In was a bright sunny spring day. A perfect day for a picnic. So everyone on the team got together with their signifact other and met at the park. They sat and ate food. Each one complaining or bragging about their life. All but one that is. One lone member stayed in a huge tree. His eyes going between two beings that where everything to him.
One was a small woman with aqua colored hair. Her kind loving crimson eyes were on her fool of a fiance. Her smile could light up a lone dark heart. His twin Yukina. His sweet sister.
The other was the other half of his soul. Long hair the color of his roses, Eyes the color of evergreens, A mouth so soft and sensual, hands that were slender, legs that were so long and strong. A chest that had a perfect six pack, and was so very smart. Eyes that held miscief. When he laughed it sounded like a chours of ningen birds. Yes he was everything to the small man in the tree.
He would die for his mate or sister. There was no question. One reason why he was in a tree standing guard while they talked and laughed with their friends. Hiei wanted nothing more thatn to see his loved ones happy.
The carrot top then asked everyone if they all wanted to see a movie. Everyone except Hiei agreed. Hiei knew that his fox would talk him into coming any ways.It was just how he was. So in a few minutes The red-head was in the tree next to him. A slender hand resting on Hiei's shoulder.
" Koi, lets go with them. It will be fun." He said giving a sweet smile.
"Hn." He replied narrowing his ruby eyes.
" We hardly see our friends any more. Hiei lets go on and see the movie. Then later i will make it up to you." He said giving off a seducative grin.
" Ok hentai fox. But i will be on top." He said and jumped down.
The angile fox landed next to him. Thenthey joined their friends and proceded to walk to the theater. Yusuke and his wife where ahead of the group. Botan was next to them chatting away. Kuwabara and Yukina were inbetween and having their own conversation about birds. While Hiei and Kurama were behind them all. The two not saying a word. Nothing had to be said for the two to enjoy themselves.
When they entered the entrance the ground started to move. Hiei was inbetween his loved ones and grew scared. Then it happened the roof broke off and was heading their way. Everyone else ran out. Kuwabara turned to help Yukina but she would be dead before he got there. Hiei wanted to save her. But what about his fox? Worried eyes scanned towards his love.
" Just get her out of here." He said.
" Not with out you."
" Go Hiei i shall be fine." He then said.
Then the flying shadow grabbed his sister and met with the other outside. Then turned around when he heard the sound of something heavey landing and the sound of broken bones. then on the ground with a piece of ceiling on him was his only love. Kurama was dead and Hiei had not saved him. He failed him.
