"It's about time you guys got here." Koenma states as "Team Urameshi" walks through his office door. "We think we have figured out who we are dealing with and who he intends to sacrifice." At that time George comes running out with a mountain of books in his arms.

"As you can see, we have been working around the clock to find out what, or who, you are up against." Botan sits on the corner of Koenma's desk as she addresses the four. Koenma brings up his screen to show a picture of a huge serpentine demon with dark green scales. The top fourth of his body was almost human in form with a broad chest, strong arms, and a neck holding up a head that seemed fit only for the lowest pits of hell. He had beady eyes that were sunk back in his sockets, yellow reptilian irises with black slits serving as pupils. His nose, or lack there of, was a raised bump that had small slits for nostrils. His mouth housed huge sharp, pointy teeth that would not allow his lips to meet, even with his mouth closed. It looked as if he had a permanent evil smile plastered on his face. On either side of his head there rested two large horns. There seemed to be only one way to describe him….

"Man he is ugly as dog shit." Kuwabara exclaims in his usual eloquent manner.

"His name is Fortinbras. As you probably have guessed, he's an S-Class demon." Koenma informs.

"So, who is his sacrifice?" Yusuke questions, trying not to shiver at the image in front of him.

"We only have a guess. He has been seen around the location of the gates to the Daoine Sidhe." Having said this, Koenma brings up a map of the Makai.

"I don't see it. Where is the D-ne Sid-what's-it?" Yusuke states as he examines the map.

"It is an underground 'kingdom' in this area of the Makai." Koenma points out the location on the map. "My guess is that he is targeting one of the Feys. Their abilities as summoners of elemental spirit animals could probably increase his power greatly."

"You're losing me here. What is a Fey?" Kuwabara asks, scratching his head.

"There's a surprise. Too bad we couldn't lose you literally…and permanently." Hiei states, opening his mouth for the first time.

"Why you little…"

"That's quite enough you two." Kurama interjects. Kuwabara sticks his tongue out at Hiei who just growls.

"To answer your question, Kuwabara, the Feys are a demon clan that have summoning abilities. They, themselves, are only about an A or B-Class demon, but, depending on their talent, they can summon their elemental spirit animals that can turn out to be S-Class. They also can invade dreams for mild mind control…nothing to the extent of Hiei's Jagan. But they are pretty peaceful and stay to themselves." Botan explains. "They are hard to find, explaining why Fortinbras just wonders around. He is probably having a hard time finding the gate."

"So do we know which Fey he is targeting?" Yusuke asks with an overwhelmed expression.

"Well, we have a theory about that…" Koenma begins.

"He's going for the monarchy isn't he?" Hiei asks Koenma with what one could call a worried tone.

"Yes. We think Princess Keket is his target. She seems to be the strongest." Koenma looks at the group, who was looking at Hiei.

"What are you bakas looking at?" comes the annoyed voice of Hiei.

"How did you know?" Yusuke blinks a couple of times in shock.

"It's obvious. Remember, I spend more time in the Makai than all of you put together." comes the ill-tempered reply as if it explained everything.

"So do we know what she looks like? That would be most helpful." Kurama says softly and Hiei gulps. Kurama looks over at the little fire demon with a puzzled look.

"Sorry, but no. If anyone had a picture of any Fey, I'll pay them for it." Koenma leans back in his chair.

"Well that makes our job easier." Hiei glares at Yusuke's sarcasm. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get going." Yusuke shouts excitedly. Kurama just shakes his head as they leave Koenma's office.

"So, Hiei, do you know what spirit demon Keket can summon?" Kurama asks as he walks closer to Hiei through the Makai forest.

"Yes," Hiei replies with no elaboration.

"Well, are you going to tell me?" Kurama pouts.

"What's in it for me?" Hiei says teasingly with a smirk. Kurama's green eyes widen in shock. Hiei has been acting awfully strange lately. Not to mention Kurama's naughty thoughts that went racing through his mind at youkai's question.

"Oh, I'm sure we can work something out my little youkai." Kurama says in a seductive tone along with a wink, causing Hiei to roll his eyes and mutter something similar to 'baka fox thinks he can flirt his way into everything.'

"Phoenix. Pretty powerful demon to try and summon." Yusuke runs up in between the two demons and puts an arm around each of them.

"So, Hiei, you really know a lot about this Keket chick, she must be a pretty close friend of yours. Maybe you can tell us what she looks like, ne?" Hiei scowls as he jerks out of Yusuke's grasp.

"I've heard things. That doesn't mean I know her you idiot." Hiei breaks apart from the group, leading for once.

"Damn if he ain't in a bad mood." Yusuke says in slight annoyance.

"It's just Hiei's way. He means nothing by it. He didn't have a good example to follow when growing up, when he had an example at all. Remember that Yusuke. Your mother may only be there when she sees fit, but that's better than not having one at all, let alone being tossed away like yesterday's garbage." Kurama walks briskly away from Yusuke to catch up with Hiei. "Hiei, wait up!" Hiei pauses to allow the kitsune to catch up so they could walk side-by-side.

"Guys, I don't trust this place." Kuwabara mutters as he looks behing him. Not noticing that everyone else has stopped, Kuwabara runs smack dab into Hiei.

"Watch it baka ningen." Hiei growls.

"Why did we stop?" Yusuke asks as he looks around the dense forest.

"Because we are here." Yusuke looks at Hiei as though he had grown two heads.

"But there is nothing here." Yusuke practically whines.

"It's here, trust me." Hiei was starting to become annoyed by this time. He, then, turns to Kurama. "Well, fox, do your plant thing so we can get this over with." Kurama nods and begins to manipulate the large roots of the Makai tree, causing a large gateway with a long staircase to appear.

"I guess I owe you an apology Hiei. Sorry man." Yusuke says absently as he looks at the stairway in shock.

"Well, let's go. I Kuzama Kuwabara will single-handedly save the Feys." Kuwabara begins rushing down the staircase.

"Hey stupid, stop!" Hiei tries to keep Kuwabara from rushing down any more steps, but his words fall on deaf ears. "Damn baka ningens. Come on, he is going to need our help." Hiei rushes down the stairs, Kurama and Yusuke not far behind. Hiei tackles Kuwabara as a pendulum swings down, barely missing them. The two become entangled and they roll the rest of the way down the stairs.

"That's gotta hurt. They'll definitely feel that in the morning." Yusuke chuckles as he watches the youkai and the human, tangled together, tumbling down the stairs. They finally stop when they hit a wall at the bottom, with Kuwabara landing on the top.

"You guys alright?" Yusuke asks as he and Kurama finally get to their comrades. A long painful moan comes from Kuwabara, but nothing from Hiei.

"Hiei? Talk to me! Hiei?" Kurama screams. A low groan was heard from underneath Kuwabara.

"Get your lard ass off me," comes the muffled voice of Hiei. Kurama helps Kuwabara up to find Hiei face down on the hard ground. The little fire demon rolls over on his back with a moan and Kurama sighs in relief.

"What the hell were you trying to do, kill me?" Kuwabara yelled at the now sitting Hiei.

"Yes, that's why I saved your sorry ass from that pendulum. I thought a murder/suicide would be a much better way to end both our lives. You imbecile. If I am denied the pleasure of killing you, so is everyone else." Hiei stands and brushes off his clothes.

"Now comes the fun part. I hear someone coming." Kurama informs.

"Come guys, you heard Koenma, they're peaceful." Yusuke says arrogantly.

"They're not stupid, they know how to protect themselves." Hiei draws his sword and Kurama summons his rose whip.

"Do you really think this is necessary?" Yusuke gulps.

"Unless you know how to control any elements, I would say, yeah it's necessary." The gang in it's entirety drops down into fighting stances as large doors appear and open.

"You have trespassed in the kingdom of Daoine Sidhe. You are to be brought before the High Council to determine you fate. Drop your weapons and come peacefully and we will see that you are brought before the Council unharmed." A tall, handsome man with white hair and ice blue eyes stated. Even Kuwabara had to admit the man was beautiful. His features were flawless and his tan skin made his eyes looked as if they were glowing. His chest was bare, except for some blue markings, and he was wearing a pair of deep blue pants with gold embroidery, made similarly to Hiei's. His feet were left bare and he had various piercings on his left ear all containing gold hoops of different sizes. A few more men of various heights and coloration surrounded the Reikai agents and they looked from one another to their captors.

"What do we do now?" Yusuke asks.

"You're the one in charge, oh fearless one." Hiei mutters sarcastically.

"I say we fight!" Kuwabara whispers gruffly.

"Wonderful idea…we're only outnumbered by demons who have powers we have yet to come up against. Sorry, but I want to die from a fair battle, not from a ningen's stupid idea." Hiei growls.

"I say we should just go peacefully before the Council. Maybe we can convice them that we are here to help, not to cause harm." Leave it to Kurama to be the logical one.

"I'm with Kurama on this one guys. Besides you did say I was in charge." Yusuke grins, trying to lighten the situation.

"We will go in peace, we have no desire to fight you." Kurama announces to the gathering of what he guessed was the royal guard.

"You will come with me." The white-haired man states in a smooth, melodic voice that was light as a summer breeze and deep as the rumbling of a hurricane. The Reikai detectives follow the tall man, still surrounded by the others. They walk though many caves until the caves open up to a huge cavern.

It was almost as if they were no longer underground. The beauty of their surroundings was breathtaking. Plants of various kinds made the cavern look like the local park during the spring, flowers blooming everywhere, some providing enough light to make it look like mid-afternoon. Underground waterfalls were at various places around the large city in the middle. The pristine castle stood tall among all the smaller buildings and looked as if it was made of white quartz. They all just looked on in awe…all but Hiei of course.

They were lead through the immaculate corridors of the palace until they were brought into a large room filled with older men and women sitting at the front of the room on a platform. The guards bowed to the individuals on the platform.

"What have you brought to us Dante?" A feminine, liquid voice asked, coming from the woman with pink hair and red eyes.

"I have brought you trespassers Lady Councilman." The white-haired man, apparently named Dante, replies.

"I think their fate would be better decided by her highness. She will return momentarily." A man from the panel speaks up. Hiei begins to break out in a cold sweat as he looks around the room. Kurama looks over at his friend with a confused look. Just then, the doors open and everyone bows, except the Reikai agents.

The crowd parts to allow them to see who the visitor is. A beautiful woman approaches them. If they thought Dante was beautiful, they were most definitely not prepared for the vision before them. She was a young thing, not much taller or older than Hiei, with flowing ebony hair and the most arresting violet eyes, her lips were full and perfectly shaped, and her figure slim but curvy in the right places. She was wearing a crimson scarf tied around her breasts, serving as a shirt and a jaggedly cut skirt that reached her knees at the longest points. Her feet were also bare and her ankles were adorned with gold braclets. A gold band encircled her head, with a red jewel resting on her slight widow's peak on her forhead. She finally stood before them and looked them over. Hiei immediately dropped to one knee.

"You're highness." He mutters softly as he brings a fist to his heart in respect. The rest of the Reikai Tenshi look on in shock.

"Hello Hiei, it has been a while."

That's it for this chapter. Please review…PLEASE.

Anyway, I have a question for you guys. I hope this doesn't sound stupid. Does anyone remember how or when Hiei got his black dragon? I can't and I can't find it anywhere. So if someone would please let me know. Thanks.
