Hiei: The Forbidden Child

I must accept what I am;

The cold- hearted bastard child

of long ago. My sister is a lamb;

tender and mild,

whilst I am the darker brother.

The evil in my stone heart

makes my love smother,

and darkens the beautiful art.

My grief- stricken madness soils all that once was good,

turning honest love to torrid hate.

The winter of my tempest could

distract me from blessed fate.

I am the Forbidden Child, no pensive verse

can lift the load from my shoulders, this is my curse.
