Okay, RedFox here, this is the YYH rp that Starzie and me have been working on. It starts as a normal IM session that went horribly wrong when I said something that I shouldn't have. For future reference, I will be referred to as Red, and Starzie will be referred to as Starz. We were terribly bored at some point really late at night, so we started this. Please, fan girls, don't be terribly mad at us, but it's me and Kurama, and Starz and Hiei. Remember, you can always place yourself in one of our shoes and pretend. This is pure fiction, mixed with our creativity and insanity. I will be handling the grammar and formatting. If something is wrong with one of those, please direct the comment at me. Anything else is something I have no clue about, so please ask Starzie. I will be portraying myself, Hiei, Yusuke, Yukina, My dad (entirely fictional, my dad doesn't act anything like he is in this fic), and Botan. Starz will be handling herself, Kurama, Genkai, Tori, some random characters like a waitress and a random demon, Koenma, and Kuwabara. I'll update or tell you readers which of us portray a new character when the opportunity arises. I don't think there's anything more for me to say, so I'll get to the grammar checking (some of the bad stuff is intentional and clearly recognizable as such) and let Starzie have some comments. Oh, my author notes are in {these} and Starzie's are in ((these)).

Yes, comments. Comments are good! ^-^ Anyways, please forgive us if any of the characters are ooc. I for one don't believe they're too out of character, but that may just be me. Hmm. . . I can't think of anything that Red hasn't already said, so yeah. For once, I have hardly anything to really say *gasp* .

Red: OH!!! Did ruleroftheshinys update his yet?

Starz: ;_; No.... *starts crying*

Red: You should email him practically begging to update, or you'll die

Starz: ^-^ I should, shouldn't I? *the gears start turning in my head* Hmmmmmmm.....

Red: oh god what have I done? This is like encouraging Kuwabara to flirt with me. . . *shudder*

Red: :'(

Starz: *evil cackle* Hey, Kuwabara, Red wants to flirt wit ya!!!!

Kuwabara: Huh? REALLY!???

Red: *Runs away in terror =-O*

Starz: *dies laughing as Kuwabara takes chase*

Red: "No, you shall not have me!!! Unhand me!!! Kurama!! HELP!!!!!!!!!"

*screams*

Starz: *laughing so hard I can't breath*

Red: *screams again for Kurama as Kuwabara gives a cheesy pick up line*

Starz: ^-^ I so evil....

Kuwabara: Will you marry me????

Kurama: Did someone call me???

Red: *screams* "HELP!!! He won't leave me alone!!!" *screams*

Starz: *gets the popcorn and a front row seat*

Kurama: *sweat drops as Kuwabara unsuccessfully gets Red to marry him. Grabs him and drags him away* Sorry, Miss... He's always like this...

Starz: Damn... Kurama! ~_^

Red: *breathes heavily and watches Kuwabara being dragged away apprehensively* "Th-- Thank you. I thought he'd never leave me alone. Is there any way I can repay you?"

Starz: *shakes head* ^-^

Kurama: Er... Repay me?

Red: "Like taking you out to dinner or something for getting rid of that creepy guy. Or just a drink. Anything you want"

Starz: Yep, I knew that was coming! *pats Kurama on the back* Ya got a date

buddy!

Kurama: I would be more than happy to go out to dinner with you. *Million-dollar smile*

Red: *near turning complete and total red in the face, and gives him a huge white smile in return* "Where and when? It would be great to get out of the house every now and then. . . Thanks again for getting rid of him. Do you . . . want to . . . walk me home?"

Starz: *snickers at Red who's all girly like* Sorry, Red... Kurama's got work to do!!!

Kurama: *confused* I do?

Starz: Yep! *Pulls out a folder* Koenma sent this. Have fun on your mission! *Starts pushing him in random direction*

Red: "Do you mind if I go with you? I know ninjitsu. Most effective against

guys with no manners and girls who refuse to let me be." {*Sends Starzie an evil glare*}

Starz: -_- *thinking: damn... Gotta think of something quick...* Er... it's TOP SECRET! Yeah! That's it! Only Koenma's best can go!!! *Crafty grin*

Koenma: *poofs outta no where* Oh, there you are Kurama... I just wanted to take care of something... *snatches folder and burns it* Don't listen to Starzie... *poofs away*

Kurama: *sweat drops*

Red: {*sends Starzie a smug smile*} "So did you want to . . . um. . . *turns all red* . . . walk me home??"

Kurama: I would love to. *Offers Red his arm*

Red: "Maybe, I can meet some of your friends sometime. That baby popping out of the air was cute. *Sticks her arm around Kurama's*" "Not to mention interesting"

Kurama: *weak laugh* Yeah... Interesting... *not too thrilled because of the antics his friends usually get into. Thinking: They'll embarrass me for sure...* So, where am I walking you to, Miss Red? *doesn't know where you live...* (I'm

Red: Down about a block or two. I'm new here. Still getting used to the landmarks.

Red: Do you know Square Lane? That's where I live. A large white house."

Starz: -_- *watches as the two walk off completely ignoring me*

Kurama: *nods* Yes, I know that area well. A friend of mine lives down there.

Red: "Yes? Who lives down there? Maybe I've seen them around." {yeppers I was looking at my story intro.}

Kurama: Perhaps you've met him? His name is Yusuke Urameshi.

Red: What does he look like? I don't know names really well yet."

Kurama: Well, he has black hair. He's usually wearing his green school uniform. Oh, yes. He's also usually with Kuwabara. The person who... er... The one I 'rescued' you from...

Starz: *off in the background, discreetly following Red and Kurama and plotting* >=)

Red: I think I've seen him once or twice *sweat drops* He was with some guy with red hair, but I didn't realize that it was that guy. Kuwabara you say? He doesn't really ring a bell before tonight. I've also seen him with a short kid with pointy black hair. I've never seen him either. I've heard of you, of course, we go to the same school."

Starz: ...

Kurama: Yes, well, I suspect there isn't a single girl who hasn't heard of me. *sweat drops as rabid fan girls come to mind* And that other boy? That's Hiei.

Red: I actually was interested because I heard of your high grades. *Lies through her teeth* Maybe you could help me with biology. I have trouble with that class. . . . Gee, you know a lot of people. I bet you must get along with the guys too."

Kurama: *smiles and nods* It would be my pleasure to help you with Biology. It's my favorite subject. It's not that I know a lot of people. There are many people that know me simply because of my high scores. I only have a few select friends.

Starz: *still plotting, what I dunno yet... lol*

Red: *turns red* Thanks for the biology help. I'm better at Chemistry. How many are lucky enough to have the distinction of being your close friend?

Kurama: Well... *thinks for a moment: Hiei, Yusuke, Kuwabara, Keiko, Botan, Genkai... er... ((I know I'm missing someone... *thinks really hard* Oh well >_<))* Not very many... But the number has just increased by one. *smiles at Red*

Red: *Yusuke jumps out of the bushes* *Red screams and steps back three steps*

Yusuke: Have you seen Kuwabara, Kurama? I can't find him. He owes me dinner! *looks threateningly around*

Red: Maybe you should put a bell and a leash around that guy. He was asking me out *shudders and hugs herself* and *shudders uncontrollably* . . . *at a loss for words.

Yusuke: I don't know how many times I've tried that myself.

Starz: *sniggering in the bushes*

Kurama: I sent him off to the arcade with some money so he would leave Miss Red here alone.

Yusuke: I'll go and get my dinner. . . I mean. . . that bastard. Thanks Kurama. *runs off through the bushes stepping on Starz.* What the--?

Hiei: Ah, Yusuke, Kuwabara found me *looks sour at the pronouncement* and asked me to bring you to the arcade.

Red: *Red is still shuddering uncontrollably*

Starz: x_X Watch you're going!!! *smacks Yusuke in the head, and goes to do it again but then Hiei shows up, and she freezes* oO *dead silence as she stares stupidly at the lil' cute guy*

Kurama: *sweat drops at the scene* That, Red, would be Yusuke and Hiei...

Yusuke: *rubs head in pain* What the hell were you doing in the bushes???? *would hit you back, but Kurama's around* Hey, Hiei, how did Kuwabara get you to come and get me??? *knocks Starzie as he turns to Hiei*

Hiei: *evil glare at Yusuke* Stupid human. *looks down at Starzie quizzically*

Red: *still shuddering and doesn't answer.*

Starz: *Knocked outta her blushing spell when Yusuke hit her...left eye starts twitching... thinking: He didn't just hit me...He did...grrrrz* Excuse me, Ugly. *smacks Yusuke when he turns at the ugly comment* Ha! It doesn't matter what I was doing in the bushes, you should have been watching where you were going, dimwit!!!! *suddenly notices Hiei's quizzical look at her and starts blushes again*

Kurama: *puts a hand on Red's shoulder, and look of concern on his face* Are you alright, Miss Red?

Hiei: And you were in the bushes why? And who are you, human?

Yusuke: Yeah, I'm with shorty on this one. Who the hell are you?

Red: . . . *o0 (wide eyes)*

Starz: The name's Starzie! *glaring at Yusuke* And if you must know... I was following them. *points at Red and Kurama*

Kurama: Red? *waves a hand in front of her eyes*

Red: *tears start to form at the corners of her eyes as she stares off into space*

Yusuke: Huh?

-everyone turns to stare at Kurama and Red-

Kurama: *slightly panicked* Miss Red? Red?

Red: *tears stream down her face as she starts to seize and finally she screams. It is so loud that you can see shockwaves. Then she faints*

Hiei: What?

Yusuke: What the hell is going on here? Is she okay? Was it something I said? You did this didn't you?! *points at Starzie*

Starz: *freaks* Red!? *turns on Yusuke mad* Like I would hurt my best friend!!!! *smacks him in the head and runs over to her best friend*

Kurama: *manages to catch Red before she falls despite how startled he is* Red!?

Starz: Is she okay!?

Hiei: What is the matter with this human? You-- *points to Starzie* You know her. Where does she live.

Starz: Huh? Red? She lives in a big white house not far from here. Why? *almost freaking herself*

Kurama: *definitely freaking he tries to gently shake her awake* Red!?

Hiei: Yusuke, find Botan or Genkai. *looks at Starz* They might be able to help. *Yusuke runs off.* *Making sure no one is listening* (whisper) she'll be fine *to Starzie*

Red: {He's being nice to you as best he can}

Starz: *nodes a little relieved* O-okay... *turns back to Kurama and Red, still concerned*

Kurama: *still trying to get Red to come around*

Red: *stirs a little, eyelids fluttering, then lays still again*

Hiei: We'll try to get her to her house, her parents might be awake.

Starz: Yeah, they should be awake... I can lead the way... *suddenly thinks of

something* But how will Yusuke find us again? You said he was going to get someone who might be able to help???

Kurama: Come on, Red! *trying extra hard to get her to come around that he's had some success*

Hiei: Kurama. Kurama my friend. *trying to take his attention away from the ailing girl.*

Kurama: *looks up, a little startled because he hadn't noticed anyone else had shown up*

Hiei: Kurama. I need you to follow the human *points to you* Starz. . . to this one's *points to Red* house. I need to catch up to Yusuke and inform him of the change of plans. Can you do that?

Hiei: Don't forget to take the injured one with you.

Starz: *tries to help Kurama with Red, but he proves he doesn't need any by easily lifting her up and carrying her bridal style* It's not far. It should only take a few minutes... *she suddenly trails off and a vacant look settles onto her face*

Hiei: Now what? *Looks at Starz* Excuse me if this all seems too dramatic.

Starz: *she suddenly snaps out of it at Hiei's voice, and puts a hand to her head, the beginnings of a major headache starting* I-it's nothing... *shakes her head and tries to forget about that weird happening, but alas fate has different plans... She suddenly sways, nearly losing her balance as the headache becomes ten times worse... finally she just collapses*

Hiei: Wonderful. Could this night get any worse? *Yusuke and Kuwabara show up* Ah. Seems I spoke too soon. It can and has gotten worse. *Calls to Yusuke* I told you to get help, not hindrances!!!

Yusuke: I got Botan first. *Suddenly sees Starz on the ground. Not her too. Damn man, what is this, night of the damsels in distress? Anyway, Botan went to get Genkai

Kuwabara: *to Hiei after the hindrance remark* Shut up, Hamster Legs! *shakes a fist, but ignores him upon seeing the two girls... this stupid look crosses his face and suddenly he starts frets over first Red and then Starz*

Kurama: *does his best to keep Kuwabara away from his Red*

Hiei: SHUT UP!!! *seems startled at his own outburst.* Kuwabara, lead the way to a white house down the road. Do you know it? * not waiting for an answer, he picks up Starz textbook hero style and glares at Kuwabara.* Move it Second best.

Yusuke: What about me? I've seen the house before. I saw Red mowing her lawn just last week. I'll lead the way. Kuwabara, go ahead to see if her parents are home.

Starz: *she unconsciously buries her head into Hiei's chest, trying to mentally block out her headache*

Kuwabara: *he nodes and runs off, anything for a girl in distress...... And he gives Yusuke a dirty look for his comment*

Yusuke: Come to think of it, I've never seen her parents before. And I just sent Kuwabara to deal with them. I must be turning evil.{got it}

Hiei: If her parents aren't home, what do you suggest we do? *trying to ignore the stare he's getting from Yusuke for the girl getting comfy in his arms*

Kurama: *startled once more* I... It might be best if we took them to Genkai's... This... This can't be a normal happening...

Yusuke: *still looking at the spectacle of Hiei getting attention from a girl besides his sister* Yes, but only if her parents aren't home. Then we'll leave a note on the door.

Hiei: Makes sense. *seems contented with you in his arms* *Kuwabara comes running into sight*

Kuwabara: *he comes skidding to a halt in front of the group, out of breath* N-no one's home.... *trying, and failing to catch his breath* What are we gonna do now?

Kurama: *has managed to collect most of his wits* We'll have to take them to Genkai's Temple, then. Genkai will probably know what to do from there.

Yusuke: Alright. It seems we have no choice. *pulls a pen and paper out from his pocket, scribbles a hasty note, and hands it to Kuwabara* Here, take this and make sure her parents can find it when they come home.

*Hiei is staring down at Starz with curiosity and concern on his face.*

Starz: *finally, she starts to relax, but as the pain goes, she slips completely into dreamland*

Kuwabara: *pushes the note back into Yusuke's hands* Damn man, what am I? Your errand boy? You go do it! I've already ran there once! *glares*

Hiei: *gives evil death glare to Kuwabara.* You're nothing better than an errand boy, so do it.

Yusuke: Besides, you owe me. You never got me dinner. Think of this as square.

*Hiei looks down as he feels her relax and sees her asleep. He then shifts her to a more comfortable position. Closer to his chest.*

Kuwabara: *to Hiei* You wanna say that to my face!? *then he turns on Yusuke* And what the hell are you talking about? I don't owe you anything!!!!

Kurama: *the bickering is getting on his nerves* Please, stop this! Kuwabara, take the note to Red's house. This is neither the time nor the place for this immature bickering! *looks back down at Red, hoping his slightly raised voice hadn't bothered her, but she seems content in his arms and he smiles at that*

Kuwabara: Aw man... alright, but only because you asked! *snatches the note back from Yusuke and takes off again*

Yusuke: I dunno if Genkai knows yet. But lets get there as fast as we can. I want to know what the hell is going on.

Hiei: *looks down at the still sleeping Starz in his arms.* (thinks-- I would like to know as well.)

Red: *Breathes hard and sweats like it's 90* outside* *groans and then has a sharp intake of breath.*

Kurama: *tries to comfort Red any way he can* Yusuke is correct. We must hurry.

Starz: *Starz's eyes suddenly flutter open and she greeted by black...next she notices that someone is /holding/ her...discreetly, while pretending to still be

asleep, she glances up for the barest of seconds to see who had her... she closes her eyes tight, trying to fight the blush that coming over her face, but she fails miserably and is now all red and still pretending to be a sleep...she hopes Hiei doesn't realize she's awake*

Hiei: *feels warmth on his chest* {cuz if we lost it, we'd lose the originality of the story!!!} *looks down, sees her face calm, albeit a little red, and looks back to Yusuke*

Yusuke: Should I run ahead and see if they're ready for something like this? Kurama?

Kurama: Yes, that would be best. Ask Genkai to get two rooms ready. Hiei and I should arrive shortly after you do.

Kuwabara: *comes skidding up to the group once more, now twice as out of breath as before* D-done...The note's... *gasp for air* on the door... *wheeze* in plain sight....

Yusuke: Come on Kuwabara, we're heading to Genkai's to make sure everything is ready. We don't have to go really fast, just fast enough to make sure two rooms are ready for them *points to us*

Hiei: Yes, just make sure the things are ready.

Yusuke: *looks funnily at Hiei at that remark* Right. Isn't that what I just said? *sweat drops as the evil death glare comes into sight* Going going. Let's go Kuwabara!*runs off*

Kuwabara: *Tries to copy Hiei's death glare* I've done enough running, damnit! I'm walking from here to Genkai's! *stamps foot to show he's serious*

Kurama: *for once his patience is close to gone* Then you will be left behind! There is no time for your games. *he starts walking off, as fast as he can go without disturbing Red*

Kuwabara: Huh? What'd I do!? *totally lost*

*as Kuwabara is being left behind due to his stubbornness*

Hiei: Kurama. You just met this female and you already seem to care for her. It is . . . unusual for you.

Red: *breathing starts to slow down and she shivers slightly* (whispers very softly) no. . . no. . .

Starz: *listening very carefully to this conversation*

Kurama: *he smiles faintly at what Hiei just said, and then brings Red closer when she shivers* Yes, well... *he shakes his head, not sure how to respond, so he instead turns the conversation around* What about you, Hiei? *he motions toward Starz in his arms* If my behavior is unusual, yours is truly shocking.

Hiei: I. . . do not know. . . how I feel about this. It . . . *looks for words* baffles me. I. . . do not like this feeling. It is . . . different.

Red: *face contorts with pain and she screams loudly, though not as loudly as before. It seems she's getting hoarse.* NO!!!!! I WON'T LET IT HAPPEN!!! *All happens with her eyes closed. like she doesn't know what she's doing*

Starz: *so startled by her friend's cry she jerks, and automatically her eyes fly open to see if her friend is okay*

Kurama: *nearly drops Red he's so startled, but he immediately holds her close, leaning down to whisper comforting words* Shhh, everything is fine, Red. Nothing is going to happen. I promise.

Red: *starting like Kurama did, he knocked a strange silver necklace out of her shirt holding a piece of Opal.*

Red: *now so hoarse, she couldn't yell if she wanted to, is reduces to a whisper* no. . . no. . . (basically every few seconds.

Hiei: *looks startled at Starz' sudden awakening. He looks straight into her eyes with no contempt.* You changed the subject again old friend. You never told me why you care for her. Red did you say?

Starz: *she looks away from Hiei, red splashing across her face again.*

Kurama: *he only holds Hiei's gaze for a moment before glancing down at Red, brow furrowed as he thinks of what he can say* *it's then, as he's gazing down at her, that he notices the necklace. He toys with it while he thinks* I... I'm not sure how to explain it... There's something different about her... It sets her apart from any other girl I've ever met... *he shrugs, at a loss for words*

Hiei: I don't understand. Why would a human have a special quality about her when she's shown nothing out of the ordinary before? *looks at Starz, who is looking forward, not bothering to tell her to get out of his arms and walk, and a tinge of pink touches his cheeks*

Starz: *Starz gets that feeling, the one where you know someone's watching you, and she glances up, inadvertently meeting Hiei's gaze, she manages to hold his gaze for a full second longer than before, before looking away*

Kurama: *he smiles at what Hiei just said* I'm sorry, Hiei. This isn't something I can explain. It's just something I feel, and feelings can be near impossible to put into words sometimes. I believe you experienced what I am talking about when you tried explaining your actions concerning Miss Starz. Am I right?

Hiei: *sighs and looks up to the sky. (I used to like the night sky, now it heralds violence and danger. Maybe I need my own little Starz to make it simple again.)

Red: *lies extremely still and gets cold. shivers again.*

RedFox here again, and that is episode one. We have up through the rest of what we have dubbed `season one' finished. Which is at least twelve episodes. We're making it thirteen or fourteen so that we can end it well. But if there are problems, email the authoresses. Whom it is directed at shall be the subject, and we'll try to answer promptly, but only I RedFox shall see them during July. Starzie will be out of State, only allowed on the computer for brief periods of time. I will continue to format what we have done and do an episode posting each week.
