Akia: Well I hope my last chapter was interesting enough for ya.

Hiei: You realize you're an idiot right.

Akia: Oh hi Hiei when did you show up? And no why am I an idiot?

Hiei: 1) You reviewed yourself, 2) In that review you told yourself you suck, and 3) you wrote this story in the first place.

Akia: Gee, I knew it sucked but I didn't know you hated it that much. Oh well I'm still gonna write it,

Hiei: Baka Onna

Akia: Yeah, I know anyway please say the disclaimer.

Akia: Thank you. And Now for Hidden Fear, Chapter 5, “Meeting His Friends and A New Home.”

 

LAST TIME:

After another 3 hours they came upon a large hole in a tree. Hiei grabbed her hand and pulls her through it.

 

BEGINNING CHAPTER 5 BEGINNING CHAPTER 5

 

`Thud,' That was the sound she made when they hit the other side. She hadn't noticed it then but a certain fire apparition was face down in the dirt; with her on his back.

 

“Get. Off. Of. Me. Now. Onna!” She looks down and panics. “I'm so sorry sir. Are you alright?” He gets up and looks at her. Concern was written all over her face. He turns around and starts walking away. She looks at him and follows; staring at the ground below her.

 

They reached a large temple with at least 50 steps infront of it. This was Genkai's temple; she could tell from Hiei's description. “ Get moving, Onna.” he said. She looks up for a moment, “Yes sir,” came her reply. She climbed the steps without a single complaint.

When they came to the top, Hiei opened the door to the large temple. Inside were several people sitting in the living room. “ Where is Genkai?” she heard him ask no one in particular. A boy with shoulder length red hair and green eyes replied, “ Well, it's nice to see that you finally decided to come back, and I see you've brought a guest.” He stands up and walks toward Akia. “ My name is Suichi Minnamino (let me know if I spelled that right) but you may call me Kurama,” he pulls a rose from be hind him and tries to hand it to her, “ What is your name?” She hears Hie growl lightly and looks up at him as if asking his permission. He nods slowly then says, “ Her name is Akia.” She takes the rose just as he grabs her arm and says, “Come on onna, You have to talk with someone else first.” She bows respectfully and then allows Hiei to pull her down the hallway to the last room on the left.

When they get there Hiei tells her to wait by the door so he could talk with her first. She nodded and he left into the dark room. After about ten minutes and elderly lady came out of the room with Hiei right behind her. She bowed at her and the woman just looked at her. “What is your name?” “ It is Akia ma'am.” The old woman smiled and said “ I am Genkai, you may stay here as long as you abide by the rules.” “Yes ma'am.” “We'll talk more tomorrow. For now I want you to go meet the others and get some rest.” Akia smiles a faint, empty smile and bows again. “ Thank you and it is very nice to meet you.”

 

After a few hours she had gotten to know everyone and been given a tour of the house. Now she was helping Yukina make dinner. So far, besides Hiei, she was the closest to her. She was happy to have made such a great friend. Hiei had already told her about Yukina being his sister. He also said that if she told her he'd make her life a living heck. She couldn't understand why he didn't want her to know. Yukina had already considered him like a brother even though she knew about his past. Akia didn't know about his past but she was sure it wouldn't matter to her either. Oh well, she was sworn to secrecy.

After she finished making dinner she went into the room she now had to share with Hiei. He said there was a couch in the corner, she guessed that's were she would be sleeping. Hiei came in a few minutes later with a plate full of food. She was surprised to see him put it in her lap. She looked at him and cocked her head and he said one word before he sat on the windowsill. “Eat.” And she did, but she couldn't even finish half of it and he guessed it was because she wasn't allowed to eat so much before so he didn't push it. He took her plate before she could even stand up and put it in the kitchen.

When he came back she had already fallen asleep on the couch. He sighed and picked her up; laying her gently on the bed before retreating out side to the nearest tree limb. He knew she would enjoy spending the rest of her life there with him.

 

Akia: Can someone please tell me what is so funny about peanut butter.

 

Hiei: Onna, What kind of a question is that?

 

Akia: Well I just wanted to know because I came home yesterday and went to my mom's room with a spoonful of peanut butter. She opened the door and eyed the spoon so I said “peanut butter” and she busted out laughing.

 

Hiei: Your mother is as crazy as you are.

 

Akia: I know that's were I get it from. Anyway I have to start writing my next chapter. I have nothing else to do since I threw up at school today.

 

Hiei: Baka Onna.
