Chapter4: Can't Repeat

“Oh, my god! You and him …TOGETHER?!! Wow! Aww and he saw you in your nightwear!” Keiko said in a cutesy voice. Botan and Yukina laughed. Everyone was at the mall. They had decided to skip school that day, and Botan had decided to call in for a personal day. The guys were getting food from Wendy's in the food court. As this was going on, Sapphire decided it to be the best time to tell the girls.

“Hn. Fox, what is up with you and my cousin?” Hiei asked while they waited on line. “Ummm … Well, we are kind of going out in a way… And before you ask me when, it only was declared as of last night,” Kurama said, knowing they'd all be thinking that they were doing a little something- something in one of their rooms. “Oh, and I bet you two were doing something in there …” hinted the detective. Yusuke would have liked to keep on annoying him and trying to embarrass him, but they were up.

“Can we get 10 #1s all no onions with 5 cokes and 3 Dr. Peppers. Then we would like 8 medium sized frosties. Oh, and make the meals biggie sized. That will be all thank you.” Kurama told the astounded cashier lady. After the guys paid for the food, the guys started moving to the table the girls were sitting at. When they saw the girls in view, they noticed Sapphire was slouched in her seat with a beat red face as the girls were laughing at her. Then all four girls looked up to see the guys staring. The boys went over and sat down. They handed Keiko a burger and fries, with a coke, then Botan got the same thing, so did Yukina. Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama got a burger with fries. Yusuke and Kuwabara got the other two and last cokes. Now what was left was Sapphire. She got all the rest of the food. She even finished it before the others were done. Then Yukina and the other girls started making fun of her again.

“Kurama, they won't leave me alone. Not even my cousin and she is supposed to be nice to me. But no, she has to act like herself like when we were kids. Like I remember a time when we were little and she smashed a bat over my head because I was cheating in a game of cards. I remember and it hurt like hell because it was a wooden bat that broke in half. Then a half hour later she got mad at me again and this time she used a metal bat which got indented from the impact. Now there is a good reason why I am weird, but still SHE IS BEING A BIG MEANY!” Sapphire at first was talking in a whiny voice, but at the end she stood up and yelled all while pointing an accusing finger at Yukina.

Now Yukina was the one slouched in her seat from embarrassment. “Awe, come on! We were like 9 years old and she was getting on my nerves!” Yukina exclaimed trying so hard not to laugh at their still shocked faces. “Then there was a time when Webster here got mad at me, Pyro, Sneaks, and Jello just cause we put whipped cream in her hand while she was sleeping and then we made her put it all over her face. She beat the crap out of us just cause a lil' bit of harmless fun. Oh, I have pictures! Who wants to see?” Sapphire said, all of a sudden becoming happy. Everyone nodded their head except Yukina. She didn't want to see pictures from her past.

Sapphire was pulling out the pictures as they gathered around. There was a picture with Yukina strangling Sapphire. The guys and girls eyes were wide. Never had they seen Yukina so abusive. Then there was a picture with Yukina wearing a black tee with dirty black capris. Yukina was standing on top of 3 unknown girls. She was flipping off the camera. The one thing though that had caught their attention was the shiner on her eye. It was a huge black bruise covering her left eye. But the uneasiness melted away when they realized she must have gotten into a lot of fights. Then there was a picture of Sapphire holding a very huge snake right in Yukina's face. “Oh, I forgot about Cody the Snake! He was so cute!” Sapphire exclaimed as she looked at the picture.

After the pictures were shown, Yukina was blushing from being made fun of. “Hn. Leave her alone,” Hiei said to the others who were making fun of his sister. Sure, he wanted too, but he saw how she wasn't enjoying in the fun. The others stopped, knowing fully well what he was capable of. Yukina gave him a grateful look.

When they reached home, they were tired. It was 8:30 at night and they were planning on going to school tomorrow. Sapphire went into her room and took out her cell. She needed to make three very important phone calls . . . Which happened to be on the topic of the Talent Show. She dialed in a number. “Hey, Pyro. It is me Ripper. You still play drums?” Sapphire asked. After that phone call, she made two more, on the same lines as that, but didn't ask if they played drums.

(Skip ahead to Monday, April 7)

“Hey guys ...Ummm …I will be staying after school today, so I will see `Ya later ok?” Sapphire said at her locker. Today was boring. Nothing much really happened. Just the usual teachers yelling at you for not paying attention, school fights, and so on. She even got homework …`More alone time for me and Kurama then.' Sapphire thought.

Sapphire waited outside of the school with her guitar she somehow managed to sneak into the school without her friends noticing it. That is when she saw her friends, Pyro, Sneaks, and Jello. “Ok, now that you guys are here, we need to go to the auditorium for auditions. Thank you guys so much! And when the talent show tomorrow night is over, I am sure Webster will be happy to see you all again.” Sapphire said as she and her friends walked down the halls to their destination.

After their audition, they were in the talent show for tomorrow night. (hahahahaa! I am so not going to tell you anything until the talent show comes! Muahahahahaahaha!) “Great! I knew we would make it! We kick ass, right Ripper?” Sneaks asked.

“Ok, I got to go home, but I will see you tomorrow night, right?” Sapphire asked her group of friends. They all nodded and parted.

(at home)

“Hey guys! Sorry I had to stay after school.” Sapphire said to them as she stepped out of her room after running into it. “No problem. What were you staying after for?” Yukina asked. She wanted to make sure her cousin was staying out of trouble.

“Oh, Ummm, I stayed after because I wanted to do something … Uh, got to run!” Sapphire hurriedly said before running into her room. That is where she stayed for the whole night doing her homework. She didn't even eat dinner. But before Sapphire went to bed, she took a shower and put on the radio. It was playing a song by The Offspring. It was called Can't Repeat. She sang softly to the words:

 

I woke the other day

The past is over but tomorrow's wishful thinking

(The next day)

“Oh boy! These are good fries!” Yukina exclaimed, who was starving, even though she was eating her lunch. “Hey guys. I saw a flyer the other day about a talent show. It is going to be tonight. Want to go. I mean we could make fun of those who suck. Then we can get ourselves kicked out. How about it?” Sapphire asked. The guys shrugged and the girls smiled. “Ok, well let me call Botan and tell her.” Keiko said while pulling out her Virgin Mobile Cell.

(Later that night after school, at home, before the talent show)

“Okay, everyone ready?” Yukina asked. “Ummm, you guys go. I'll see you there. I just have to do something and then I will be with ya's.” Sapphire yelled from her room. “You know, she has been acting weird lately?” Botan questioned aloud. “Okay, see ya!” Yukina yelled back. With that, everyone left, except for Sapphire.

Sapphire was just finishing with what she was wearing. She was wearing a Lip Service Safety Pin Geisha Dress with a black coned spikes bracelet on each wrist. She had her hair down. Her long wavy dark blue hair down to the middle of her back and her dark purple bangs were clipped back on the right side of her head. Then she had on Multi laced Ribbon heels. She had on heavy black eyeliner and a deep dark shade of red lip-gloss on. She grabbed her guitar and waited outside for her ride to come. Tat is when she saw it and she saw her three friends.

Pyro was wearing a Gothic Lolita Girl Friday Shirt and Skirt outfit with Demonia Black Patent Leather Ribbon High Heel Mary-janes. Her black hair was up in a high ponytail. She was wearing silver skull earrings that were SHINY! She had on fishnet arm warmers and black fishnet stockings on. She had black lipstick and heavy silver eyeliner over black eye-shadow. She was ready to go.

Sneaks was wearing a Japanese Lolita Flirt outfit with fishnet stockings and Demonia Red Ribbon Heel Mary- Janes. She had in black pic earrings and black arm warmers with red buckles on them. She was wearing no makeup except for heavy red eyeliner and some clear lip-gloss. Her straight chestnut brown hair was down her back. Her bangs were a pink color, and were covering her left eye.

Jello was wearing a Gothic Lolita Anime Girl outfit. She had black Gothic Lolita cut-offs on with black T.U.K Tall double-sided Corset boots (not that you would be able to see the lacing on the boots). She had wavy black hair that was long enough to just go beyond her chest. She was wearing red lip-gloss and had on a black eye-shadow with thick silver eyeliner. Then she had on full length striation knit gloves with a thumbhole in it.

With all of that done with, they were ready to go.

(At the talent show)

“Ok. That was . . . interesting. Give it up for Janie and Robin!” The school principal said over the microphone. “Ok, we have another group. One of our students wanted to be in the talent show and gathered up friends. They will be singing Missing by Evanescence. Now, this song is sad. But, at the auditions, they were great. Here they are.” The principal put the microphone back down in it spot and went off stage. The little mini group gasped. All through the talent show so far they had been wondering where their dear Sapphire was, and now they knew. She was one of the people in the talent show. The guys noticed Yukina shook her head with a big smile. “Oh, she is hopeless.” They heard Yukina mutter. Little did they know, Yukina was smiling for a different reason.

Sapphire, Sneaks, Pyro, Jello, and some dude from band came up on stage. Pyro went to the drums, Jello went to bass, Sneaks and Sapphire was guitar and the nerd from band class was doing piano for piano parts.

The music started.

When the song ended, claps were heard and Sapphire and everyone else got off stage and the talent show continued. Sadly, the principal didn't want anyone to be crushed, so there were no awards or winners. Everyone was a winner. LoLzZ. When it was over, Yukina ran into Sapphire and gave her a hug. “Nice job Ripper. And HOLY SHIT!” Yukina exclaimed. “I haven't seen you three in a LONG while!” Yukina said happily as she gave Pyro, Sneaks, and Jello each a hug. “Hey, if it isn't Webster. Wow, you aren't going to hit us, are you?” Pyro said with fake fear. Yukina laughed and for old time's sake, punched Pyro in the side, hard. “OUCH! Ok, I get it, you still hurt. DAMN!” Pyro said holding her side. Yukina was smiling. She was really happy. These were her friends. Sure it was her past, but her friends, she knew she just couldn't throw in the back of her mind. “I am so happy!” Yukina said in a cheerful voice.

Kurama, the guys, Keiko and Botan were on the side watching what was going on. They noticed how Yukina dressed and how the others were dressed. Yukina didn't fit in, yet, she did. Sapphire turned toward the guys. “Guys this is Pyro, Sneaks, and Jello. Girls, this is Keiko, Botan, Botan's Boyfriend, my cousin and Webster's brother, Hiei. This is Keiko's Boyfriend Yusuke. Then we have Webster's Boyfriend, Kuwabara. Then last but not least, we have my boyfriend, Kurama.” Sapphire said. They all said their hellos and shook hands.

Yukina couldn't be any happier than she was right now.

Okay! I think I did well. This is a record breaker for all my other chapters! This was a good 6 pages on Microsoft word! LoLzZ Please R+R (oh, when do you not?) LoLzZ Oh, and I bet you thought Sapphire and Friends were going to sing Can't repeat! O0o nope! I had just had to put in a little . . uh, twist! Hahahahahahhahaha!!!!!!
