~Insanity~

Hiei didn't know where he was, he just knew Kurama wasn't there. That angered him to no end. He wanted his kitsune. It had been so long, he needed his kitsune. His kitsune needed him.
"You will regret this! You'll all see! None shall escape my wrath!" Hiei screamed. "I'll find Kurama, then you'll all pay!"
"Hiei, please, settle down. We don't want to have to sedate you again." Doctor Hinawari said calmly.
"No! I will not calm down, you are all going to die! Now, let me out! I must find Kurama!"
An insane rage had taken over. Hiei, more then likely, was no longer fully in control.

Koenma had been informed when Kurama had snapped, and was disappointed to here that it had happened. But now Hiei wasn't well and that had Koenma worried.
"This is going to break us all, Koenma." Yuusuke said, eyes to the floor. "I'm not even sure if I'm well anymore."
This immediately got Koenma. Yuusuke was one of the most valuable people he had. And with all the information... No. This was more then just a Reikai Tantei thing.
Yuusuke had become his friend. He couldn't see his friend, one who had been strong during such hard time, fall to such a small, unseen force.
"Yuusuke, you have to hold on. There's gotta be something we can do for them." Koenma said quietly.
"If you took the time to visit you would see it was hopeless!" Yuusuke snapped. "You haven't gone to seen them! You don't really have a clue till you see what has really happened!"
Koenma hung his head, Yuusuke was right. He had no idea. There was no way he could know how bad it really was.
"Damnit Koenma. Kurama thinks he's three different people!" Yuusuke's rage died to a whisper. "He doesn't even realize he's trying to live all three of his lives at the same time."
A tear fell from Yuusuke’s eye. It hurt Koenma, deeply, to see such a strong boy weep.

Shiori and Yukina had gone from Shuiichi’s room to Hiei's. Yukina wanted to make sure her brother was being cared for.
"Yukina! Get me out of here! Tell them I'm okay. Tell them that everything's fine!" He said in a soft, hysterical voice.
"Hiei, I'm sorry. Your not well. You need help." She said quietly.
"Damnit!" He screamed.
Hiei pounded his head on the door, making Yukina jump back and look at him with fear.
"Yukina! Don't listen to their lies! You have to get me out! I gotta get to Kurama!" He screamed.
"Please, Hiei, don't do this to me." She whispered, backing away.
"Yukina, there's no need to be afraid of him. He can't get to you." The doctor tried to reassure her.
"I'd never be afraid of my brother." She replied. "I'm afraid of what he has become."

"Kazuma... Where are all your little friends?" Shizuru asked.
Kuwabara said nothing. He just continued to stare at the blank television in front of him.
"Bro, you got me worried. What's wrong?"
"It's nothing." He replied, just as he had all week.
"Kazuma! Stop it!" She shouted.
This scared Kuwabara out of his zone.
"Now, what the hell is going on? Why doesn't Boton and the others come over anymore?"
Kuwabara couldn't take her yelling anymore. He knew he couldn't protect her from the truth forever.
"They can't. Not all of 'em, anyway. Kurama... and Hiei... they've... they're crazy. They've been locked away."
Shizuru stared at her brother. Could he... had they really... Shizuru took a seat next to her brother.
"There's no more missions, Urameshi and I can't focus. We have no more defenses, no strengths. We're useless. Enma said it's only a matter of time before Urameshi and I snap as well. It's to much pressure for us." Kuwabara rambled, not even realizing he was speaking. "I don't wanna be locked away, living like an animal in a cage."
Shizuru wrapped her arm around his shoulder and pulled him close to her.
"No matter what happens, I'll be here for you." She said. "Don't think you have to go this alone."

Koenma had been through a lot if Reikai Tanteis, but none touched him as much as this group. They were so uniform. Each relied on the others. He relied on their strength as well.
"I'll figure something out. I promise. It's my turn to do something for the rest of you." Koenma said to the empty room.
Yuusuke had let and Koenma had promised to visit the fallen Tanteis.
"Something had to have gone wrong other last mission. They were all fine before that."
With that Koenma made his way out of his office, in his teenage form, to visit Kurama and Hiei.

"Minamino Shuiichi and Hiei? Haven't seen you here before." The receptionist said.
"I just found out a few days ago. I've been traveling and was in the Rocky Mountains when word was first sent. I'm hard to get a hold of." Koenma bluffed.
But like always his story was bought and no further questions were asked. Koenma looked for a familiar face and noticed Yuusuke coming down the hall.
Yuusuke came up next to Koenma and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Glad you could make it." He said and smiled to him.
"Hello Yuusuke." The receptionist greeted him.
Yuusuke turned to her and flashed her a smile. "Good morning."
"Here to visit Shuiichi and Hiei?"
"Yep."
"Care to lead your friend to them?"
"Can do." He turned back to Koenma. "C'mon."

Kuroi: Alright, hate to leave it there, but I need something to start the next chapter on!
Yoko: You are impossible.
Hiei: Then why do you hang around here?
Yoko: Cause you always show up here! *scoops up Hiei*
Hiei: You need to stop that.
Yoko: *shakes head* Nope.
Kuroi: Well, they'll be more soon! Promise!
