Don't own him. *sobs*

Hiei: Damn right. *hides Kurama in closet*

Yukina: What are you doing?

Hiei: … Hn.

(In closet, Kurama's eye twitches rapidly)

/remembering/
*-*

Last time:

“Shiori is pregnant.”

“Koenma wants to see you.”

“LET ME SEE KURAMA-KUN!!!!!”

*-*

Koenma glanced at the woman sitting impatiently across from him, grimacing at the glare she sent him. Cautiously, he called, “George?”

George peeked in, looking at the woman with wide eyes. “Is it s-safe, K-K-Koenma sir?”

“Clean up the broken stuff and throw it away.”

While the blue demon, who was looking sort of green, cleaned up the mess, Koenma began to talk. “Now. Tsukiko, did you say?”

“Tch.”

Koenma winced. “Alright. Why do you want to see Kurama?”

She glared. “That is my business, and mine alone.”

“Well. I hid these items in my office so that they wouldn't get broken, so, I have called Kurama to keep you from breaking any more.”

“I didn't see you pick up one of those human contraptions… Phones, right?”

“Yes, quite. I simply contacted Hiei, who told Kurama.”

She stiffened. “Hiei?”

He nodded. “Is there something wrong with that?”

She rapidly shook her head. “No. I misheard you. I thought you said Hinei.”

Koenma looked baffled. “Yes, well, why would I have contact with a soul thief?”

Tsukiko shrugged. “How would I know?”

George left with a giant bag full of broken items, and Hiei flitted in, perching on the edge of Koenma's desk, breaking the uncomfortable silence. “Kurama's on his way. He had to make an excuse for Shiori, I think.”

Koenma grinned. “Oh? How is she doing?”

“Four months and growing. Yuusuke didn't see it. I suppose he thought she was just getting fat.”

Koenma sighed. “Haven't you beaten some sense into him, yet?”

“… You've forbidden me, if I remember correctly.”

Koenma put his head in his hand. “Damn. Fine, then, go do it now.”

“…” Koenma looked up, and Tsukiko was staring blankly at the spot Hiei had just been.

“Shiori? Is… Kurama mated?”

Koenma laughed. “No, no. Shiori is Kurama's Moth… er…” He cowered as Tsukiko seemed to grow twice her size.

“Kurama's mother is DEAD!”

“Alright, alright!”

There was a soft knock at the door, and the door opened to reveal Kurama in all his long, red-headed glory. Wearing a tank-top. Behind him, Botan drooled.

“Koenma, you wanted to see me?”

At the same time, Tsukiko snorted. “Who's the pretty boy?”

Kurama ignored her and leaned against a wall. “What happened to you, Kurama? I've never seen you wear anything like that before.”

Kurama sighed, not seeing the girl freeze up. “Shuichii's fan club attacked me. I had to give them my shirt.”

Tsukiko broke into Koenma and Botan's laughter. “Th-that's Kur- Kurama?” She grew angry. “That's NOT my Kurama-kun!”

Kurama glanced at her. “Excuse me, miss? Might I inquire after your name, and who you are looking for?”

Tsukiko glared at him, lip curling. “Tsukiko, sister to Yoko Kurama, whom I am searching for. I heard a rumor that he was here. This… baby confirmed that.”

Koenma sulked.

Kurama froze. “Yes... His sister, you say?”

Her left eye twitched. “YES! I am his sister! Where the HELL is he?”

Koenma took in a deep breath. “Miss Tsukiko, perhaps Botan could explain this to you.”

Botan, forgotten until now, grinned. “Yoko Kurama died… Er… I forget how, but he did. His spirit found shelter inside the unborn child, Shuichii.”

Tsukiko was silent for a moment. / “Shuichii's fan club attacked me. I had to give them my shirt.”/

/ Shuichii's fan club attacked me./

/Shuichii's fan club/

/Shuichii/

“K… Kurama-kun?” The girl's voice was a tormented whisper. “Then…” She turned to the red-head, who was now worriedly playing with his rose. “You're Kurama?”

“Yes, miss Tsukiko. I am. And… You are his sister?”

“You… You don't remember me…”

Botan coughed. “Yes, well. Kurama doesn't remember much of his past life as Yoko Kurama. Some blurs of killing and such, but…”

Kurama nodded.

Tsukiko put her hands to her face and her shoulders started to shake. “H-he told me that he'd be right back… HE LIED TO ME!” She sobbed, then latched on to Kurama's arm, whispering, “You lied to me…”

Kurama, not knowing what to do, timidly putting an arm around the sobbing girl. Then he took a good look at her.

She was relatively short. Okay, more than that. She was about Hiei's height, maybe shorter. She was extremely slender, and her pale skin gave her an ethereal glow. Her hair was almost white, with large sections of silver surrounding her face, the whole of it in a braid that hung to the small of her back. Orange-ish red lips gave the only bit of color on her face, and soft white fox ears twitched as she cried. She wore a very loose white traditional kimono, with the sleeves ripped off at the shoulders. Her feet were bare. And underneath the loose kimono, there was a small bulge.

When she stopped, she sat up and wiped her eyes. “I'm sorry,” She said, her voice catching, “It's just…” She shook her head, muttering, “Damn mood swings.”

Botan giggled. “You're pregnant, aren't you?” Surprised, Tsukiko nodded. Botan giggled again. “So is Shuichii's mother. I could tell because she's acting the same way.”

“Yes, well.” She glanced at Kurama, her narrow hazel eyes sad. “You don't remember me.”

“I'm, afraid not.”

“It's alright.” Suddenly she grinned. “Wow. I would never have guessed that you'd inhabit a ningen.”

Kurama shook his head.

“Oi, Kurama! Who's the pretty kid?”

Tsukiko glared at Yuusuke's sudden entrance. “I. Am. Not. A. Kid.”

“Yuusuke, you would do well not to speak to my sister like that. You do have a girlfriend, after all.”

Silence.

Then…

“SISTER?!”
