This is my poem on Hiei's life. I wrote this one day just for fun and because my best friend, the sorceress wrote her poem, "White Thief" about Yoko Kurama which gave me the idea to write a poem about Hiei so I wrote this.

Destiny of Sadness

Lonely assassin hiding in the night,

Stalking the victim and prowling without light.

A remembrance is coming on,

Falling, falling from the sky,

He is yet but a child like you or I,

Abandoned no family,

No friends; nothing,

Found a new family; but once again abandoned,

Learned of a sister once again on a quest,

For family and friends and for some rest,

Stealing may not make many friends but he gets stronger in the end.

His sister is found; reunited at last,

The loner has changed his once dark past.
