Sesshomaru stood there stone still shocked.
Here he was a youkai that had almost killed her not even a week ago. And she wakes up from sleeping, in the middle of the forest no less with no help in sight, and she isn’t even scared? What was fucking wrong with this woman?!
All these thoughts ran through his mind in a matter of seconds while his face remained impassive.
All except for a brief flickering in his eyes that no one caught.
By this time Kagome had already stood up and was leaning over backwards trying to work the kinks out of all her muscles that had formed during her nap.
At that time Sesshomaru happened to snap out of his musings in time to see her in that rather....weird position.
“Miko, what are you doing?”
“AAHHHHH!” *crash* Kagome fell to the forest floor.
“Oww. What the hell was that for Sesshomaru? I was in the middle of a stretch for kami’s sake.”
Sesshomaru stiffened, glaring slightly at the woman before him that irked him to no end.
“I am the one asking questions here miko.”
Of course, he never expected the response he was about to get.

By now I wasn’t even listening to her anymore.
I mean really the only reaction I was going to get was something along the lines of:
I am the mighty and powerful taiyoukai you are not even fit to be in my presence, there for you shall acknowledge that and bow before me.
She sighed.
Like that was ever going to happen.
‘Hmm....Now what should I do to get my point across? Well since sessh is such a long name and he doesn’t even give me the common courtesy of calling me by mine, I should return the favor’
Kagome glanced over at Sesshomaru who was just looking at her and grinned one of her most evil smiles that had yet passed her lips.
‘Lets see, what would be a good nick-name’
She turned back so that she was facing the woman before her and cast a critical eye over the female youkai before her. Scanning up and down until her eyes alighted on her shoulder pelt.
‘It looks so...so...fluffy...THAT’s IT!’
“From now on whenever you don’t call me by my name I’m going to call you FLUFFY! I hope that you enjoy your new nick-make cause it’s going to be around for a looong time.”
She mentally patted herself on the back for thinking this one up. This was almost as good as the time when she and Shippou had dyed Miroku’s robes pink.
Only temporarily of course. But still that was a sight to see.
Little did she know that she had been thinking out loud the entire time.

Now he was worried, that girl was mumbling to herself about doing something and himself.
It was as if she was talking to herself, if he didn’t have his enhanced hearing he probably wouldn’t have ever heard her.
And that grin he just received, he had to suppress a shiver that raced along his spine.
‘This does not bode well.’
His attention was snapped back towards the priestess in front of him when she started talking louder.
As he listened he was shocked once again. Only to grind his teeth together in frustration, struggling and failing to hold his growl at bay.
“Miko you are testing this Sesshomaru’s patience.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Kagome’s P.O.V.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Airily she stood straighter placing one hand on her hip and tossing her hair over her shoulder with the other as if she didn‘t have a care in the world.
“Well Fluffy you never told me why you came out here. So why don’t you just tell me so that we can both go our separate ways when your done.”
She looked him dead in the eyes as he responded,
“Kagome, as of now you are not to leave my presence unless I give you permission to leave until I am back to my normal body.”
The answer was cold and devoid of any emotion that she could detect.
Then the words sank into her mind and her jaw dropped open from her shock. Not a word passed her lips as she stood there for what felt like eternity just staring at the arrogant woman before her.
Sesshomaru looked at her once and nodded, then he turned around as if to leave the clearing
“Come we are-”
She cut him off before he could even start.
“Sesshomaru, do you mean to say to me,”
Sesshomaru stopped. a slight frown just barely tugging at the corners of his lips. She turned her head to look over her shoulder at me.
I stood still bangs covering my eyes. I knew that if I looked at his I would probably do something that I would regret later on.
The poor fool greatly underestimated me.
“ That you expect me to follow you around the country side, obey your every order, leave my friends behind, and to drop my own quest on the drop of a dime?”
I slowly looked up reveling my face, anger evident in my smoldering eyes.
At the time I didn’t relise it but my eyes were turning a very vibrant pink as my powers reacted.
“Well I’ve got news for you Bastard! It was your fault you attacked me and my friends. So you don’t get to give the orders around here.”
A wind had started to blow, but i disregarded it as unimportant.
Little did I know that it was circling me raising my hair and crackling with my powers where ever they collided in the air around me.
I stalked forward, eyes intent on the startled taiyoukai before me. Not even the least bit scared of what he could do to me.
At the moment I was just too pissed off to give a damn.
“I can’t believe that you would even presume to try and order me around when you have tried and failed at killing me multiple times in the past. If I wished to do so I could purify you right now and there’s most likely nothing you could do about it. I am going home now and you will not follow me.”
I turned to leave the clearing, heading straight towards the village. My powers still swirling strongly around me.

As Kagome reached the edge of the village the villagers took one look at her and stayed as far away as possible.
No one had ever seen her in such a rage, and no one even wanted to try and calm her down. This time Kagome headed straight to Kaede’s hut to collect her stuff.
‘Lucky me only old Kaede is at home’
she thought to herself. The old woman's single eye widened considerably as kagome raised the flap that concealed the opening to her door and steeped inside.
She had scooted over to the far wall over by the fire pit bow and arrows at the ready. It looked as tho she had senced the angry aura from across town and was ready for it.
“Child, when ye have calmed down come back and we shall discuss what has happened to ye. I shall tell ye friends that ye have left for home.”
Kagome nodded once, still to angry to speak, collected her stuff and left for the well,
her eyes still glowing a vibrant pink that swirled around her pure white irises.

He stood there just standing still .Eyes still wide and unfocused.
For the first time ever in his life, he had felt fear.
He still did not understand it.

He stood transfixed by the sight before him.
The girl’s miko powers were wrapping around her while her eyes glowed a menacing pink.
At that moment she did not look even remotely human. Her powers sizled almost painfully as they brushed across his aura.
He felt a sliver of fear curl around his gut along with another emotion that he had not felt in many a decade.
It was lust.

How was it that a mere slip of a girl, and a human one at that, had managed to frighten this Sesshomaru?
It just wasn’t possible.
Shaking his head he left the clearing.
He had felt her aura heading towards a different part of the forest and now, he was going to get some answers.
And maybe something else as well.
