Koshin; I haven't forgotten your tape. I'll post it ASAHP. To Tikal; Happy now!!!

“We can't. We're just to different. Do you understand?” Rieko explained.
“How are we different?” Kurama asked, “We're both in the same situation, two demons remaining in the human world.” “We just can't. Kurama, you work for the spirit world, you're smart and your mother…” She started. Kurama cut her off, “And you. What is so different? You, too, work for the spirit world, one of the top five in our class.” “I just can't!” She screamed at him. She walked to the door, “Get out.” “Rieko…” He said, puzzled. “Please, just go.” She said. Kurama walked to her, “Good night Rieko.” and left. She closed the door and sat down, “I'm sorry.” and wept.
“Wowie! What's that?” asked Yusuke. The guys where at Kurama's house for some fun. Kuwabara walked over to the bar, “Looks like some one left the cap off the gin again.” he said as he replaced it. “The poor guy.” said Yusuke, “All this fuss over a girl. Geeze! You wouldn't see me acting like that.” Kuwabara flopped down on the couch, “Aww, shut up Urameshi. You where the first of us to get married, remember?” “I'm the only one of us who got married, numskull.” Said Yusuke, socking Kuwabara on the head. “Maybe we should go check on him?” The boys walked up the stairs to the second floor landing and down the hall. They opened to Kurama's room to find him lying, face down in the pillows. Yusuke ran over, “Kurama?” He shook him, “Kurama!!” Yusuke picked a small piece of paper from Kurama's cold hand. `I'll love her till I die.' was written across it. Kuwabara was on the phone with 911 before you could say… well, anything.
Yusuke was pacing outside the emergency while Kuwabara was busy trying to get a hold of every one on the phone. Suddenly, the doctor emerged. “How is he?!” Yusuke shouted. The doctor hung his head, “I'm sorry. There's nothing more we can do.”
Rieko was at home when the phone rang, “Yes?” “Rieko?” asked Kuwabara. “Speaking.” “It's Kurama.” ”What about him?” “He's had and accident.” “What?!” “This morning. The doc says it was an overdose. Drank himself to death.” “He doesn't… Kurama doesn't drink.” “Yeah, you wanna come down?” “I… I'll think about it.” “Ok, see you.” “Yes, good-bye.” She hung up the phone and started crying.
“Where is she?” Yusuke asked the wall in the recovery room, “She should have been here by now.” Kuwabara piped up, “Maybe we should go get her. She shouldn't be driving now knowing her.” “Yeah.” Yusuke agreed, “Let's go?”
They arrived at Rieko's house half-an-hour later. “Rieko?” yelled Kuwabara as he and Yusuke entered. They walked to the back of the house to her room. Yusuke knocked, “Rieko, you here?” He opened the door. Rieko was lying face down on her bed, an empty medicine bottle on the floor. The boys ran to her. Yusuke checked her pulse while Kuwabara dialed 911 again. “Don't.” said Yusuke sadly. “Why not Urameshi?” asked Kuwabara. Yusuke shook his head, “She's gone.” He noticed an object in her hands. He slipped it from her grasp to have a look. It was a picture she and Kurama had taken at Yusuke's wedding, with tear drops on the glass.
Kurama survived. He spent the rest of that year consumed with his work. He got married seven years later and had two beautiful children, a boy named Yomi and a girl named Rieko.
Rieko was buried under a willow tree at Genkai's temple. Her headstone was shaped like a wolf. It read:
Heroshima Hoshi (Rieko)
1988-2013
Great Friend, Loving Daughter
Missed, but not forgotten.
Every year of their lives the spirit team would spend the first night of winter at the temple. They promised they would never forget this place and would be buried here, at this temple, under that tree.
