Chapter 6: Going Insane

"He's coming, and he's VERY upset." You state clearly, your eyes still slightly glazed from the trance.

"I can feel the ki, and it's strong, but who are you talking about?" Hiei's head snapped up, his eyes scanning the dark sky.

"Yan." This simple answer struck fear in your heart, this particular Tengu had been chasing you for as long as you can remember, since you had saved Hiei.

"Yan?" Hiei repeated, a slightly confused look crossed through his eyes.

"How many times do I have to say it? Yes Yan. The Tengu that has been chasing me." You were tired of repeating yourself. "He is getting closer, I………don't know what I can do, I haven't fought anybody this strong in a long time………" The fear grew in the pit of your stomach. He had always been able to strike fear in your heart, even if you were stronger then him, it was just something about him…….

"You are stronger then him right?" Hiei questioned seriously.

"So, what's your point? What good is it if I haven't trained in forever?" You snapped.

"All you have to do is get one good hit on him…" Hiei started.

"No, that WILL NOT work, he can fly, and WE can't. This is great, my mind won't work!!!!!!" You screamed and put your aching head into the protective heat of your hands. Before you knew what was going on, strong arms had wrapped themselves around you, and you were pulled into a strong, warm chest.

"It will be alright." Hiei's voice was calm, "I won't let anything, ANYTHING happen to you." You trusted him.

WFW: Trouble is coming, but what is it? You have serious issues, are you cracking up? Please do not kill me because this chapter is so short, I needed a chapter to go between the one you just read and the one that is coming up next. It just wouldn't work with me in the first draft of the chapter I was working on, I had to scrap it. Oh well, this chapter will help the next chapter make sense.

Kaii: *Sigh.* Another chapter and more mindless ramblings?

Hiei: Yeah, we had this discussion last week.
