And on with the story!

We where all walking down the dirt path Genkai was leading us to her temple, Hands behind her back she lead us silently through the woods to her `temple' I walked behind Genkai as we slowly walked up a hill until her temple came into view. Genkai then quickened her pace until what felt like 6 hours of walking stopped Genkai opened the door to her large temple and Inuyasha was sitting in the living room with Kagome! My jaw dropped I looked at them as if they had 8 heads until they noticed then I looked away. All though Kagome's eyes followed my forehead my jagan had not yet been re-bandaged so it was very visible and extremely hard to miss. Alex was still staring at Inuyasha until he started to yell at her.

"What are you gawking at" he said as he jumped right in front of Alex.

Alex was so startled she smacked Inuyasha then smiled embarrassed Inuyasha rubbed the spot where Alex smacked him then slumped back to the couch and sat with his legs crossed. Alex stopped gawking at Inuyasha and store of into space

"Kagome show Ashley where she can bandage her forehead" Genkai ordered immediately Kagome lead me away to where her giant bag was she pulled out some bandages and handed them to me. I used my teeth and hands to help bandage my jagan the best I could Kagome was trying to help but every time she got close engulf to help me I stepped back finally Kagome was getting sick of my stubbornness.

"You could at least let me help!" she said out of rage "you acting just like Inuyasha!" she yelled as I paid no attention and tied the couth behind my head and cut of the extra cloth with my teeth. I walked away from her with out a word of thanks it was bad engulf that I had sunk low engulf to get help from a ningen even if she was Inuyasha girlfriend. Kagome followed me down the hall back to the others that where in the living room. Kagome sat back down next to Inuyasha and I stood next to Alex. Genkai then began to speak.

"Inuyasha is here because Inuyasha will all so be on your team in the death tournament." Alex's eyes widened.

"I thought that we where going to the J.R shadow games?" she stated

"You where but your training is taking to long so you gona learn all of your moves then risk your life's at this game!" she stated "the death tournament will start in a few days in that time you will either uncover your powers by your self or have them taught to you" she finished then motioned for me Alex Hailey and missy to follow she pointed missy and Hailey into a pink room as I snickered under my breath even though the color pink was making me twitch.

After we left the doorway to Missy's and Hailey's new room she directed me and Alex into a purple room across the hall. Just as we where inside our new room, Genkai shut the door behind Alex and I leaving us in the dark purple room. It had two beds I dropped my bag on the one to the right and headed towards the window. I sat down on the window sill and looked out side. Alex had her hands behind her head and was staring at the ceiling. (she was lying on the bed) as I continued to look outside it began to rain in was only 4:46pm so I figured that someone would be sent in to bring us to dinner but I dare not leave the window sill I had two much to think a bought I was interrupted from my thoughts as Yukina's head appeared from our once closed door.

"Dinners ready" she said in a extremely perky voice (it sounded something like Kagome's)

"Ok" Alex mumbled her voice was hard to hear over the rain that had just started moment before. She slowly rose from the bed as I left my spot on the window sill to follow her. Alex was being lead to the living room by Yukina there where two boxes of delivery pizza and missy and Kuwabara where nowhere to be seen. Alex jumped at the chance to get some pizza and watch adult swim I took a peace of the pizza and sat down on the floor with my legs crossed despite the fact that there where still spots on the couch. I sat on the floor anyway. Yusuke was bragging to Inuyasha and Kagome about how he killed demons and won the death tournament. He was tacking so loud that I couldn't even hear the TV Alex shut it of.

"Will you save the idealism for you fairytales and shut up Yuusuke?" I blurted out in a mix of anger and frustration. "Bla Bla. Bla The guy kills a few demons and suddenly he's looking for a soap box to stand on and preach to the world" I said turning my back to the rest and leaving the room. My room was very close to the living room so I had a great spot to listing in on what they where tacking about WITHOUT the smell of roses stopping my over sensitive nose.

"What's eating her" Yuusuke asked.

"Someone should see if she's all right how about you Alex?" she stated

"NO WAY! You know how she gets when you annoy her…" Alex said I herd the others mutter in agreement.

"Well I'm not going in there" Yuusuke mumbled.

"Why don't you figure it out, your the strategist" Alex said probably tacking to Hailey.

"What's a strategist" asked Yuusuke voice.

"A strategist is one who uses there BRAIN" Hailey said trying to sound nice.

"We can't send Kuwabara or missy in you don't know what will happen if she is alone in a room with them." Alex said once again narrowing down the list of people who could see if I was all right.

"I have a very simple con conclusion to this JUST LEAVE HER BE!" Hiei said obviously anode that it took so long to make a simple decision. I smirked and turned to the window to watch the rain fall. I fiddled with the point of my sword (I managed to get it from the house my mind wandered until I fell asleep legs crossed and back to the window. I slept a dreamless sleep in the Inuyasha position. I heard the door open and my ears perked up it was Hiei he walked over and shook me thinking I was still asleep. I opened my eyes and lifted my head to face him. He said nothing but motioned for me to follow him I got up replaced my sword in its sheath, strung it across my back and followed Hiei trough the twisted hallway and down the steps to the basement Alex, Hailey, and missy where standing there Hiei left. Alex gave me a warm smile that covered her face and I gave her that `you do that again and I'll kill you' look and the smile vanished Missy was sitting on the floor day dreaming about boys Hailey was staring at me so I decided to asked her.

"Why the hell are we here?" I questioned suspiciously as she nodded slowly and answered in her soft voice.

"Kurama is going to test our skills to see how far we've come with some `high tech' computer stuff like moving dummies and hologram targets" she said as Kurama came into the room with a laptop.

"Has Hailey informed you all why your here?" he said.

"Yes" we all replied.

"Good so lets get started…Hailey your up first" Kurama then lead Hailey away to be tested every one slumped to the ground but I remained standing. I figured Kurama was testing us in alphabetical order according to our last names. So, I would be after Alex who was after Hailey and missy was last.

"Hiei-Chan why don't you sit with us?" (Hiei-Chan is my nick name) Alex questioned showing those puppy dog eyes that she was famous for "you look like your sooooooooooooooooooooo deep in thought" then I heard missy murmur under her breath.

"Her mind not only wanders sometimes it leaves her completely" she murmured ears perked and I growled

"I heard that you little…" Alex cut me off

"Tear her head of why don't you!" Alex said sarcastically.

"My pleasure this would be an excellent time to test out my dragon" missy knew engulf to catch that glint in my eye that gave away the fact that I was serious. I coiled my hand as if I was holding an invisible stick and conjured a small shadow of the dragon of the darkness flame it was harmless but missy didn't know that. I chuckled under my breath and missy was shivering all over. I thrust the dragon at her and she ran around the room as the harmless 12 inch dragon chased after her. Alex was rolling around on the floor laughing and I was simply watching Missy run franticly around the room "anger management at work" I said as the dragon returned to me and missy was panting from all the running she had done. The dragon burnt itself into my finger and left a harmless tattoo I figured when I brought out the true dragon that I would also have that tattoo on my arm like Hiei. I ended my thoughts as Hailey came trotting out she was breathing deeply.

"What's the matter fox is that rose whip of yours getting to heavy?" I said sarcastically.

"I have no time for you attitude today Hiei-Chan so just leave me be." She said so I simply continued standing. Hailey took a seed out from behind her hair and maid it grow into a rose then she twirled it in her fingers SHE WAS DRIVING MY NUTS! Until FINALY Alex came back out then Kurama lead me away to do my share of the test. He took me to a room and told me to draw my sword, I did so. And (as dramatically as possible) Hiei came out from the shadows he took of his komodo to revile his black no sleeve t-shirt I did the same. Hiei drew his sword from his sheath and went into battle position. I once again mimicked him, Kurama leaned back agenized a wall, nodding for the fight to begin. It was Hiei who mad the first move he ruthlessly lunged at me preparing to make this a quick fight. I blocked his attack and begin one of my own he blocked every attempted I maid to run him through. (There was a magic seal around us so there was no way Hiei or I would die) I stabbed Hiei once but it was nothing that would make a difference in the fight. Finally after what seamed like hours Kurama stopped us there was no winner, but I had advanced to the next test. Hiei re-sheathed his sword and so did I. I picked up my komodo and followed Kurama into another room.

He flipped on the light and I saw three targets, I wondered to my self "Hn maybe there not fire proof" Kurama unlike last time explained what I was to do.

"You are to make use of your fire balls to try and hit the targets, this room is fire proof and the targets will absorb the flames and leave a burn mark where you hit the target." Immediately black fire erupted around my fists. Kurama took a step back as I prepared to through it at the first target, my fire hit it head on and left a clear burn mark right in the center of the target.

"Bull's eye" I muttered under my breath as I stepped in front of the second target. Just as I was about to through it Kurama yelled `stop' I turned around and gave him a curious look he simply directed me to where I had through the first fire ball.

"You have to hit this one on the right side." He said. I nodded and through my fire ball I missed the middle of the target by about an inch.

"And I figure I trough the last one on the left side?" I said Kurama nodded and I went to my place. I once again missed the center of the target by an inch. Kurama gave me a huge warm smile and said I passed. He led me into the room where missy was waiting. Alex and Hailey had obviously gone to bead. I slumped up the stairs after them; I didn't care if Missy failed or if she passed. I just wanted to go to bed!

That night I slept in the weirdest position possible my legs where crossed and my back rested agenized the wall. When morning came I yawned and opened one eye I seen Alex staring at me and jumped a mile.

"Do you know that when you yawn you look like a cat?" she questioned with a rarely seen serious look on her face.

"What's that suppose to be `Alex's fun fact of the day?'" I said sarcastically I gathered up my sword preparing to leave

There where sunny side up eggs French toast and bacon on the table every one else was still asleep and Kurama was humming softly as he cooked. Alex and I sat down at the table, Alex began to stair of into space as Hiei came in looking as if he had bean awake for hours.

"What the hell is she staring at?" Hiei asked me.

"Her mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves her completely" I explained. After every one came in and ate I left to my room after fiddling with the tip of my blade for a wile Alex came in.

"We're going for out training are you coming?" she asked.

"Defiantly!" I said egger for anything that would keep me form dieing of boredom. Alex showed me down stairs and we trained. After about three hours Hailey came down stairs.

"Botan wants to see use" she said quietly. She then left.

"Guess we got to go" Alex said she left the room I re-sheathed my blade and followed Alex into the living room. Botan was there waiting for use.

"Guess what!?!" she said in an overly perky voice. When no one answered she continued "the dark tournament starts in a week!"

"And this is good news why?" missy said forgetting already that we where going to compete.

"Idiot we're competing in the dark tournament!" I exclaimed. Pissed off that she could be SO stupid!

"Yep and your leaving for your boat in 10 minutes" Missy and Hailey exchanged frantic looks and ran into there rooms me and Alex got all the stuff we needed and where outside ready for the others to come in two seconds flat. Missy came out next followed by Hailey, Kuwabara, Botan, Kurama, Yuusuke and Hiei. Botan lead us down to an ocean front where a boat was waiting for use.

"I never road in a boat before!" Hailey said looking happily at the small speed boat. I took use 3 days to get to the island where Koto was there to meet use.

"Good I thought we where going to have to cancel the tournament this year!" she exclaimed happily.

"Why?" Botan asked

"Only one teem showed up before you and the deadline to enter the tournament is today!" she explained

"What other team entered?" Alex asked Koto

"Team nelson." Koto answered

"TEAM NELSON….. As in Crissy Nelson?" Alex said surprised.

"Yep… do you know her?" koto said

"HELL YAH!" Alex said exited that on of her best friends would be in the death tournament. Just then Erin Crissy Ben and two people I didn't know came out to greet us. "Botan do they remember us?" Alex whispered with a shred of distress in her tone of voice.

"Koenma only wiped the memories of humans so they will." Botan said making Alex all in high spirit again. Crissy then ran over and hugged Alex and made a motion to hug me but I ducked. She ended up chasing me around the others TRYING to hug me! Luckily I was almost as fast as Hiei and easily out ran her. Out of breath Crissy returned to her group when we went to the hotel we had our own rooms I took my katana and left the room I went outside and sat on the beach. I was so bored that I ended up thronging fire ball as passing sea gulls getting bored with this quickly me leaned up agents a rock. The sun was setting I missed supper but I didn't care. I hopped up on top of the rock, crossed my legs and fell asleep. I continued this for 3 days strait occasionally practicing my sword play with Hiei. Until one daybreak at what time Botan called me indoors.

It was early in the morning and every one was awake today was the day the dark tournament would begin. Alex was out of her perky mood. She had failed to distinguish the obvious, if Crissy was the only other team in the dark tournament, then we would battle agonized her. Botan lead use to the ring but then left

"Feh, do we have to battle such feeble human" Inuyasha commented

"Hn" I agreed with him

"Appearances can be deceiving" Hailey said

"These are not humans, they are demons" Alex said. We had taken our place at the opposite side of the stone ring team nelson opposite use.

"Team Bishop Verses team Nelson…LET THE DARK TOURNAMENT BEGIN!" Koto screamed into her microphone.

YAY I COMPLETE DTHE 8TH CHAPE! Crissy if I spelt you last name wrong…. I DON'T GIVE A CRAP!
