Kurama sighed. It had been four months since Hiei left him and he still hadn't gotten over it. "What am I gonna tell my friends. `Oh, I cant go to the Christmas party you guys planned for about a month and invited me to first because I'm still not over Hiei!' yeah right", he said to himself. He got up and went downstairs to try and find something to do to take his mind off of the fire demon and he found his mom in the kitchen. "Oh, Shuichi! Your still here? Shouldn't you be going to Yusuke's party", Shiori said, trying hard to ignore the black streaks in his red hair. "I'm not going mother", Kurama told her. Shiori stood up suddenly. "Shuichi! You are going to go to Yusuke's house for this party", Shiori said. "Fine I'll go", Kurama said, putting on his shoes and walking out the door. Once he got to Yusuke's apartment he knocked on the door and Kayko opened it. "Hi Kurama", she said smiling slightly. Kurama nodded and walked inside, taking his shoes off at the door. Yusuke saw him and smiled. "Hey, Kurama! We were just about to start a talent show! You can go first if you want", Yusuke said, sitting down on the couch next to Botan. Kurama nodded and stood up in front of them all. "I heard this song on the radio once…", he said looking at them.

Kurama went and sat down, tears streaking his face. Everyone else was staring at him. "That was for…Hiei…wasn't it", Yukina asked. Kurama nodded and began sobbing into the shoulder of the person sitting next to him, and that person happened to be…HIEI!!!
