Chapter 11 Captured

`I forgot….. I can swim…. But not so good as to I can swim all the way back onto land…` she opens her eyes (still under water) and looks up at the surface, the sun was beating down on the water giving it the shiny look. She starts to swim up. `Yusuke you jerk` `how far did I sink?` she thinks as she starts to reach the surface.

One she finally reaches it, she starts gasping for air.

"YUSUKE YOU JERK!!!!! YOU THREW ME TO HARD AND FAR!!!!"

Yusuke was just laughing his mouth off.

"COME OVER HERE AND HELP ME!!!!!!!"

"NO WAY!!!" He screams back at her. Vera just floats there glaring at Yusuke, who happened to be looking right at her at the time, and he kind of flinched.

"I'm… still not going to help you!!" he says back at her.

"but Yusuke!!!"

"no!"

Vera looks all over the place for something near to swim to. But all she sees is lake, more lake, and forest on the other side. The forest happened to be nearest, so she dived under the water and started over there. `if I swim under water, they won't see me… maybe I can reach the other side and explore… or maybe I could just dry off and go back to the temple… or maybe I can go look for Hiei!!!`

Once she reaches the other she climbs out and looks to where the others were standing, they were like tiny little dots. Just for the fun of it she stuck out her tongue and then shook herself around like a dog would.

`that helped some… but not enough!! I'm still wet!` she then starts towards the forest. `maybe I should yell out something and see if it echo's…` but she decides not to and walks on.

After awhile she felt something fly over head, but she looks up to see nothing.(come on girl and get down!!!! … I'll stop listening to this song now…)

`this is kinda creepy…` She keeps walking for 10 more minutes. `I'M STARTING TO GET COLD!!!` She looks down at the ground and sees random specks of dieing flowers, and vines, and moss, and once and awhile she had to jump over a tree that had fallen down; some looked as if they had been cut down. `maybe I should call out Hiei's name or something… I highly doubt he'll come… but ya never know`

"HEY HIEI!!!! ARE YOU OUT HERE!!!!!??????"

There was no answer.

"HELLO??!! HIEI!!!! SOMEBODY WITH A COAT???!!! ANYBODY WHO KNOWS HOW TO RUN FAST!!!! HELLO!!!!!"

(hey mister DJ keep playing that song for me, out on the floor in my arms she's gotta be. WHY IS THIS SONG ALWAYS ON WHEN I TYPE??)

There was a slight noise up in the tree's, then she felt something land behind her. "Hiei?" she says while turning around, but then something grabbed her from behind. She sends off a small scream, and struggles.

"now, there's no need for struggling, I won't kill you, but I'm not sure what me master will do to you." The voice was soft, but at the same time serious. Vera was starting to get scared.

"HIEI!!!!!!! HELP!!!! HIEI!!!!"

She gets a glimpse of her capturer. He looked pretty human except for the fact that he had big black bat like wings. He was muscular and had short messy black hair. And his eyes were a dark purple which had that mysterious look to them. He looked a bit taller than Erin, 6'6. (man, right now, I've got a good idea goin on… your gonna be so amazed and surprised… holy crap this is getting better than I thought it would!^_^)

Vera struggles some more. The boy holds her still. "I'm not going to hurt you."

"then what are you going to do with me?`

"I'm going to take you to my boss." He says simply. Vera just stares at him in fear. His eyes stayed the same. Then he spread his wings, and flew up into the air. And as they flew off, a bracelet that she always kept in her pocket that her mother had given her when she was 5, fell out.

WITH THE OTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"hey, has Vera come back yet?" Yusuke asks. IT had been 2 hours since he had thrown her into the river and she had swam to the other side.

"hn" Hiei was sitting in the window with his eyes closed.

"maybe she got lost in the forest." Kuwabara suggested.

"no… she would of come back by now…" Yusuke says looking over at Hiei.

"Erin, you've been quiet, is anything wrong?" Kurama asks.

"… I sense… something…" Erin says, he looks at the window. It was getting dark.

Genkai walks into the room with Felix at her heals.

"I think we should go search for her." Genkai suggests walking towards the door. Everyone nods in agreement and follows her out of the room.

20 MINUTES LATER AT THE SPOT WHERE VERA USED TO BE!!!!!

"she's not here… maybe shes back at the temple." Kuwabara suggests.

"your just afraid of being in a forest like this." Yusuke says to him smirking.

"AM NOT!!!"

"ARE TO!!"

"ARE NOT!"

"would the both of you shut your mouths and look for Vera!" Genkai yells at them.

5 MINUTES LATER!!!!

"ok… maybe she is back at the temple now!" Alyssa says in a I guess you were right tone.

"…"

They turn to leave, but then Felix runs up to Hiei holding a bracelet.

"…"

He takes it from Felix and looks at it.

"Genkai." Genkai turns around and Hiei holds up the bracelet.

"Yusuke do you know if this is Vera's or not?"

Yusuke takes it from Genkai and looks at it.

It was a white bracelet that had stars and crescent moon charms hanging from it.

"yah, its hers, her mom gave into her on her 5th birthday."

"That means someone took her!!!!!!!" Erin says.

"I knew it… he's really had to go to being a slave" Erin says with a sad expression on his face.

"who are you talking about?" Alyssa asks. (yes there are some times when she is serious about things)

"… someone I know…"

"enough about that, we've gotta figure out where this … well… who took her, and where." Yusuke says putting the bracelet in his pocket.

"lets go to Koenma!!!!" Alyssa says loudly while jumping on top of Hiei and demanding he carry her there. He just drops her and disappears.

"HEY!!!!" Alyssa says while waving a fist in the air.
