Yusuke: OK, who's bright idea was this?!

Botan: Mine. And I know you are going to enjoy it when we get there.

Botan smiled. Then Hiei caught her eye. He was walking along with Kurama. Kurama. That sneaky little fox is ruining everything. She huffed to herself.

Botan: Well, I'll fix his wagon. She said aloud, not thinking anyone would hear

What was that? Yusuke came up beside her.

WHAT!? Oh. Nothing, Yusuke. Botan smiled merrily.

She glared back at Kuwabara and Kurama. Kuwabara would pay, too. Always making fun of Hiei. She glared harder. Kuwabara looked at her quizzically. She realized he saw her and quickly turned around. Oh, he'll pay.

LATER *************

Yusuke yawned. It had been a long hike, but they were finally there in the middle of nowhere.

I thought this was supposed to be fun. Kuwabara complained, sitting down next to Yusuke.

Botan: Oh, it will. There will be lots of running and screaming We'll have a great time.

She looked over at Hiei who lifted an eyebrow questionably. He looks so cute when he does that. She smiled at him, which was returned with a dark glare. He's cute when he does that, too. She mused. Then she remembered

Kuwabara why don't you go and get some fire wood? She smiled pleadingly at him.

Kuwabara :OOOkayy.

He stood up. Everyone heard a huge CRACK. Kuwabara stopped, then bent over howling in pain. Then he fell to the ground. Botan quickly hid her metal baseball bat behind her back, hoping no one saw.

Kuwabara? Yusuke poked at him. Nothing. Its okay, guys he's just sleeping!

Botan laughed nervously Yeah Boy, she was glad Yusuke never went to school, of course not like he would know anyway. He got a 12 on his last test but Kurama on the other hand, would pose a problem.

Botan: Yusuke, Kurama, why don't you go and get the fire wood?

Okay. Yusuke waited for Kurama and they both headed off into the woods.

Botan: Hiei, I'm gonna go and find that nearby stream. You just stay here.

Again, Hiei lifted an eyebrow. KAWII! Botan cooed mentally. Then headed of in the same direction as Yusuke and Kuwabara.

SOMEWHERE IN THE WOODS ******************

Yusuke bent down to pick up a stick, and howled in pain. My back! He slowly, painfully, straightened out. He heard footsteps behind him.

Botan? What are you doing?

Botan looked up in surprise. OH I was uh I mean, I was justshe stumbled for the right words. Iwaslookingforthestream! She blurted out.

Oh, well, can you help me pick up this piece of wood I can't- - hey wait! I don't hear any strea- CLUNK!

Oops? Botan smiled merrily. Then set out to search for Kurama

SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE WOODS***************

Botan walked into a small clearing. Hiei sat smirking at her. Hiei?! He knows or does he? Play it cool, Botan. She shouted mentally.

So, you killed them all off, didn't you, Fairy Girl? Hiei's smirk turned into a dark glare.

Botan laughed nervously. He knows.

Of course not, Hiei. She said, trying to throw him off. It doesn't help that he's psychic. Hiei laughed. Wait. He LAUGHED?

Hiei she began, but couldn't grasp the words. Hiei got up and walked over to her, sliding his arm around her waist. She blushed brightly.

You think I don't know? He smirked again. Silence. Botan bent over to kiss him, then stopped. What about Kurama? she asked, she hadn't found him yet

Don't worry. I've already taken care of him

A LITTLE EARLIER***********

Hiei, have you come to help get fire wood? Kurama turned to face the fire demon. His smile faded. Hiei sat, glaring icy daggers at him.

Hiei? Are you alright.

Hiei unsheathed his katana, and smiled wickedly at Kurama. Kurama couldn't move. Was this for real? Hiei disappeared and materialized beside Kurama driving the katana deep into him. Kurama fell to the ground. And was surrounded by darkness

BACK IN THE PRESENT*****************

Oh. Botan replied, a little surprised that Hiei had killed the fox demon.

She sat down with him, and they shared a passionate kiss. Botan broke the kiss, smiling shyly at Hiei. Wait. What about the others?

Not a problem. Hiei replied, and leaned forward for another kiss.
