Hiei was sitting in the tree watching little pathetic ningens passing by. `Hn, they're all wearing green today...' he thought. He jumped down and began walking down the sidewalk. While he did, a little boy ran up to him and pinched him. "Ow! What the hell!?" Hiei said while looking at the little boy. The boy giggled and pointed at him. "Sorry mister, but your not wearing any green today so I had to pinch you!" he said. Hiei gave the boy a strange look. "What is so important about wearing that stupid color?" he asked. The boy gasped and started walking away. "Because today mister, is St. Patrick's Day!!!" he called. Hiei shrugged and continued walking. Now he was going to Genkai's temple. `St. Patrick's day? What the hell is that?' he asked himself.

He arrived and saw Yusuke and Keiko were sitting on the couch talking to eachother. Hiei noticed that the girl was wearing a green blouse and the detective was wearing a green shirt. Yusuke saw Hiei and ran up to him. "Hey pal! Happy St. Patrick's Day! Huh? HEY! Your not wearing any green...so....PINCH!" Yusuke laughed. "OW!" Hiei yelled again. "Why the hell is everybody doing that to me?" he asked Yusuke. Keiko got up and started walking towards the door. "Come on Yusuke! I want to go home." She said. "Kay!" he said while strolling after her. Though while Keiko passed by Hiei, she pinched his arm. "Happy St. Patrick's day!" she said. "Ow..." Hiei mumbled while rubbing his arm. He sat down on the couch and laid down. `Hn, baka ningens'

It was at least an hour later and Hiei awoke from his nap as he heard the door opening. He sat up and saw Kurama and Botan come in smiling. Botan was wearing a green skirt, and Kurama had dark green pants on. They noticed Hiei and waved. "Why, Hiei! Your not wearing green. So..." *pinch* "Yeow!" Hiei peeped. Botan giggled and pinched his other arm. "S-stop it!" he pleaded. He really didn't know why everybody was pinching him, and he really wanted to know. They just laughed and walked father into the temple. Hiei sighed and got up. He walked down the halls until he bumped into Yukina. "Oh, Hiei-sama! Happy St. Patrick's Day! I see your not wearing green material." She said. `Oh, no, here it...' *pinch* "Darn." Hiei muttered. "Hey, who taught this ningen crap to you anyways???" Hiei asked. "I did!" a cheerful Kuwabara said while coming out of the doorway. "Yes, Kazuma-san taught me all about this interesting ningen holiday." She explained. Hiei just sighed and jumped out of a random window.

`Why, why!? Why must everybody pinch me!' Hiei thought. He thought about it for a few more minutes. `I never thought I would do this...but...' Hiei jumped down from the tree and ran towards the temple.

Kuwabara was just about to eat a really good sandwich until Hiei walked into the room. "EEP!" Kuwabara squealed as ducked under the table. Hiei looked at him weird expression. "Baka, ningen, I need your help." Hiei said quietly. Kuwabara peeked his head out of the table. "Need...my...help?" he asked. He nodded and looked at the floor. Kuwabara quietly went over to Hiei. "What do you need help in?" he asked. "In that stupid ningen holiday. Everybody keeps pinching me. Why?" he said. Kuwabara sighed and sat down. Then he explained all about holiday. When Kuwabara finished, Hiei stood up and thanked him. "No problem." Kuwabara said. Hiei then left to go find something he needed.

The whole gang were talking to eachother in the living room. Then Hiei came in and Yusuke jumped at him ready to pinch him. "No.." He said as he lifted his sleeves to show a green wrist band. Everybody smiled and laughed at him. "Too bad theres only two minutes left in the holiday!" Kurama laughed. Hiei looked at them in disbelief. "WHAT?!" he yelled outraged. Kurama pointed at the clock to show 11:58 PM. Hiei cursed and slumped down to the floor. "Hn!" he said. `I had to ask a stupid ningen about this dumb holiday!' he thought to himself.
