(Chap 4)
-My lord- The small dolphin Iruka addressed his master Triton through the telepathic connection they shared. If anyone understood the danger of his masters anger it was Iruka. He could feel the oceans changing. Going back to the ways they were before his master took control. Without the power of his conch Triton lost all control over the ocean and it's waves.
-Iruka- Triton nodded for the tursiops truncatus to continue.
-I have news. It seems the thief of your conch is no longer in the ocean. We tracked it all the way across the pacific until it hit land. The swim is too much for a human meaning your suspicions of our thief being a selkie is right.-
-Of course it is. What other creature would be fool enough to try such a thing.- Sulkies' have been constantly opposing Tritons rule. They are creatures that can transform from seal into human by shedding their seal skins and can revert to seal form by putting their selkie skin back on. They have tried many bold things but none as bold as this. Iruka felt sorry for the selkie who stole the conch. His master wasn't one for mercy.
-What actions do you recommend we take master?-
-Find it's skin. I've...spoken with Koenma. He has his men on land searching for the skin and conch and for they're sake and ours they better find It fast.- Iruka didn't need any further explanation on that matter. He was alive back before Triton came to the human world. There was always constant storms above and below the surface. The water was darker and mucky. Filled with sand and mud. Finding food was a matter of luck, not many creatures could survive the conditions. As long as the twisted conch was missing Triton could do nothing as the waters slowly went back to their old ways.

Having successfully dealt with the young couple who formally owned this suite Kevan decided to take a walk around the ship. It had been a while since he last walked, seven years exactly. And the added fact that he was on a ship didn't help. The last thing he needed was to draw any unwanted attention. His mission was almost complete all he needed was an unsuspecting women to play the part he needed.
He had no doubt he would find one. The women these days all grew up on some crazy fantasy of love. The kind they read in books or saw in movies. And then they get hit with a big dose of reality. But Kevan could make those fantasy real. He already had the looks that would have any girl swooning. His dark brown locks hung wavy around his slightly tanned face. He had forest green eyes and that rugged appeal. He was a good 6'3 with a solid build and big feet. He voice was deep with a strong Irish accent. In all his years Kevan has never been turned down by any female and didn't plan to start today.
He already made up his mind on the woman he would use. She was in the suite across the hall from his newly acquired one. Her story was classic. The struggling business woman who has to juggle work school and taking care of her child while her cheating husband is having an affair. How many times had he seen this one. It was to perfect.
Finally reaching the deck Kevan spotted the women by the pool. Now having the walking thing down he took the empty chair next to hers.
"Excuse me ma'am do you mind if I sit here?" She looked up from the book.
"Whatever."
"Thanks. My name is Kevan by the way, yours?"
"Keiko."
"Lovely name for such a lovely women." Kevan smirked when she blushed. 'Too easy.' he thought in his mind watching her turn a page in the book she was reading which he noticed happened to be a romance.
"I don't mean to make you uncomfortable but I've been watching you for a while now. And I couldn't help but notice the look of distress on your face. Tell me what could have a creature as beautiful as you in so much distress?"
"Oh...um...I-I...d-don't really." Her stuttering was getting annoying.
"It's alright I realize I'm but a complete stranger to you. I shouldn't have asked such a personal question like that."
"It's not that just that you have really pretty eyes." The girl looked like a tomato she was blushing so bad. Kevan had to restrain himself from laughing.
"Thank you, but my eyes match not of your beauty."
"T-thank you."
"Ms Keiko. I was wondering if you could spare an hour or so of your beauty sleep to gaze some stars with me tonight?"
"I w-" She was cut off by, who Kevan believed was, her husband.
" There you are Keiko I've been looking all over for you." Kevan noticed how her demeanor changed.
"If you had bothered to come check on us you would have seen the note I left in the suite."
"But you kicked me out!"
"So if you cared enough about your family you would have came back instead of," Kevan noticed she faltered. " You were with her weren't you. You went back to that slut!"
"Keiko calm down. Why are you always so quick to jump to conclusions."
"Then where were you Yuskue."
"On Kuwabara's couch."
" Do you think I'm stupid Yuskue. Kuwabara is not on this ship."
"Yes he is and so is Kurama, Hiei, and Botan."
"Yus-" Yuskue cut her off.
"Look see there's Kuwabara right now. Over at the snack bar." Kevan followed the gaze to what he believed was the most hideous creature he ever saw.
"How-"
"Later. Who the hell is this?" Yuskue nodded at Kevan.
"Oh I'm Kevan I have the suite across from you. Nice to meet you Yuskue I believe." Kevan said smugly.
"Yeah Urameshi. You here with your wife?"
"No I'm single, at the moment." He looked at Keiko while saying the last part.
"What a pretty guy like yourself hasn't been snagged up. With hair like that I'd imagine you'd have every man on your block falling head over heels." Kevan glared at the insult.
"Yuskue!" Keiko yelled at Yuskue. Not feeling like hearing another quarrel Kevan stepped in.
"I think you may be confused Mr.Urameshi I'm not gay. In fact I have a very lively attraction to women. I'm also running late I'll see you two later." Kevan said grinning as if this was his competition there was no competition at all.

That morning went pretty smooth for Aaralyn. The child center was pretty much quiet. Only a few kids where brought in that day and she wasn't complaining. Except for the part of Samui watching her like a hawk all day. Oh and of course the constant gossip flying around.
She ran into Yuskue earlier on her way to the center. He seemed a little upset to her and she was running late so it was kind of a nod and keep moving type of thing. She made a mental note to speak with him later, but now she had work to do. One of the maids called in sick so guess who was replacing her.
The room she was in now belonged, guessing by the stuff, to someone young obviously a guy and maybe his girl. This is one of the luxury suites for the V.I.P guest. It looked pretty much in order except for the bedroom. The sheet were messed up and there was a horrible odor. After process of elimination Aaralyn guessed the smell was coming from the large duffle bag in the closet. Choosing not to invade guest personal things Aaralyn closed the closet and went to straighten up the bed. While doing this a medium size object white and blue object caught Aaralyn's eye. When she finished the bed she walked over to look at the object. It was the most beautiful necklace she had ever seen. There where small shells of all kind on it ,but what really caught her eye was the conch in the middle. It was a very light blue and about the size of her pinky. Before she knew what she was doing Lyn grabbed the necklace and dashed out the suite.
In her hurry Aaralyn ran up on dock and straight into a brick wall. Well maybe not a brick wall more like a really strong chest. As she stumbled backwards she collided into another chest, but this one caught her as she started falling forward.
"Hey are you alright?" The first chest spoke.
"Yeah I'm fine. So sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." Getting back on balance Aaralyn took this time to look further up from his chest to find the man in front of her wasn't the finest on the block. He had weird orange hair and small beady eyes. From how far she had to crank her head up to see him Aaralyn figured the guy maybe 6'4. As for the man holding her she figured him about Yuskue's height so 6'1.He had fiery bright red hair slightly pale skin and deep forest eyes.
"Um. You can let go any time now." Aaralyn pointed out to the red head who abruptly let go.
"Sorry."
"It's alright don't worry about it..." She trailed of hinting she wanted to know his name.
"Oh Shuichi Minamino but most just call me Kurama." Lyn nodded and turned to the other.
"Kazuma Kuwabara. You?"
"Oh-" Lyn was abruptly cut off when a Irish looking man rudely brushed past her. Causing her to loose balance once again, this time though Kuwabara caught her.
"Hey watch it you jerk!" Kuwabara yelled in her defense but the man kept walking. "Sheesh the nerve of that guy. Are you alright?" Lyn laughed.
"Once again yes. Now like I as saying-" The person who cut her off this time was a face she knew.
"Lyn there you are." Afeni ran up to her. "Tatti has been looking for you. Your shift stars in like five minutes." The little leprechaun started pushing her cousin in the direction of the restaurant.
"Okay, Ok. By guys." She directed the last part to Kuwabara and Kurama., who had very surprised looks on their faces which Aaralyn chose to ignore.
