A Bloody Rescue...

Reina looked at the boys who were supposedly her rescuers. She thought that they took long enough to find her. The boss looked at her with an evil grin and told one of the guards to come over here. "Put some energy shackles on her wrists. We don't want to take any chances if she escapes." She felt disgusted on how he said that. Hiei noticed that they were putting something else on her, and it seemed to be a little painful because she started to squirm and some droplets of blood fell to the floor. He growled under his breath. They dare touch her! I'll make sure their death is a painfully long one if they touch her...wait. Why do I care? Kurama must be rubbing off on me. Kurama saw Hiei and smiled to himself thinking that his anti-social friend was starting to feel something for this girl. His thoughts were interrupted when he saw their leader step forward.
"Well, well, well, it seems the infamous Reikai Tantei has arrived to my humble abode! Tell me do you like it? His voice had a sinister ring to it.
"Heck no! You capture someone and tell me to like your house? You're really slow on the facts!" Yusuke yelled. His temper hadn't changed one bit since they arrived.
The boss shook his head. "My my aren't we a little bit excited to be shredded into bits." This made Yusuke mad. " Since you wish to have an early death I will send out my experiment now. Open the gate."
As he said that doors on the left side of the ring opened to reveal a monster. It seemed to be a mix of different yokai. Its head was like a deadly fish with sharp teeth, arms with sharp claws at least 3 ft. long, legs like a wolf to give its speed, and a tail with five ends that looked like a whip with daggers at the end of it. The boss looked pleased with his creation. "I call my creation, Fugiki. Isn't it spectacular?"
"You mean extremely cruel and gross!" blurted Kuwabara. Hiei had to agree with the idiot on this point. Even if the fire demon had no feelings whatsoever it was worse to mix yokai together. It's just disgusting to think about.
"Yes, it may not look very appealing but it has a few surprises." the boss spoke. Just as he finished speaking the beast moved at a very quick pace, only Hiei could follow his fast movements.
"Hiei," Kurama asked. "Can you keep track where he is?" Hiei nodded his head trying to keep his concentration up. It had little help when the demon creation appeared behind Hiei and before Hiei could escape it slashed his back from at least a little above the hip bone all the way to the top of his shoulder. When the whole incident happened Hiei didn't even tense up from his injury. He just smirked as he stood still.
"Hiei! What the heck!" Yusuke screamed not able to believe that his friend was actually injured as fast as that. Hiei just glared at him with a be-quiet-or-you'll-ruin-the-plan look. The detective didn't understand what had happened.
The boss seemed very happy at the situation not aware of Hiei's plan at all. "Well, it seems your friend has gotten a taste of Fugiki. Hiei then gave the crime lord his usual smirk.
"It seems that your stupidity is really all you rely on," he simply said. The boss was struck dumbfounded when the beast literally torn into tiny little pieces. Hiei smirked again at the worthless fight. "It was very easy for me to win. All I had to do was pretend that I was losing. Is that the best you can do?" The boss didn't know what to say except that he ordered his men to attack but they all ran away in fear out of the building. Suddenly Hiei appeared next to him and gave him a good whack on the head by the handle of his katana. Reina moved back as her kidnapper fell to the ground in a matter of seconds. It took the guards two days to keep Fugiki under control yet this man can defeat it under two minutes. She thought to herself. The other boys rushed over to Hiei.
"Man Hiei! You could of told me that you were gonna do that! You scared the pants off of me when that thing attacked you when it shouldn't have!" Yusuke told the fire demon. He just simply said his usual 'hn' and started to say a chain of things on how humans are total idiots. Reina just looked up at her rescuers. Kurama was the first to notice.
"I'm sorry that this took a long time but,"
"Took a long time? I waited TWO YEARS but Koenma was too stupid to even realize that I was gone missing!" She held in the anger for a long time and was glad to finally get it out of her system.
"I'm sorry, but I was here for a long time and I couldn't contain my anger any longer." Kurama understood her feelings and told her it was okay. He was about to take off her shackles when she stopped him.
"Um...before you get these things off of me could you tell me a little about yourselves. I mean I don't want to be taken hostage again if you guys are phonies or anything." The fox was a little shocked to hear a little bit of their pasts before her shackles were taken off.

"Well, my name is Kurama and I am also Yoko Kurama. Yusuke is the Spirit Detective for Koenma and is a hanyou. Kuwabara is a human with a strong sixth sense. And Hiei is a fire demon." Her eyes fell on Hiei and she continued to stare at him and that made him irritated.
"Thank you so much for the information. It gets me a little nervous sometimes," she said quietly.
"I understand completely," Kurama answered back. He finished taking her shackles off her ankles and was about to do her wrists when a steel blade met his neck.
"Back. Away. From. Her." He coldly said. The fox was staying very still not to upset his short-tempered friend.
"Hiei, do you have a reason for me not to release her?" Kurama asked. She seemed innocent to him and not harmful.
"The second you take them off of her she will grab a nearby weapon and try to cut my head off. Is that a good enough reason for you?" Hiei demanded. Kurama was a bit surprised to think that she will try to harm Hiei.
"Hiei," Kurama started to say. Hiei moved his sword away from his neck but was still out. "I'm going to take off the shackles whether you like it or not."
"Kurama, don't do it!" Hiei shouted. Kurama didn't listen but when he took them off she disappeared and then reappeared with a sword from one of the weapons that the guards dropped. She charged Hiei with full force even though she had injuries. The fight between them was going extremely fast that none of the boys were able to keep up.
"Um, Kurama? Hate to say it but Hiei was right," Yusuke blankly said. Kurama nodded also for if he was wrong, which he was rarely ever wrong then something was funny. Both were slamming each other into walls or giving each other cuts from the swords.
"Can you tell me why you want to kill me?" Hiei asked with a bored tone.
"To give you what you deserve...death!" She yelled as her fighting became fierce. Hiei was confused at what she said.
"What do you mean?" the demon asked.
"You know exactly what I mean! You killed my parents!" Hiei was astonished to think that. He never killed royalty even if they were horrible rulers. He only killed the thug demons. The other boys were shocked as well.
"I did not kill your parents," he said.
"You liar!" she shouted. “I remember those red eyes. Red eyes that belonged to a fire demon that burned down my home after he slaughtered my parents! That was ten years ago and I found you, you murderer!” Her fighting became very fierce and was just now starting to give Hiei a little trouble. Her speed almost matched Hiei's speed. For a second she disappeared from sight. Then suddenly her body reappeared in front of Hiei.
"Aw man...that's gross!" Yusuke muttered. The three boys were in shock to see Reina with her sword plunged into Hiei's stomach. Though everyone, except Hiei, was surprised that he didn't dodge the attack. He just stood there with both hands tightly holding her hands that held the sword. She tried to release herself from his grip but it was useless.
"Let me go!" she screamed.
"No," he stated. He started to tighten his grip and that caused her to grunt a little bit.
"Let me go now!" she tried again.
"No. I'm trying to show you something, onna. If I was your killer then one, I wouldn't be saving you, and two right as you would've attacked me I would've killed you right then and there. You should get your information right," He said. Hiei let go and she pulled out the weapon, but before she could do anything he stood behind her and knocked her unconscious with the hilt of his katana. As she dropped to the floor the others came forward.
"Well Hiei, you sure know how to get the job done," Yusuke said. Kuwabara wasn't that calm of course though.
"HIEI! YOU LITTLE PUNK! SHE'S A GIRL! WE DON'T FIGHT GIRLS!" Kuwabara screamed at the fire demon. Hiei just hn'd him and sheathed his katana.
"Just get the onna to Koenma already," Hiei mumbled. Yusuke picked up the girl as Hiei and Kurama went outside.
"Hiei, I don't think you needed to knock her out you know. I'm sure she will understand if we tell her properly and not through fighting. Hiei...Hiei are you even listening to me?" Hiei just stood there with his head down. Kurama eventually knew that he was unconscious from his blood loss. He picked up the demon and signaled the others to follow him.

Miko: yay! another one is done!
