Hiei and Bree- Chapter One =Old Friends

Bree Mills walked down a path in Spirit World. She wore all black with her sword right now. She always did. Bree wanted to go see her old friend, Botan.

"Oh, my! Botan?" she exclaimed when she got to her destination. "Huh? Who are- wait. Bree?" Botan said. "Yup! It's me. Been awhile, huh?" Bree asked. "Yeah. Anyway, whatcha doing here?" she replied. "You told me on the phone about 4 new Spirit Detectives?" "Oh, yeah! Silly me! I forgot! I'll be back soon! See ya!" Botan said and ran off.

Yusuke Urimeshi was half-asleep at home when Botan got there. "Yusuke! Get up, baka!" she yelled and hit him over the head with her oar. He was up immediately. "Whatcha want, Botan? I was a little busy." he asked, a little dazed. Then Botan sighed and said, "Yusuke, there's someone I'd like you to meet. She's a Spirit Detective, too. Meet me in Spirit World at 4:00 today. Bring Hiei, Kurama, and Kuwabara with you. Got it?" "Yeah. See ya at 4, Botan." Yusuke replied. "See ya then!"

"Who are we gonna meet?" Hiei asked when it was 4. "I dunno. Botan said that she's a Spirit Detective, just like us." "Urimeshi! You better not be wasting my time!" Kuwabara (I'm just gonna call him Kuwa from now on, k?)

exclaimed. "I guess we'll just see then, now won't we?" Kurama said.

"Bree, these guys are a real handful. You sure you can handle them?" Botan asked. "Yeah, I-" Bree was cut off by doors opening. Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama, and Kuwa were standing at the entrance and acknowledged Botan.

They then looked at a certain short, black-haired, crimson-eyed, girl. Bree. "Jeez, Hiei! She looks a lot like you!" Yusuke stated. Then, Botan started the introductions.

"Bree, these are Yusuke; Kuwa; Kurama, a half-kitsune demon; and a fire demon like yourself, Hiei." Botan said. Both Hiei's and Bree's jaws dropped at this. "Y-you're a f-fire demon?" Bree stuttered. "Yeah. Well, half fire demon, really." Hiei replied.

"Oh, my god! I'm half fire demon, too! My other half is Koorime." She said. Hiei's jaw dropped again. "Me, t-too." He said, almost mute. "You know, Bree, you should hang out with Hiei sometime. I mean it!" Botan urged. "Fine, fine… Hiei, you heard what Botan said, right?" Bree asked. "Yeah, I did. You wanna?" Hiei answered. "Sure!"
