I sat in the temple with the injured girls. I sighed. The others had been gone for quite some time now. "I wanna help the others defeat Yakumo......"I whined. I then thought of something. "But Im on a mission! O.P.T.O! Operation Protect The Others!"I said standing up. I sat back down. "Oh......but Im so hungry!" Yukina stirred. I hope my talking hadnt woken her up. She looked at me.

"Hi Zinnia....."she said as her normal gentle self. Her voice wasnt very strong.

"Hi Big Si...I mean Yukina.."oops, almost let that one out. Yukina looked over at Keiko who was still asleep.

"Wha....what happened to Keiko?"she asked. I looked over at Keiko.

"Well, I guess she was attacked after you were...."then Yukina's eyes filled with tears.

"Why......why.....is he hurting everyone......the 3 eyed demon and his friend hurt Genkai too!"she wailed. I looked down in sorrow.

"Yes...I know...but...wait....a three eyed demon? You mean like Hiei?"I asked. Yukina slowly nodded.

"Yes....." my ears perked up.

"Well, dont worry! The others have set off to destroy the evil demons and make everything right again!"I said trying to make my big sister feel better. Yukina looked confused.

"Why did you not go with them.....?"she asked.

"Well.....Hiei said that I should stay here and watch over you guys...."I replied. "I also that he doesnt want to put me in danger...." Yukina gave a weak smile.

"Hiei....he really cares for you......you are so lucky to have an older brother.....perhaps someday I will find mine was well....." I sweat dropped.

"Uh....yeah...Im sure you will!"I said happily.

"Zinnia?"

"Yes?"I tilted my head to one side.

"I...I had this dream.....that there's someone else missing in my life......a younger female.....a little sister...somewhere...."I became nervous.

"So...um....you think you have a little sister too?"I asked nervously. Yukina shook her head.

"No......I know I have a little sister....hopefully when I find my siblings they'll be as great as you and Hiei..."I sweatdropped again.

"Oh you have no idea..."I thought. The sliding door opened. I jumped up and took a fighting stance. It was Genkai. I sighed in relief.

"Zinnia....I thought you had left with the others..." I shook my head.

"No...Hiei told me to stay and watch the others...."I answered. Genkai looked outside.

"Those demons are very powerful......"she started. "They need everyone they can possibly get......"she looked at me. "Zinnia.....go....I will watch Yukina and Keiko."

"Really? Are you sure?"I asked. Genkai nodded. "Okay...I just hope Im not too late..."

"Zinnia.....if you are too late then you must finish what has been started and avenge the others.."I nodded.

"Yes."

"Bye Zinnia..."said Yukina. I smiled.

"Bye Yukina!" I ran out of the temple. I made my way down the steps. I had to hurry. The stench of netherworld evil was all around the area. I hoped that the otheres were okay. Yoko my spirit beast had already left to finish a case he had been previously given in the Makai. So I had no help in finding the others. So I couldnt fly on my spirit beast so I was gonna have to go by foot. By time I got to the others I'd probaly be too tired to fight. I was now running through the city. It looked like an old ghost town.....and was conpletely silent. People must be hiding inside buildings or something in fear. There were some corpses on the ground. This made me angry. And since Botan was kidnapped she couldnt take their souls to the Spirit World. Humans.....slaughtered by demons for pleasure....this was terrible. I could sense a huge power. It was far away. I hoped that Yuske and the others could hold it off until I came to help. It's like that song...'United we stand' I began to sing it to help me get encouraged for the fight. "United we stand. Divided we fall. And if our backs should ever be against the wall, we'll be together. Together you and I."I stopped my singing once I made my way out of the city. I was at what looked like a construction site. There were strange tall skinny tree-like things growing out of the grown. This could only of been the work of Kurama. Leaves slowly fell to the ground from the trees. There was blood on the ground. I looked up. There was a demon stuck in the trees. Some of the trees where stabbing him through his body. I cut the trees down with my claws. He instantly fell to the ground in front of me. I looked down at him. "Hey.....did you see which way my friends went?"I asked. The demon looked up at me.

"If you mean that stupid fox and his friends.....they went towards the flood gate....."he coughed. I picked him up by his yellow hair.

"Dont you dare call him stupid...."I started. "He's my friend. " He coughed again.

"You should just run away, wolf.....once Lord Yakumo gets his hands on your friends they'll all be dead. He'll probaly find you and turn you into a fur coat."he threatened. I snarled.

"Shut up!"my fist connected with his jaw. His old body became loose like an old rag down. I stared at him. "Oops, I think I killed them." my stomach growled. "Hmm.....I havent eatened all day." I stared at the demon. I opened my mouth and totally barbacued the demon with my firebreath. I then began to chow down.
