Kuronue and the IPod.

 

Kuronue never saw something like this. He was held prisoner for so long, he didn't recognized Kurama at first. But eventually he got through it and got back to his usual self. He also met the Reikai Tantei team he was part of, but they weren't too friendly to each other, especially when in Makai.

 

“Hey, why don't we all go to Genkai's and make some reunion?” said Yusuke.

 

“That's a good idea. Will Yukina be there?” asked Kuwabara while blushing. Hiei gave him a death glare.

 

“Sure, let's call everyone, and have a party, shall we?” said Kurama to his friends.

 

Kuronue was listening from afar, leaning on a tree, his arms crossed in distaste. He would be bored if these people left so soon. Then that came to Yusuke's mind.

 

“Hey Kuronue, why don't you come with us? It'll be fun!” he snickered. Kuronue looked his way and then turned away. “Come on, I know you'd never been to the human world” with this, he caught the demon's attention.

 

Kurama convinced him it would be way fun. Kuronue felt intrigued about Ninenkai, that world of humans, filled with such seemingly outrageous stuff. Even thought he did not approved at first, he ended up accepting.

 

“Let's get going, we need to buy snacks and the others a call” retorted Yusuke with a huge grin on his face.

 

“Yeah, but Kuronue, we really need to do something about your wings” said Kurama.

 

“Hn, those are rather noticeable” said Hiei.

 

“But these are my wings we're talking about” replied Kuronue alarmed.

 

“You can just hide them, don't you? Just so you look a little bit more human-like” said Kurama.

 

“What?! I don't want to” said Kuronue, but Kurama talked him into doing it.

 

They went to the human world, made a few calls, bought some snacks and drinks, and then went to Genkai's place. Keiko had something on her hands. Her new IPod just arrived, so she was really excited. Kuronue stared at her wondering.

 

Once everyone was there the party begun. Lots of food, chattering, some jokes and games. Keiko left the IPod over a table. Kuronue was really curious about this shiny thing. He casually walked over to the table and grabbed it. It seemed like it was metallic or something. He pushed a button and it lit up and sound started to come out of the strange thing.

 

~What? What's going on? Where does that sound come from? He thought to himself.

 

He shook the small gadget but the sound wouldn't stop. He started panicking and touched the screen and the sound suddenly got louder. Kuronue was now looking for a way to make it stop. Yusuke saw how despaired Kuronue was and attracted all the attention towards the demon.

 

“Don't let it beat you!” said Yusuke mockingly.

 

“Shut up” darted Kuronue.

 

“Look, the little deeeeeeeeemon don't know what an IPod is” remarked Kuwabara.

 

They all laughed at him. Kuronue was beyond embarrassment. He got really mad and crushed the device on his hand. Genkai was waking Yusuke and Yukina was lecturing Kuwabara. Everyone stopped from doing everything when a crushing sound rang through the room. Kuronue was shaking in anger.

 

“You… You broke my new IPod” said Keiko sternly.

 

Kuronue looked down and saw the pieces of the device hanging from his hand. He didn't notice when it happened.

 

“It was brand new” said Keiko walking up to him “it costs a fortune” she added.

 

Now Kuronue was nervous. She looked she would kill him. Yusuke and the others were watching silently as she beat Kuronue, who, by the way, wouldn't do a thing since it was his fault.

“And this ends your first visit to Ningenkai” added Kurama while chuckling.

 

“What was that thing? I grabbed it and suddenly began to hear some chants or something” said the beaten Kuronue.

 

“That, my friend, WAS an IPod, before you broke it” replied the demon fox.

 

And this is how Kuronue learned what an IPod is, and not to mess with human women.
