Chapter one:
How It all Started.
The day darkness came was the day Light died away. Everything gone wrong. The world was nothing but chaos. Without good the world would be in destruction. Everyone was in confusion. They needed the yin to their yang; yang was the yin to their yang. The balance was broken. Everyone died out only to be saved. We were the saviors. This is our story.
My name is Fugaki Tenshi, and mine is Yami Tenshi. We fell to our knees when we fought against the darkness. Our friends were there to help us stand up against it and fight to the death bloody and torn Yami was the first to fall into the slumber, I was the only one left.
In desperation I sealed the darkness away in hopes of it never to return and In my dieing breathe I did not die, I did not age but, I slept only to awaken when Yami Awakened. We became a figment of history tossed away into the darkness never to be remembered again.
We slept dreaming of the day we would be happy. Our souls danced in the darkness of man reflecting them reaching out for help but having our attempts to become futile. We waited and waited in the shadows hoping to be remembered.
Then, as if by a stroke of luck we saw them, our equals our descendants. And even as we write this down on the white paper spilling the ink on this paper the ink forming word the words our past and future. All we can do is hope.
In the darkness of the night where all the shadows came out to have their fun two girls lay on the floor sleeping soundly unaware of the events to happen. It was a silent night you could hear the others breathing as they drew in the kiss of life ignorant of what was being spun together by the spiders of deceit each one weaving the girls life and story so all can see as they dangled together spinning threads of their lives.
Everything was quiet once again until one of them woke up in sweat. Fear was etched in the girls honey brown eyes as she darted her eyes around the room trying to make out through the darkness what it was she heard and felt. Silently getting out of the blankets fear running through her veins each step feeling as if it was many centuries since she moved. Gracefully walking towards the light flicking it on turning around slowly to only let out a blood-curdling scream.
The girl on the floor quickly woke with a start at hearing the scream seeing her sobbing friend's form hunched on the ground. `Stephanie! What happened?' Dark brown eyes searched answers through her friends face trying to see why she was holding her head in agony.
`Jessica…the shadows they…they…spoke! Jessica I can hear them in my head arguing!' Stephanie let out a heart wrenching sob grabbing head repeating stop over and over again. Jessica just watched in horror at her friend only to hug her speaking words of comfort to her.
`Stephanie…it's been two weeks since it happened…we couldn't do anything…it wasn't your fault! We never saw it coming! How were we to know that inside there was a group of people dieing?' Jessica watched silently as her friend stopped crying.
`Can…I just take the tranquilizers?' Desperation was etched into the girls face as her honey brown eyes held nothing. *What happened to you? Your eyes were filled with life now it's almost as if…you're a hollow shell…*
`No. Let's go downstairs and eat okay?' Stephanie just merely nodded getting up hugging herself putting on a black robe, as did Jessica.
Stephanie's Point of View on this
She doesn't believe me…. I hear them overnight always whispering sweet lies into my ears poisoning me like a moth drawn to the moon. Something's happening now…something bad…I can feel as each breath I take and each step that death is waiting for us in the shadows wanting back what we saw.
Jessica…my best friend…ever since the `incident' we've changed. My sight on life developing each passing day…the darkness trying to envelope me trying to show me their lies…wanting me to be lifeless and dark as dark as their soul is…
They can have my soul they already marked me as there's.
End Point Of View
Normal Point of View
Jessica walked down the staircase holding her friend's hand to assure her nothing was wrong, even in the darkness the truth is seen. Stephanie jumped at hearing the dong of the small Grandfather clock lying on the wall above the fireplace. `Shh, it's okay Steph. It's just the clock.' Jessica spoke in a hushed voice carefully turning a lamp on.
Stephanie just stopped and started at the flames licking hungrily and greedily at the wood. `Jessica? You can feel it can't you? Even the fire tells you.' Jessica just stiffened agreeing with her friend lightly. `Want some hot chocolate?' Jessica looked at her friends appearance wincing at how thin she had gotten.
Stephanie's hair was in messy ponytail strands of hair framing her pale face, dark bags under her eyes, a jersey clinging to her form showing her ribs. Jessica tried not to cry at the site of her friend she looked as if she would break. Jessica knew she looked like her friend maybe thinner, wearing the same outfit.
`Transfer?' Jessica snapped out of her daze and looked at her friend tucking her hair behind her pierced ear seven holes on each side. `Transfer? Transfer where?' Jessica asked her while pouring hot chocolate into a glass mug, watching her friend open the black envelope reading aloud.
"Dear Jessica and Stephanie,

Stephanie finished picking up her mug taking a drink, smiling at Jessica, `We're going to Japan today!' Jessica looked at her friend in happiness at seeing her smile. `Let's start packing.' Jessica smiled looking at the clock flashing in bright red 12:05 AM.
Jessica and Stephanie smiled walking upstairs to call their parents who were at a spa for the week.
