Ddc: Hey everyone! I got a muse! Aren't you proud of me?

Kuri: hn. Why would anyone be proud of you?

Ddc: shut up kuri. In case anyone is wondering, Kuri's my muse. She's, how would you put this, very pervy. To put it bluntly, she's very slutty and likes to sleep around.

Kuri: I AM a black youko after all. ^_^

Ddc: ok back to story. I'm actually posting a poem! I wrote this about 2 years ago, and since I'm helping my friend Kristen (penname: Kari Minamino) write a new fic and using this poem as one of the songs, I thought I'd post it. ^_^ this is from Kurama's pov, by the way. ^_^ oh I don't own yyh by the way.

Kuri: But I own Reisho.

Ddc: that's just plain gross Kuri. I thought you had at least SOME dignity!

Kuri: I do. I had a ton of fun with Suzuka last night ^_^

Ddc: You're hopeless. On with the poem!

In my mirror on the wall

I see someone whose thoughts are tall

A person whom I can never be

Is staring sadly back at me

In my mirror on the wall

I see someone whose been hurt before

Yet in the midst of it all

Has raised their head and stood up tall

A person with such strength as that

Can never on earth be me.

In my mirror on the wall

I see a person whose planned their life

They're with their man or wife

Worrying everyday about bills to pay

A person as down to earth as that could never be me.

As I gaze into my mirror on the wall

I see myself as the person I dream to be

Always strong when others are weak

Always knowing what to do every minute of the day

Then the dream passes

And I see me

In my reflecting mirror on the wall.

Darkdemonchild: Yeah I know that is the shortest thing I've ever written. And its supposed to be that short! It's a poem! Oh and it is not originally written from Kurama's pov. Again, I wrote this seventh grade, which was two years ago, and I didn't know about yu yu hakusho then, (that was in 8th grade ^_^;) so this is really from my pov. See, even I can get gloomy and depressed!

Kuri: but that almost never happens so don't expect too many of these sad fics/poems.
