the fox, my fox.

 

 

 

Kurama -

 

What is he doing? He just keeps looking me up and down. Unless im mistaken it looks like he is checking me out. Wait a minute. Hiei checking me out. No way, he couldn't possibly feel the same way about me… could he? “Fox.”, He said as be began walking slowly towards me, still staring at me with those big crimson eyes. “There's something I need to talk to you about.” Stoping right before me, our faces only inches away from each other. “and what would that be?”, I ask, not knowing what else to do. “About this”, he said as he slowly leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine. Could this really be happening? Was Hiei really kissing me? I begin to kiss back and the small fire demon began to pull back.

 

Hiei -

 

Oh god what did I do that for. Wait a minute, was he just kissing me back? I look into those beautiful emerald eyes, they look confused. We just stand there, staring into each others eyes. Suddenly Kurama leans in and kisses me. I kiss back, this time knowing he wants me too; simultaneously we wrap our arms around each other, his arms around my waist and my arms around his neck. We share a closed mouth kiss, not breaking until we both needed air. “Kurama?' I asked, not knowing what to do or say next. “Hiei, Im in love with you, have been for some time now”, I was shocked to hear these words come from the fox. I held him tighter and pulled him in for another kiss, running my tongue over his lips to make him open them slowly sliding it into his mouth. We stay like this for some time, only breaking the kiss to breathe.

 

Kurama -

 

I never thought in a million years that this would be happening. We both walk back towards my bed, not once letting go of our embrace or breaking the kiss. We fall back onto the soft mattress without a sound. “Fox”, said Hiei, only breaking the kiss for a second. “hmm”, was all the response I could come up with through the kiss. “i..(kiss) think…(kiss) i…(kiss) love…(kiss) you... (kiss) too…( kiss). A wave of joy spread through my body as I herd those words. Never in all my dreams did I ever think this could be possible. I think this is going to be the best thing that could have ever happened to me.
