Labeled Insane

Part 7: Meet My…Mother!   The woman ran her hand through her light blue hair. Her light purple eyes gazed at the paperwork among her desk. She sighed. Her mind drifted to the phone conversation yesterday. The insane doctor was very difficult to talk to. Of course since he was holding her employee hostage, kind of. It was almost like that. The silver-haired assassin was one tough negotiator. And the fact that he fancied her favorite employee was really distracting.   Botan sighed and threw the file down. She pressed the intercom button.   “Yukina, send her in,” she told her secretary.   “Of course,” Yukina replied back.   -----------------   Shuuichi tried vainly to pull away from Yoko’s grip. It wasn’t working but in this crowded subway it could happen. That is only if the doctor didn’t have a very good grip on his wrist. He even tried to break off the hold with the people pushing them so he wouldn’t be suspected of trying to escape.   It was then a few minutes later the grip on him was released. He mentally rejoiced in his head and headed towards the exit of the subway, running through the crowd the best he could.   Yoko cursed as his grip on Shuuichi loosened either Shuuichi would be dragged by the crowd or attempt to flee from him. His eyes darted around over the crowd. He towered over everyone so he could see. He saw red dash heading straight for the exit/entrance of the subway. He growled in annoyance. If only the kid was cooperative. He darted through the crowd hoping to catch the redhead before he exited…too late. He cursed and pushed through the people roughly as he was able to run up the steps. His eyes looked left and right and he ran left. Luckily enough Shuuichi never looked behind him.   He made it within arm length of the redhead and wrapped his arm around his waist halting his attempt of escape. He turned them around as they were attached to the hip, literary speaking. Shuuichi struggled trying to get out from under the doctor’s arms with no success. It wasn’t only because he wanted to get away it was also because they were getting stares. The majority of them were jealous looks. The doctor didn’t mind them but his patient did. They could hear the gossip. Shuuichi blushed at some of them. Botan would laugh at him.   At her agency he was sort of the little sibling of the family they had along with Yukina, who was Hiei’s twin sister. Hiei could’ve been the same but he was much more older looking then he let on. They both were but just looked like kids. Anyways he stopped his struggles and wondered where the kitsune was taking him. Since the crowds thinned out they were able to find a seat in the next train luckily, well unluckily depending on what situation you’re in.   In Shuuichi’s case it’s worse. Since most people thought of him as a girl it would look right but in reality it wasn’t. He was sitting on the doctor’s lap making room for the old woman to sit down. Shuuichi preferred to stand but he fell as soon as the train started moving.   It was going to be a long ride.   -----------------   Yoko was thinking. There’s no surprise here. He was aware of the jealous glances sent his way but didn’t pay them any mind. How he agreed to this was really beginning to nag on him. Back then, he would’ve just told her to go fuck her self but that didn’t come out of his mouth. He agreed! He agreed to this stupid plan. Go all the way to Hokkaido and meet Botan there for something important. Whatever the hell was important that she demanded him to bring the kid along wasn’t really all that comforting.   His mind rationed with him that maybe it was an ambush. But from the way she was speaking Shuuichi was like gold to them and they wouldn’t hurt him, only if he allowed them to but they wouldn’t either way. He sighed in boredom. There was nothing to do for this long train ride. His eyes glanced down at Shuuichi’s sleeping form. Well at least he was relaxed while he had to sit on this uncomfortable seat. Well he could at least enjoy the company. He was about to fall into dreamland until he was interrupted by a voice.   “My, my, Kurama, on a train?” there was amusement there. He growled in annoyance as he looked up at Shizuru who was just deemed sane by him. He hated her snoopy and scheming ways. She was with her boyfriend, Sakyo, who sat across from him. He wondered how long they’ve been there.   “I thought I could get rid of you when I said you were sane enough to be on your own. Now hours later I find you here on the same train!” Yoko exclaimed horribly. “What did I do to deserve this?”   “That package you have sleeping on your lap,” Sakyo pointed out. Yoko turned his glare on him.   “You’re next cop.”   “Now, now Kurama baby, there’s no need to be so cold. After all it is your fault that you’re involved with one of Botan’s favorite employees. She wouldn’t be too happy to find out you’ve taken a liking to red right here,” Shizuru stated from her spot next to her boyfriend. “Though maybe that’s why you’re being dragged all the way to Hokkaido to test her suspicions.”   “That bitch already had it in for me. Why should I be worried?”   “Because every guy’s worst nightmare is going to be there.”   “And that would be what exactly?”   “His mother.”   “And that would be a nightmare because?”   “Because you consensually raped her son, treated him like a prisoner, and forced him to do things he didn’t want to do.”   “And your point would be?”   “She’s definitely going to kill you.”   “And that would be a possibility because?”   “Stop asking questions. You’ve changed. A comment like that you’d get all cocky and say something like ‘I’ll kill her before she kills me’ talk. Though I would have to say it’s an interesting change.”   “Shut up, Shizuru. I have not changed because I would’ve strangled you had I not have something blocking me.”   “Ah, your first sign.” Yoko grumbled in annoyance wondering why the hell other people were right. Shuuichi shifted a little startling him from his thoughts. He stirred but didn’t wake. “Aw, don’t you two make a cute couple. Smile!” Shizuru stated while taking out a camera taking a picture. Yoko’s eyes twitched. Carefully handling the redhead he placed him on the empty seat next to him. Luckily the kid only slept if his life wasn’t in danger. Shizuru held onto Sakyo’s shoulder, he didn’t mind unless he was the one being threatened.   “Is there something else you want to comment about me, Shizuru?”   “Eh…Sakyo, help me.”   “Your problem,” he said flipping a page of the newspaper casually.   “Uh, some gentleman you are.”   “Anytime.”   “Eh…how bout this Kurama-sensei, I’ll give you the picture after I get them printed out?”   “How would I know if you didn’t show it to someone else first?” Yoko asked cautiously.   “Easy because you’re coming with me to get them published.”   “Said who?!” he growled out.   “Me. Besides you owe me a lot of favors, remember? I think I could take all the blackmail material I have to the police. I’m sure they’d like to have that.”   “You bit-“   He stopped in mid sentence as a yawn erupted from beside him. Shuuichi had just woken up. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes cutely. Shizuru squealed in delight.   “Kawaii!” She said before taking a picture of the scene.   Shuuichi covered both his eyes from the sudden flash of light. He blinked a few times before finally focusing on the real world. He noticed a dark haired man, Shizuru sitting next to the guy, and the doctor beside him. Memories of how he got there came to him as he remembered what happened. He fell asleep. Shrugging it off he realized he was still tired so he lied back down with his head on the doctor’s lap without thinking of what he might suffer when he wakes up. He immediately fell asleep after getting himself comfortable.   Shizuru and Sakyo: O.o   They both wondered what the doctor would do. They saw his eye twitch a few times they could’ve imagined that there was a stress mark on his temple. Yoko’s eyes narrowed angrily at the sleeping kid on his lap. It was enough that he had cramps already. He was about to give Shuuichi a rude awakening until the redhead shifted and turned to face him. Shuuichi was still asleep and just made himself comfortable. Damn the kid’s face was close to his…   He didn’t want to even suggest such a thing!   Though that didn’t mean he couldn’t think about it. Shaking his head he forced down those thoughts and focusing on how the hell was he going to survive this train ride.   -----------------   Yukina glanced at the cooking mother. She could tell by the rapid movements of the knife that she was angry or somewhat mad. But the smile on her face was that of happiness at the joy of seeing her son again. Ever since Shuuichi had been abducted while on a mission a few months ago, Shiori had been looking and checking in with Botan every once in a while. Yukina smiled at the memory when Shiori stumbled in Botan’s office and demanded to know where her son was. Botan was afraid to even speak. It was her job being the adoptive daughter to calm the angered mother down.   It was then Botan tore through every file on either arrest or death. Turns out it wasn’t there for he was very much alive. She could hear the muttered curses towards her ex-husband. After all it was his fault that Shuuichi was placed in an institution. He could’ve just brought him back but no. When she called him up he got an earful. Plus he wouldn’t tell her where he placed him so it was a tuff find but nothing can get past Botan being a talented hacker herself.   The doorbell rang Shiori dropped what she was doing and ran to the door. She opened it but her smile faded as she saw Yoko and not her son. The silver-haired man looked annoyed before bringing something from behind him. Her face held a surprise.   “Shuuichi!” Shiori squealed in surprise while hugging Shuuichi in a vice like grip cutting the circulation to his lungs.   “Mo…mother…ca…can’t breathe!” he stated flailing his arms around trying to keep still at the same time to not waist oxygen. She let go while she smiled with tears about to prick down her eyes. She straightened his shirt getting wrinkles out.   “Yukina’s in the kitchen. Help her out we’re having guests.” She said watching him go towards the kitchen, and then she turned to the doctor/assassin who was silently walking away. She growled in annoyance before grabbing his ear dragging him inside. “You, doctor are not going anywhere. I feel bad that you brought my son all the way here and I didn’t offer you to stay for the night.”   Yoko growled in annoyance as he rubbed his ear. This woman was very strong. So he decided to stay. He sat on the couch, waiting what the woman had in mind. He didn’t want to know.   TBC-----------------   Kinshin: Hiya folks hope you enjoyed!
