Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Hiei's Mirror ❯ Hiei's Mistake ( Chapter 12 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
I went back to the last chapter and changed the implied rape into a rape scene, so if you read it before and don't like rape scenes, don't reread it. And, no, I have no intention of writing another fanfic where Kurama gets kidnapped and raped then Hiei has to save him, or Hiei gets kidnapped then Kurama has to save him, then they confess their soppy gay love toward each other and blah blah blah! Hiei and Kurama are not gay!!! Sometimes I read fanfiction where they are, but I do not write it. So if you are reading this for some gay love scene at the end, stop reading right now. Well, actually, please don't. I like readers, slightly deluded or not. I'm sorry if my ranting offended you, but it's my view of the truthhere. Thank you if you very much if you actually read this paragraph.

Hiei slipped quietly out of the house, pondering briefly how wise it was to run from people trying to help him (as far as he knew, anyway). Deciding it didn't matter, he began to pad down the street, his black clothes blending into the night perfectly - the only part pf him that was visible was his face, with his hands in his pockets. Dammit, why'd Kurama have to go and get kidnapped, anyway?, he thought, still refusing to think instead, Dammit, why'd Kurama have to get killed or kidnapped, anyway? After all, Kurama was not dead. He couldn't be. Who was going to control Kurama's little sister (the loony called Sunia) with no Kurama?
He glanced up from the ground - it was easier to stare at then the general area around him while he was thinking. Here he was. After all, you couldn't get to the Demon World from just anywhere. And, after all, you couldn't find information on demons just anywhere. It'd be easier to talk to some of the old informant he used to have to deal with. (He shuddered at the thought. Those bakas.)
He glanced up from the street (no sidewalk in this neighborhood. Not that he'd use them anyway…) at the tall tree that loomed above him. He jumped, easily landing on a branch near the middle of the tree. A portal yawned large in front of him, inviting in.

Kurama glanced again at the diary, still not sure of what he was seeing. Luckily, the woman (whom he had learned was named Sophia) had put him not only in a room adjacent to her own, but had her diary in her room, complete with a full explanation of why she had him as a prisoner when it had been Goouna who had originally captured him.
Pushing thoughts of the wretched woman who raped him, he closed the diary and contemplated how to leave the mansion. He had to get back to Yuske, Kuwabara, and Hiei. Especially his family, and especially Hiei. Hiei didn't handle pressure well. Last time he had been submitted to defeat (well, almost defeat), wounds, and uncertainty, there was no ice cream or sugar to be found for miles as soon as Hiei realized that ice cream and sugar could lessen those feelings. With all the nearby ice cream now locked up, Hiei wouldn't have it to help him deal with his problems. More than likely, he would take it out on lawyer, or inanimate objects, or some poor tree if they where all lucky.
Kurama sighed, thoughts of his ridiculous little friend mixing with his feeling toward his current predicament and coming out pretty neutral. His current predicament being hanging upside down in the hall outside his captor's bedroom, with his captor's pet deceased plants writhing on his trapped body. Sighing again, he began to think of ways to get down.

“Waddaya mean he's gone?”
“I'm telling you, he was here five minutes ago,” Yuske insisted, struggling with all of his dignity to hold his ground against Kuwabara's sister. “I left to get some more ice cream - you know how he thinks it's comfort food - and when I came back, he was just… not there anymore.”
“Comfort food? The little shrimp eats comfort food? He's a demon. That's not dignified,” Jin objected, obviously irked by this. (note: i'm sorry about his speech. i haven't read or watched any episodes with him in it in ages, and i've completely forgotten how he really talks. so i made him talk normal. also, sorry for calling hiei a shrimp. jin did it, not me! ) Yuske and Kuwabara's sister glared at him, and Jin, for whom depth and insight was a rare and alien thing, realized it was time to shut up.
“We're going to have to find him, and soon. He's completely reckless at times like this; we can't afford to lose him right now - not so soon after losing Kurama.” Yuske said quietly, and even Jin was temporarily put out by his serious tone. Koenma, Botan, Kuwabara's sister ( i can't for the life of me remember her name), Jin, tiny Sunia, and Kuwabara all nodded in agreement, and they all (except Sunia) began to make plans to find and attack Goouna, and first find Hiei.

The next chapter's part of the starting climax. Sorry if thelast bit was a bit too serious!
Anyway. please review. And if you do, please tell me what Kuwabara's sister's name is. I can't find anything that mentions her!
