TK13: Okies on to the story.

Chapter 2

Allysion woke up, her head pounding like a drum. She licked her lips and winced; she had drawn blood. "Heh, must have been out for a long time." Gently she sat up and opened her eyes. It was dark and there was no light.

"No, no not the light. Not the dark, nor the light." She chanted. She could feel herself collapse inside. "I can't, I can't do this!" she screamed in her mind.

Then, out of nowhere, a memory came back from when she was ten years old. It was old, this memory and she was very fond of it. Often she would think back to the memory and laugh about what happened that day.

"Come on Sensei, fight back!" Allysion screamed. She was back in Sensei's dojo. She blocked a kick and threw a punch. It continued that way till Allysion found an opening and threw her Sensei into the Japanese style door. (Meaning it's made of paper of whatever the crap is. Okay back to the show before I get pissed off.)

The door crumpled and fell apart as Genkai was blasted into the side yard. Allysion became alarmed

"Sensei!' she screamed. She ran to the open side, dodging bits of wood and paper still left from the ceiling.

"Sensei you oka-" Allysion was cut off as Genkai jumped up and punched her in the face. She too shot back till she hit the wooden wall back in the dojo and crumpled on the floor.

Allysion sat up against the wall as Genkai began to walk to her. She felt something trickle out of her mouth and she reached up with a hand and touched it. It was her blood.

A shadow covered her hand and she looked up; it was Genkai with no marks of the beating that she had took

"Never let your guard down, idiot. You're quite fast and a good fighter, probably one of my best. But that sympathetic crap that you keep shoving down people's throats is going to get you killed. So what if someone gets hurt in battle. You going to stop fighting and ask if they need a band-aid? A softie. That's all you are. Your nothing but………..that's right you're nothing. A good for nothing girl." She said.

Allysion sat their trembling, her eyes not revealing any emotion but anger and hatred as they were shadowed by long bangs. "Shut up! Shut up you old hag! Nobody cares what you think. Nobody you ugly old woman, nobody!' she screamed hoarsely as she launched herself at Genkai. Genaki turned and dodged her attacks. She kept moving, forcing Allysion to keep attacking; and while she did, she began to talk.

""Ah but you care: you cared that I said you were nothing. You care. So are you lying when you said no one cares about what I am saying?"

Allysion's punches and kicks came faster but her mind was elsewhere as she too talked back. "Yes I do care. And you know what? You told me yourself that those that care even in battle are the greatest. So I care Sensei, I CARE!" she screamed. She caught Genkai's arm and threw her again into the big oak tree.

The master of the spirit wave crumpled into a ball of pain. Allysion jumped after her Sensei and kept attacking. She began to lessen her attacks as she saw that Genkai wasn't responding to the pain.

Backing off, she began to circle her sensei like a tiger circling its prey. She was surprised when Genkai made a motion with her right hand. Allysion sighed deeply. She knew what that sign meant to well. `That's weird; usually that sign is to fetch her something and when she pretends to be dead and when I get to close she then tries to kill me but this time she didn't do anything except lie dead like a sack of wet playdoh (A/N I found out when I was little you cant do a thing with wet playdoh so I've decided to use it in here. Sorry for the randomness.)

Gently she laid Genkai on the back porch and climbed up beside her sensei and waited patiently for her to speak. "Very good. You've learned you lesson I hope."

"WHAT! I slaved practically the whole day trying to beat you and then you pretend to play dead, confess my inner most feelings, and then go and say I had better learned my lesson!!! Jeez you old lady, you really need to join the real world sometime soon `cause if that was a lesson than it sucked big time." But she softened her voice considerably. "I really I have no idea what your talking about. Perhaps you would care to enlighten me?"

Genkai chuckled, the sound like shattered glass. "Ah, you're hopeless. But for one last time I shall open your eyes. What have you learned from this fight?"

The answer dawned on her before she had time to blink.

"Heh..." Allysion bowed her head before finishing her answer. "You wanted me to trust myself, always, no matter if its battle or not." She added something else before Genkai could reply. "Also, you wanted me to quit holding back. `Your emotions are the key to everything and the balance of nothing. You have to keep the balance or be swallowed whole by who we thought we once were. You were right," she opened her eyes and grinned at Genkai. "I'm nothing without the key to myself."

Allysion quit moving and thought about the memory and what she had learned that day. "What did I mean? I confused myself and Genkai that day. Grrrr. Why does everything have to be so frustrating?!" she yelled out loud not feeling a person's presence nearby.

TK13: OOOH. Creepy and a cliffy I love both!

Kurama: Shouldn't you be thanking your reviewers??

TK13: GAHHHH! HOW COULD I BE SO INCONSDIERATE!!!??????

Kathrine Reverie: Kudos for you!!! I learned something new today!!! *tosses Kurama plushy that's wearing leather pants* I hope you like it!!! And I found all the mistakes (I hope) and fixed them.

Pancakes: Was sup Sarah!!! Sorry, I know I'm being a total nerd……. Anyway her eyes are going to stay violet even though they're a both purple and pink. I really don't care. *tosses a Hiei plushy without a shirt* Hope you review again.

cysso: Alright just don't hit me on the arm again, okay!!!!!????? *tosses a Jin plushy in Christmas costume* Review again or I will be the one that will have to get physical on you, got that???? And don't you dare whine that this chapter was too short because I have 8 other pages to type for chappie three. And if they want to see the light of a computer screen besides mine, you WILL not whine or hurt me in any way.
