As the night sky

watches over me,

I walk the beaten paths

knowing that one day

our paths will cross.

How long have I

been walking?

I cannot say, for in truth,

you see, time

does not matter.

Selfishness is nothing new

and when all is

said and done,

you know I won't

walk forever for you.

And you know,

somewhere here under

the night sky,

when I give up,

our paths won't ever cross.

But for now, I still press on,

climb the everlasting hill,

finding pathways to infinity

and hoping to

meet you again.
