But that isn't even the beginning of his worries, during the demon world tournament Yusuke had all the barriers taken down that surrounded spirit world, and in the most recent battle Yusuke lost to someone who had a taste for human bodies.
Now all of the human world has come to ruins, Kurama and Hiei have been captured, and Yusuke is too shell shocked from losing to be any help.
How will he come back from it all?

“So you are the great Yusuke Urameshi?”
“You got a problem with that?”
Andy laughed, this mangy thing standing before her was the Yusuke Urameshi. What a laugh. For years she had searched for proof of his existence, then the tapes in Spirit World that documented his accomplishments showed up and Andy knew this was it. That was the only man who could save them all. This man was more akin to the missing link then anything else.
“Yes, I do have a problem with that. The Yusuke I'm looking for is a great fighter, this Yusuke looks like someone who should be shining my shoes.”
Yusuke started growling at her, hitting his cup on the counter before him. Who the hell was this chick, and how did she know one god damned thing about him? “You know I've had about enough of you now you better get to the point before I throw your ass out of here.”
Andy's delicately arched eyebrow rose, well he had the same fighting attitude she hadn't been expecting that. “Tell me Yusuke, what would Kuwabara think of you if he could see this now?”

That pissed him off; Yusuke hit his hand so hard into the table that the wood splintered off. People started backing up, this was a dark time here on earth, and anyone that could do that to a table could not be trusted.
“Look what you made me go and do; now I'm going to have to find another drinking spot.” Yusuke watched as they left and once they did he put his full attention back to the woman in front of him. She was a tiny girl, with an expression he hadn't seen since before humans were moved to the bottom of the food chain. She was wearing a camouflage uniform just like the ones that belonged to the resistance, but still something seemed off. “Now what the hell do you know about Kuwabara?”
What Andy did next left Yusuke speechless, she reached into her bag and pulled out several tapes that Yusuke hadn't seen in ages. “It took me a long time to find these, and it took me even longer to find a working VHS, didn't you guys convert to DVD's before the end of the world?”

Yusuke quickly grabbed them from her. “How… but?” He scooted them away shaking his head fiercely. “Well if you watched all of them you would see how I lost the biggest battle of them all.”
“That's really not important.”
“How is that not important? The whole world is this way because of me!”
“Because you killed thousands of people, blew holes into the land, and pretty much just claimed dominance over all humanity?”
