Ch.1

"Hikari, Hikari. HIKARI!" shouted Mr.Takashi.

"Huh? What? Oh, sorry Mr.Takashi." said Hikari wrote down on paper.

"It's alright, it's your birthday tomorrow so you must be daydreaming about your party. Well, its time for you to go home. class is over." replied Mr.Takashi.

"Oh, okay, thanks Mr.Takashi. Bye!" wrote Hikari, as she trotted off.

"Hmm, it been awhile since that day three years ago. Ever since that day, I studied every martial arts and sword technique in the whole United States and learned to control my powers. It has increased with great strength. And now, its time for me to move back to Japan, and get far away from Yukio." thought Hikari. She reached her home; her family had already packed everything for her to move to Japan. "Its time?" telepathically spoke to her father. "It is time replied her father. She was to move to Japan by herself, because he family was not the target. Hikari arrived on at the airport and was on the plane to Japan.

(Meanwhile in Japan, Koenma send Botan to go get Yusuke and the team.)

"Botan, call Yusuke and the others for me. I have an important mission for them" spoke Lord Koenma.

"Yes, sir! Might I ask what the mission is about?" asked Botan.

"I tell you when they all come." said Koenma.

"Yes, Lord Koenma, sir. I'm on my way!" said Botan.

Author's POV

"YUSUKE! YOU JERK!" yelled Keikyo.

"What did I do this time?" yelled Yusuke.

"You were suppose to help me pick out a dress for the dance!" said Keikyo.

"But it's boring! And you're going to wear it only once anyway." complained Yusuke.

"Urameshi, are you stupid?" shouted Kuwabara as he walked toward them.

"NO! BUT YOU ARE!" shouted Yusuke.

"SHUT UP! I can't believe you actually want to ditch a chance to watch Keikyo try on dresses." responded Kuwarbara dreamily.

" Shut it Kuwabara! Let's see you try standing four hours of Keikyo trying on dresses and complain." Retorted Yusuke

"HEY! I wouldn't take so long, if you helped me judge one that was good" shouted Keikyo.

"Humans, are always bickering over nothing. How pathetic." Mutters Hiei, walking down the street toward them.

"What you say, shrimp?" yelled Kuwabara.

"Nothing, you oaf." replied Hiei.

"What are you bickering about now?" asked Kurama, walking along.

Kurama's POV

" Man, let's all just shut up and go do something else." said Yusuke.

"Ooh!" shouts Botan, as she ran into Hiei and fell on him.

"Oh! Sorry Hiei!" says Botan, blushing as she gets off.

"N-no problem." Mutters Hiei, turning a bit red himself.

"HA-HA! You got squashed! "shouts Kuwabara.

"Shut up, you brainless oaf!" Hiei scowls coldly.

"Listen up, gang, Koenma told me to call all of you to his office now!" said Botan.

"What is the mission about?" I asked.

"I don't know, he says he'll tell us, when we're all there." replied Botan.

"Hmm, that's odd, usually he'll tell you what the mission is." says Yusuke

"Yes, that is peculiar. It must be important" mutters Hiei.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go." shouts Keikyo

"Wait, is she even allowed to go?" asks Kuwabara.

"She went with us before, I don't see why not." I replied.

(At Koenma's office.)

"Ah, you're here. I have a very important mission for all of you." Spoke Koenma.

"What? Change your diaper." chuckles Yusuke.

"Grr..no you dimwit! A new sprit detective is going to arrive to join you," said Koenma.

"What? Another idiot is going to enter our group? Who is he?" said Hiei.

"First, of all it's a girl and I wouldn't say she's and idiot." says Koenma.

"A girl is entering our group?" I asked.

"Yes, she is arriving at your school Yusuke. She's very strong, in fact she's the descendant of Sachi," says Koenma,

" Who's Sachi?" asked everybody.

"Yeah, who is Sachi? I never heard of this person in our school readings." said Keikyo

(The whole story re-explained)

"I heard of this story, but it was a decade before I was born." I said.

"Yes, but the curse is still going on, and we have to put a stop it. Too many spirits are living on earth." Said Koenma.

" You mean they have unfinished business?" asked Yusuke.

"Yes and no. They're restless; they want Kana's line of descendants to be dead." says Koenma.

" So, how are we going to know its her." asked Yusuke.

"Hmm.I don't know. But keep an eye out." said Koenma

" Does this mission require all of us to be in? Is it really that important that all of us have to be in on it?" I asked.

"Yes it does. That's why I enrolled you, Hiei, and Botan in Yusuke's school. Don't worry, you'll be in all of Yusuke's classes." said Koenma.

" Great, I'm going to be surrounded by more buffoons!" scowled Hiei.

(Back to Hikari's POV")

" I'm here, back where the legend began. How cursed it is." thought Hikari. She carried her things off and went to look for a place to live.

"What does it take to find a damn apartment here?"thought Hikari.

"Excuse me, but can you help me find a cheap place to live?" Hikari wrote down and gave it to the real estate man.

" Why, yes maem, but I must warn you, its haunted!" said the real estate man.

"Really? What haunts it?" Hikari wrote down.

" Our agency doesn't exactly know, but past residents say they feel like they're being watched and that something is always creeping in the dark. They say there's just something in that house that spooks them, but they just don't know what. Maybe, because its so near the forest." said the Real estate man.

" I'll take it. How much is it?" Hikari wrote down.

"Are you sure?" asked the Real Estate man.

"Yes, I'm positive." wrote Hikari.

"Alrighty, then lets get you ready for the paperwork." replied the Real Estate man.

(a couple weeks later at Yusuke's school)

"Man, I hate school. I always get detention." groaned Yusuke.

"Well, I've been here for a couple weeks and it's been a bore. Not to mention, buffoons coming to pick a fight with me because they think they have an advantage." Hiei replied coldly.

"You think that's tough, girls are always swarming around me like bees." Kurama muttered quietly.

"Hmm, I suppose your right." said Yusuke.

"Hey guys! What's up Urameshi!" shouted Kuwabara.

" How can you be so cheery about school?" murmured Yusuke.

"Because he doesn't get in trouble as much as you do." replied Botan.

"Hmm, what do you know!" retorted Yusuke.

"Shut up, Yusuke!" shouted Keiykyo.

Author's POV (the next morning)

"Class we have a new student, her name is Hikari Sachi. Please welcome her." said the teacher.

"Hey,Urameshi,the new girl has the same name as the person Koenma told us about." whispered Kuwabara.

" Don't `ya think I know that? We'll talk about it a t lunch." replied Yusuke

" Yusuke and Kuwabara, do you have something you like to share with the class?" warned the teach.

" UH NO SIR!" both of them said.
