Lady Fox: Uh, how many kitkats have you had today

LW: Only 4

LF: Oh god. Sorry people LW usual is quite moody

LW: Oh who asked you

LF: Hey LW I'll give you a kitkat if you calm down

LW: Sir yes sir * salutes*

LF:* growls*

LW: I mean ma'am yes ma'am

LF: Much better here you are *tosses kitkat to LW who attacks it* Well we don't own nothing `cept ourselves so please read and enjoy. We both write this chapter

Lady Wolf and Lady Fox were in the garden. Lady Fox was planting her favorite flowers, silver roses while Lady Wolf was planting her favorite flowers, black roses. Both Girls were using their earth powers to make the flowers bloom. Lady Wolf was the eldest and was three-fourths wolf and one-fourths fox demon. She was a forbidden child because she was half fire half earth. Her younger half sister Lady Fox was three-fourths fox and one-fourths wolf. Like her sister she was also a forbidden child because she was half earth and half ice.

Akita, their maid came into the garden and bowed before the girls. She didn't even raise her head as she said, “ Excuse me Miladies. His Majesty the King wishes to speak to you in half an hour in the throne room.”

“Come on Wolfy. We need to go clean up to see Daddy.” Lady Fox said noticing how dirty her silver outfit was as was her sister's black outfit. Fox was anxious to meet her father to talk unlike Wolf because the king wasn't her real father but she still respected him.

“Hold on Foxy. Lets give his Majesty one of both of our flowers.” Wolf walked back to her sister's bush and grabbed a smooth stemmed silver rose and ran to her bush to grabbed a heavily thorned black rose.

Akita stood and led the girls to their huge room. Both girls took a bath and Akita, being a wind demon, used her powers to dry them quickly.

Lady Wolf wore a black spaghetti strap dress with black slip on shoes. She left her knee length black hair with white bangs and tips down. She added black eye shadow around her silver eyes with red lining. On her cheek was an upside down red teardrop that was a mark she was born with under right eye. Her black wolf ears and tail were brushed neatly with silver bows around them.

Lady Fox wore a silver spaghetti strap dress with silver slip on shoes. She also left her black hair with silver bang and tips with the very tips red down to her knees. She wore blue silver eye shadow around her silver eyes with baby blue lining. She also had an upside down red teardrop on her cheek except it was under the left eye. Her silver fox ears and tail were brushed neatly and had black bows around them.

Half an hour later they were walking side by side with roses in hand to the doors of the throne room. The oak doors opened slowly to reveal their mother Shita, and Lady Fox's father, King Kokuro. The half siblings glanced at each other when they say the grave look on their half earth fox, half earth wolf mothers face. King Kokuro was a full ice fox demon and was pacing swiftly and stiffly. Wolf watched in disgust that this stiff man had taken over her father's throne. Wolf's father, Kano was a full fire wolf. Kokuro turned to his daughter and stepdaughter and said, “My children. You are both 5 years of age and have yet to experience life outside the palace.”

Lady Fox wore a confused expression on her face while her sister Lady Wolf hid her confusion behind her mask She had built and used on her stepfather. If someone looked at her they would see a pale calm 5 year old instead of a confused child.

“My lovely daughter Wolf. Why must you hide your beauty behind such a sinful and ugly color?” Kokuro asked pointing toward her choice of outfit and makeup. Lady Wolf loved the color black for three reasons. The first reason was it if her mood. The second was because her father loved the color black. The final and best reason in her opinion was that it pissed Kokuro off when she wore the color around people he was trying to impress.

She bit her tongue to stop herself from making a rude remark so instead she asked, “ Your Majesty, please don't change the subject. Please continue what you were saying before.” She had decided not to give him the pleasure of her calling him father.

“Well, both of you know the Lightening demons have been threatening us.” Both girls nodded letting Kokuro carry on. “Their threats have been coming fiercer and fiercer. You mother and I are afraid for your safety. So we decided to send you to Ningenkai.”

“Like a vacation?” Lady Fox asked innocently.

“No. He means for forever Foxy.” Lady Wolf said coldly and her eyes narrowed dangerously.

“We are deeply sorry my children. It is for your own safety. Please understand.” Their mother interjected feebly.

“ I don't want to go, I don't want to go! You can't make me go!” Lady Fox shouted tears forming in her eyes.

King Kokuro strode forward toward Lady Fox and stopped three feet in front of her. He raised his arm, ready to backhand her and let his hand take its course to Lady Fox's pale face. This action was stopped when a small pale hand with sharp black claws quickly grabbed his wrist before he made contact. He turned his head to find it was Lady Wolf who had caught his wrist. She was growling heavily, her white canines bared and her black ears flat against her head telling him she was pissed.

She slowly released his wrist and glared at him hard. Her glare all but screamed, “Back off Baka!” He ignored the glare and handed her a wad of ningen money bigger than her fist. “This is for emergencies. Akita will be escorting you to the ningen orphanage and will be checking on you each month. Go pack a few pair of clothes and your most valuable items. You shall be leaving tomorrow at noon. Your belongings shall be sent earlier tomorrow morning.” With that he left through the side door.

Their mother stepped down from her throne and walked over to her children giving them each a hug and a kiss. Before she left she handed each of the girls a box. Lady Wolf got a black box and Lady Fox got a silver box. Then she left the room through the same door the king left through moments before.

Akita appeared behind the girl's minutes later and lead them back to their room. The girls pack seven outfits and their precious items. The roses that were meant for their parents sat on the bedside table in between the girls' beds. They sat on Lady Wolf's black bed, their ears and tails drooping with sadness and stared down at the boxes their mother gave them. Lady Wolf slowly opened her box and inside laid a black band with a wolf pendant hanging off it. The wolf was in a pose with its head raised high like it was howling. The wolf was made out of black onyx with silver lining around it. Lady Fox looked in awe at her sisters necklace and opened her own. Her necklace was also a black band except there was a fox instead of a wolf. The fox was facing left so you saw the side of it. It was made from silver and the eye was made from a red ruby, and had an onyx lining around it. Lady Wolf turned from her sister's necklace to run a slim finger down her own. Unexpectedly the necklace let out a long howl.

She turned back to her sister's necklace and ran a finger down it. Nothing happened. “Foxy, touch your necklace.” Lady Fox nodded and did as told. Her necklace let out a long growl.

Both girls took out their necklaces and put them around their necks. They were too big but the girls didn't mind. They were just happy to have two things to remember their home by, their roses and necklaces.

Lady Wolf got up and changed into silk black pajamas and climbed into bed. Lady Fox also stood and changed into her silver silk pajamas and climbed into her silver bed next to Lady Wolf's bed.
