SK: Chapter fifteen is here I hope you like it and sorry it took me a while to get this up I've been busy, well without further ado here is the chapter.

Chapter Fifteen: Birth-Prequel to a Fight

 

Darren was sitting down on the couch at their home with Luna spread out on the couch, her head resting on Darren's lap. Darren's hand was resting on her swollen stomach and rubbing it alittle with his thumb. He suddenly looked up seeing Kit running into the living room, his hair wet and him crying. Next Keyla walked into the living room with a pair of scissors in her right hand. “Trying to cut his hair again?” asked Darren. Keyla nodded her head then walked over to Kit, who was keeping quiet since he saw Luna was asleep.

Keyla grabbed Kit and walked back upstairs, Kit starting to cry again. Darren shook his head laughing softly since he didn't understand why Kit didn't want to get his hair cut. It sure wasn't boring since Keyla and Kurama temporally moved in with them so help out around the house. Also Luna was due any day now and sleeping more often. Darren and Kurama had been working on the babies' room and got it done a few days ago, luckily Luna hadn't had the babies yet. Darren couldn't wait for the babies to be born nor could Luna. They wanted to see what the babies looked like as well as to hold them.

Luna shifted a little in her sleep and yawned some signaling that she would wake up soon. Darren smiled down at her when Luna opened her eyes and sat up. She smiled alittle saying, “How long was I asleep?” “I don't know,” said Daren, “about four hours maybe.” “That's a long time and I was on you the whole time,” said Luna. “Its ok I didn't mind it at all,” said Darren. Suddenly Kit ran into the room screaming, “Keep grandma away from me please!” Luna raised an eyebrow and looked at Kit saying, “What is she doing?” Kit jumped lightly into Luna's lap saying, “Mommy she is trying to cut my hair.” Luna laughed alittle and scratched Kit behind the ear saying, “You do need alittle trim Kit your starting to get shaggy.” “I guess your right mom,” said Kit and walked upstairs, whining alittle though.

When Kit came back down again his hair was slick and was back to his shoulders. Luna smiled then noticed what time it was and said, “Kit its time for bed.” Kit whined alittle but did what he was told when Darren walked into the room and gave him a look. Darren then picked Luna up bridal style and walked to their room saying, “You should be going to bed to it's already 11:00 at night.” He laid her on the bed then climbed in with her before covering them both up and falling asleep, Darren's hand on Luna's stomach again.

One of Karasu's lackeys was outside with a camera waiting for the perfect tie to turn it on. He was out there because Karasu decided to kill Luna, but first kill her children. So he was waiting to make his moved after her kids were born. The lackey was leaning agent a branch almost a sleep when he heard someone screaming. He listened then smirked turning the camera on, Luna was giving birth.

Luna was fast asleep when she suddenly woke up because pain was shooting threw her. She whimpered alittle causing Darren to wake up and look at her with concern clearly written on his face. “Luna what's wrong?” asked Darren. Luna whimpered again, her ears flat agenst her skull and she snapped, “I'm in labor get me mom.” Darren shot out of bed and to Keyla and Kurama's room pounding on the door, Keyla answered looking at him confused and Darren said, “Luna's in labor help.” Keyla ran to there room and saw Luna on the bed already covered in swear, her water broke.

Keyla moved Luna into a better position then rushed Darren out of the room. She shut the door on him and just as Daren was about to go back into the room Kurama stopped him. Luna started screaming and Kit ran out of his room saying, “Why is mom screaming?” Darren picked Kit up and sat down in a chair a crossed the hall saying, “She is having your little brother and sister Kit.” “Why is she screaming though dad?” asked Kit. “Lets just say it's not an easy task Kit,” said Darren. He tried to relax but every time he heard Luna scream he tried to run into the room. A few minutes later Ukina arrived and without saying a word went into the room, closing the door after her.

When Ukina came in Luna was screaming in pain and the baby was crowning. “Come on Luna push your doing good,” said Keyla. “What do you think I'm doing,” snapped Luna and started pushing again. Ukina grabbed a clean cloth and other thing necessary for when the baby was out. Luna kept pushing until the shoulders were out and after that the rest came out rather quickly. Ukina clamped the cord and Kayla cut it before cleaning the baby and Ukina saying, “It's a little girl.” Luna smiled but started screaming when the little ones brother wanted out. She started pushing again and the baby cam out relatively fast. Soon the shoulders were out then the rest of it. Luna sighed as Keyla and Ukina cleaned the baby up. Ukina smiled and handed both babies to Luna while Keyla cleaned her and the area up.

Ukina opened the door and Darren gave Kit to Kurama before darting into the room. Kurama shook his head and said his good byes to Ukina as she left. Darren knelt beside Luna and she smiled at him. He kissed her forehead then sat down next to her and she handed him the boy saying, “Here's your little boy.” Darren looked at the boy and saw he had little fox ears but no tail. Also his hair and ears were black with a silver stripe going down the middle, also his eyes were gold. He smiled then looked at his daughter in Luna's arms noticing she also had little fox ears but no tail. She had black hair with silver ears and her eyes were hazel.

He looked at Luna saying, “So what should we name them?” “I like Crystal for this little one,” said Luna referring to their daughter. “I like it,” said Darren, “As for this little guy how about Koharu. “I like it,” said Luna before yawning. Darren took Crystal from her arms and kissed Luna on the forehead saying, “Why don't you get some sleep you look tired.” Luna nodded and closed her eyes instantly falling asleep. Kit had came in alittle later and was now smiling at Crystal and Koharu. Kurama smiled then he and Darren both quickly looked at the window hearing a noise. Darren put the twins in the basinet in the room then said, “Keyla, Kit watch over these three.” Then he and Kurama both jumped out of the window to see what made the sound they just heard.

While the lackey had been sending the footage of the birth to Karasu he stepped on the branch causing it to crack and make noise. He steadied himself and was about to run when he saw Kurama and Darren coming at him. He stood there and Darren landed on the branch grabbing the lackey by the neck. Kurama noted a lot of weird equipment and they both heard the lackey saying, “You can kill me it doesn't matter Karasu just found out those little abomination were just born.” Darren growled in anger and crushed the lackey's throat causing his to suffocate to death. He then kicked the body off before he and Kurama went back into the house. Darren went back into his room and took Koharu and Crystal out of the basinets and between him and Luna before falling asleep. His arms were wrapped around them protectively to nothing would happen to her or the twins.
