The TragedyIt was a cold cloudy day and the ominous sky was threatening rain for any minute; just like so many other days had been The school day was finally winding down to the last few minutes.(btw i made up a profile for you) You, a girl with long black hair and pail blue eyes that could run chills down almost anyones spine,are around 4'6 which is extremely short for your age group you who is also 14 years old, wernt listening to the teacher but ware staring out the window thinking, 'Oh I wish the bell would just ring already before it starts to rain.'

The last few minutes tick by slowly as if time had stopped. Then the bell finally rings the last time for the week. You yawn and say to yourself, "Its about time!" then you look out the window one last time before you leave and it just so happened that it started to rain. "Darn now I have to walk home in the rain."

You finally made it home, soaking wet, about 15 minutes later. "MOM IM HOME" You yelled through the house even though you knew that your mother wasn't there. "I bet she's out with some of her friends again, just like always." You say with a sigh. "I need to put some dry clothes on" you stated to yourself as you walked into your room. You got dressed then started on your homework not knowing the danger your mother had been in.

~*Later that night.*~ "Mom still isn't home yet?" You asked yourself as you checked the house. There was no sign of your mother. Just then the phone rang and made you jump. Holding your chest You say "Its ok its only the phone..." You then walked to the phone and answered "hello?"

An unknown voice replies "I would watch my back if I were you; you wouldn't want something bad to happen now would you" then the unknown person let a laugh that would give almost anyone a heart attack. You quickly hung up the phone and turned around terrified out of your whits but what you saw when you turned around terrified you 10 times more then anything ever did in your entire life. There was her mother, a corps laying on the floor in a puttle blood from were your mothers head had been cut off was staining the floor "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" you screamed and unearthly scream as you saw your very life disappear before you. Of course her mother wasn't the best in the world nobodies is but this is the only person you had. . . the only one who you could trust. You were now alone in this cold uncaring world.

You not quite knowing quite what to do just stood there in shock for hours it seemed. Hours that were never ending each second pulling you deeper into dispar. Then finally you walked to the phone and called 911. It only took the ambulance 30 minutes to get there but it seemed like a whole lot longer. You watched as Your mother was carried away and just stood there not protesting not asking if you could come with them you just stood there. You didn't want to or feel like moving you knew that you would soon though if you didn't want to be stuck in a foster home. So you ran. you ran as if your life depended on it because in a way it did.
