Koga-*looks over at shippou* What are you doing runt?
shippou-*innoscent* I'm dyeing sesshomaru's fluff pink so that it's more girly
Koga-*snicker* better hope you don't get caught
Shippou-don't worry Inuyasha is running the distraction
Koga-huh? how?
Shippou- he kidnapped kagome and hid her where Sesshomaru couldn't find her.
Koga-WHAT?!!? KAGOME!! DON'T WORRY I'LL SAVE YOU! *runs off in random direction*
Shippou-*snicker* and now for my plan to begin.
Kikyo- *reads script in dead pan voice* Disclamer: Psychokitsune does not own the Inu gang. Look up *looks up at falling boulder* Oh shit.

Silence, nothing but the fire crackling in the hearth. Just pure, blissful, silence.
Or.......at least......it would be.....if it wasn’t for Kaede and Sesshomaru having a staring match over the teapot.
‘Really now. What’s with those two?’ she wondered idly slowly turning the teacup around in her hands.

With a last long searching look Kaede broke eye contact to sip on her now cooled tea. The mounting tension in the room was broken only when the old miko started talking,
“So.....ye mean to be telling this old woman that, due to a troubling situation. Kagome’s uncontrolled powers turned ye female in the mist of battle, and so all of ye came to me for advice on the situation.”
pausing to sip more of her tea, she looked over the assembled rag-tag group before her before continuing.
“Be that as it may, I am of no assistance to you in this matter.”
There was a resounding gasp as well as a few “NANI?!” from the companions who were seated inside the village miko’s small hut. All except for Sesshomaru, who’s eyes slightly narrowed as he bit out his next words,
“Explain yourself woman.”
Letting her single eye return to Sesshomaru, the old woman calmly gazed upon the Taiyoukai,
“I mean to say that I have never heard of an occasion such as this in all my days. The only thing I can suggest is that Sesshomaru and Kagome stay together as much as possible and try doing different ‘things’ with ye’s powers. Kagome since ye’s powers are a wee bit different from a normal Miko’s I shall teach ya a few exercises before ye leave next. In the mean time the rest of you should talk to the elders in villages ye pass through during your travels to see if ye hear anything about this. I shall look into this a bit myself.”
“There is no fucking way that-” Inuyasha began before he was cut off by kagome
“Thank you for your help Kaede” bowing slightly as she stood up, “I’m going for a walk to clear my head.”
Kagome quickly left the hut, brushing aside the bamboo cloth covering the door frame as she left before any other arguments broke out inside.

Kagome followed the faintly worn path through the trees until she reached the god tree. Walking up to the tree that started it all she gently ran her fingers over the bark - standing on some of the sturdy roots as she did - until the questing digits found the mark they were looking for.
The mark from the arrow that held Inuyasha too this very same tree for 50 years until she had freed him. A long drawn out sigh issued from between her lips.
‘ And look how far I’ve come since then. I travel around the country side fighting youkai and searching for shards of the sacred Shikon no Tama. Who would ever believe me back home?’
Turning around ‘till her back faced the trunk, she slowly slid down until she was sitting on the ground.
Closing her eyes in the process she idly thought ‘It’s weird, when ever I’m out here I always feel so calm and relaxed’.
Some time later Kagome woke up to the feeling of an overwhelming aura that was practically crackling with displeasure.
Slowly she cracked an eye open while cursing herself for not bringing her bow with her.
To her surprise the aura belonged to Sesshomaru who was standing at the edge of the clearing glaring for all she was worth at her.
Stretching her arms out Kagome opened her eyes and met Sesshomaru’s glare.
“So, what brings you out this way Sessh?”
