Yusuke's Cousin?

Hello! everyone! Sorry about the other fics, they're going to continue, but I'm having a bit of writers block with them and I need time to sort through how I'm going to present it. well here's my new thing. Yes my OC, Kira is Yusuke's (half)cousin he didn't know about. She lives in America, but then her dad decided to take her back to Japan. Well, it's hard to explain cause I am terrible at explaining. So I'll just start my fic. Oh and by the way she can use…oh nevermind…the fic.

<<Spirit World>>

"This is a catastrophe!!!" the young King Koenma yelled.

"What is it, sir?" Jorge asked. Koenma didn't answer for a while, but merely stared at the paper. "Those Makai demons don't' know when to quit."

"It's them again!" Jorge exclaimed. Koenma moaned and flipped the switches on the remote control. "I'm afraid so Ogre, take a look at this guy." Jorge looked and got the chills. This was no ordinary demon. "I-i-is that who I think it is sir?" Jorged shivered.

"Belthazar, once was a demon lord until…" Botan came rushing in. "What's the matter? I got an urgent call!"

"Take a look at this." Koenma gave Botan the paper. After reading it, Botan shook in fear.

"This…is…"

Koenma pointed to the screen. "Him."

"What shall I do, Koenma sir?"

"Go inform Yusuke and the others."

"Yes sire." Botan was about to leave, but was stopped.

"Botan, do you remember Kairi?"

"Yes."

"She has a daughter." Botan was surprised.

"She does!!!"

"Yes, her name is…"

<<America>>

"Dad! Hurry up or else we'll be late for the plane!" Kira called from the doorway. Her dad ran frantically down the stairs, dressed in a suit. He had a business trip the day he arrived at Japan. Kira wasn't happy at the fact that she was moving to Japan. She liked it in California, it's where she was most comfortable and where she can be near her friends and beat down bad guys. (More on that later.) She hated it more because she wasn't entirely fluent in Japanese. What are the school kids going to think of her? Kira let a heavy sigh as they drove to the airport, and what was more embarrassing is that she knew more Korean than Japanese.(AN: She's half Jap/Kor.) How gay is that? Well enough with language. Let's just say that Kira will be the laughing stock of Japan.

"Kira look out the window. We're at LAX!" Kira rolled her eyes. "Dad, it's just an airport."

"Yes, but doesn't it feel great. The air of travel is blowing."

<<sweatdrop>> "Dad, that's just the smell of gas."

"Oh come on, and help me unpack." Kira and her dad started to unload their luggage.

"So, who am I staying with while you're out in business?"

"You're going to stay at my good friend Shiori's home."

"Oh."

After putting their luggage away, they aboard the plane. It was about a 2 day flight and Kira wasn't happy when she first arrived. She didn't get enough sleep and was really cranky. Her luggage was already gathered by her dad, with the help of Shiori's husband. Mrs. Minamino came up to her with a greeting smile. "It's nice to meet you Kira. I've heard a lot about from your father." Kira smiled and bowed. "Nice to meet you too Mrs. Minamino. Thank you for letting me stay at your place, I hope I won't be bothering you at your home."

Shiori smiled. "No not at all, I'm glad to finally meet you. My place is open for you anytime." Kira's dad came from behind them.

"Shall we get going lady's?" Shiori and Kira both nodded and they left. Shiori's husband, Takeru drove as Shiori, Kira and her dad caught up.

They first went to Kira's new home, which was only 3 houses down Shiori's. They dropped off everything and got semi-settled. Kira's dad, Kai had to leave so he gave her the keys to the house and her school uniform. "You'll be attending the school Shiori's son, Suuichi goes to. Okay? I love you, honey. Be good."

He kissed her on the forehead and Kira smiled. "Okay dad. Be careful."

"I will." with that Kai drove off and Kira unpacked her things in the guest room.

Kira looked at her surroundings. It was nice; a bed against the window, a desk against the opposite side of the room with a night stand and closet next to it. The first thing she did was, put a picture of her mother next to her bed stand. "Hi mom." Then she hung her clothes in the closet. Her wardrobe consisted of shorts that came down to her knee, baggy pants, sweaters, shirts, blouses and jackets from America. No skirts or dress. She took out her new school uniform. It was the guys uniform. She smiled, 'Dad knows me well.' <<Knock knock>> "Come in." Kira called to the door. Mrs. Minamino came in. "How do you like it?"

Kira smiled. "It's really nice, thank you again for letting me stay here. I feel kind of rude."

"Oh no, don't be." Mrs. M saw the uniform. "Why don't you try it on?"

"Oh, okay." Kira went into the bathroom and got dressed. When she came out Mrs. M saw that it was the boys uniform. "Oh dear, your father got you the wrong uniform."

"No, he didn't actually. I just don't like skirts and stuff. Pants are a lot more comfortable…"

"Easier to move in." Kira was a little surprised at this. "Yeah, how did you..?"

Mrs. M smiled. "You're mother was just like you."

Kira's eyes went wide. "Really, you knew my mom?"

"Yes, we were very old friends. I'm pretty sure you have the same special talents that your mother had, do you not?"

Kira was stunned after hearing that. "You know about…"

Suddenly from downstairs. "Mother I'm home from school." Mrs. M got up and turned to Kira. "Come down and meet my son Suuichi. I'll tell you more about your mother if you're curious." Kira nodded and followed behind Mrs. M.

Kurama was greeted by his mother and saw a girl, about 5'2, blue eyes, raven hair colored with blue and sliver tied up into a ponytail with bangs on both sides of the face and few strands in the middle, wearing a boy uniform. Mrs. M turned around and introduced her to him. "Suuichi, this is Kira Kim. She's a daughter of an old friend from grade school. Kira this is my son Suuichi."

Kira let out a hand, "Nice to meet you. I hope you don't mind me staying here."

He took her hand and shook. "It's fine, nice to meet you too." Mr. M called out from the kitchen. "Dinners ready!" Mrs. M guided them to the kitchen.

After dinner Kira went to her temporary room and got dressed into her pajama. She walked over to her bed and sat, from her suitcase she took out a scrapbook that her friends made her. Kira smiled and started flipping through the pages. They were pictures, letters and couple of spells in remembrance of their adventures.

Kurama was in his room which was right across from Kira's. He stared at her door, remembering what Botan had told them.

(Flashback)

Everyone was at the park, except Yusuke. He was running late and Botan was getting irritated, "Honestly, does that boy ever come on time?!"

Kurama just let out a slight laugh as Yusuke came running. "Hey sorry I'm late!"

"Well it's about time!" Kuwabara yelled.

"WELL MY MOM WANTED ME TO DO THE GROCERCY, SO I HAD TO MAKE A QUICK STOP!"

"WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN FASTER!"

"Will you two please be quiet!? I have important news to tell you!" Botan screamed.

Hiei was getting irritated and was about to leave, until Kurama stopped him. Hiei looked up at him. "You're in my way."

"You do know what'll happen if we let him win."

Hiei just turned is face away from Kurama's. "Hn."

Yusuke turned to Botan. "So what's the big mission, Botan?"

Botan looked serious. "It's Belthazar." Yusuke and Kuwabara had puzzling looks on their faces. "Who's that?" Yusuke asked.

Botan explained, "He use to be a ruthless demon lord. He ruled over the demon world for his own benefits, not his people."

"One of the reasons many demons started thieving." Kurama stated.

Botan continued, "Yes, but there was one witch that was able to seal him, with the help of a demon named Kai."

"What was her name?" Kuwabara asked.

"Her name was Kairi. She was considered a freak to many demons, human, even her own family, but she was the only one willing to use her powers to defeat Belthazar and Kai helped. Unfortunately Kairi died after using all her strength sealing Belthazar. Kai had fallen under deep sleep from exhausting his energy. He was near death."

"Why would a demon help a witch?" Yusuke asked.

"I'm guessing because he loved her."

"And why do you say that?"

"Because they have a daughter."

Everyone was stunned at this announcement.

"How is that possible? I thought their both dead." Kurama questioned.

"Kairi is dead, but Kai isn't." Botan was getting frustrated and puffed, "Would you guys please let me finish. ((Sigh)) King Enma decided to cut out Kai's memories of the whole event and lock his demon identity deep into his soul. They had their daughter before the sealing. Kairi asked he closest friend to watch their daughter while they were away."

"So…what's our mission again?" Yusuke was getting bored of all this drama. Botan smacked him on the head. "Oww! What was that for?!"

"Stop interrupting! I was getting to that!" Botan took a deep breathe. "At that time Belthazar's goal was to make a clone of himself. He thought of himself as perfect. What's even worse is that he was going to take over all 3 worlds (Spirit, Human, and Demon) and make everyone just like him, under any circumstance. Fortunately he wasn't successful in making a clone, but he was successful in making a seal breaker spell. Now he used it to break and escape the seal."

"And he's after all 3 worlds again and we have to stop him, right?"

"Partially right, you need to find their daughter first. He's after her for revenge and to use her power to reach his goal, this is very important, especially to you, Yusuke."

"Why?"

"She's your half cousin."

"What?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"How do we find her?" Kurama asked.

"Well we don't know much about her. All we know is that she just moved to Japan. She use to live in California."

"What about her name?"

"Koenma still needs to search for that. He knows for sure that her first name starts with K."

((End Flashback))

Kurama was still stunned. He met Kai once, he was a young demon then, but he still remember meeting him, once. Kai had been an aquaintance to his father. He turned his gaze to the window. 'I wonder if it's her, but I don't sense anything suspicious about her and she smells human.'

Kira looked closed the scrap book and hid it in her suitcase. She smiled at the picture of her mother. "Goodnight mom, see you in the morning." she laid on her bed and turned off her light. Mrs. Minamino was about to go in with something in her pocket but stopped. 'Poor child, I should give it to her tomorrow.' She decided to check up on her son.

<<Knock Knock>>

She heard Suuichi calling her in. She opened the door and saw her son getting ready for bed. "Oh, I just wanted to check up on you." Kurama smiled at his mother.

"That's alright mother." Mrs. Minamino was about to leave, but Kurama stopped her.

"Ummm…mother? May I ask you something?"

"Oh sure, what is it my son?"

"Kira, where is she from?"

"She's from America, her father decided to move to Japan because of business."

"Where in America?"

"California." Kurama wanted to know more. "Is there anything else you can tell me about her?" Mrs. Minamino looked at him and smiled. "If you're that curious, why don't you ask her yourself, get to know her. She'll be staying with us for a while. I'm sure she'll be happy to answer your questions." Kurama made a sheepish smile. "Oh that reminds me, Suuichi, Kira is going to attend your school starting tomorrow so help her settle in, okay."

"Of course mother, don't worry."

Mrs. Minamino smiled and kissed her son on the forehead. "Goodnight my son."

"Goodnight mother." She turned out the light and closed the door.

Kurama stared at his ceiling in deep thought. 'Could she be the one we're looking for?' He let out a heavy sigh and went to sleep.

From outside Kira's window there was a shadowy figure looking into the window. It was holding a communicator. "We've found her, my lord."

From the dark abyss of the earth a tall figure was sitting in a chair smirking. "Keep an eye on her."

"Yes sire."

THE END!!!!......hahahaha just kidding!!!!! hahahahahahaha well this is the first chapter of….I don't know the title for!!!! hahahahahaha! sorry on some weird plant Kurama gave me.
