P1:  >P!!!!!!   Last Time:   The only thoughts that were running around their head were like ‘Oh my………..’ ‘Poor kid…’ ‘this is terrible….’ ‘So a kid’s going to help us huh?’ ‘what?.......’   But one thing’s for sure Hiei’s thoughts went with Kurama’s‘This is not good”   Chapter 5 (4???...)   ‘This isn’t good.’ Hiei thought. ‘Yuki-chan’s reiki has already been worse when she was forced to move. Taking away her mother……., I wouldn’t want to think of what could happen to her.’ Kurama’s mind voice was laced with worry as it entered Hiei’s head. ‘What? Explain Fox!’ ‘Didn’t you ever notice when she was around people or places and things that bring her comfort, her spirit energy has mostly been stable?’ ‘Now that you’ve mentioned it…’ ‘For her, familiarity equals stability. When she left for England, she’s leaving behind a lot of those things, including us.’ ‘I see, so right now she’s probably going haywire.’ ‘Most likely, yes. Like when I first found her being chased after by a demon.’   Hiei and Kurama both know that her mother’s disappearance was definitely worse than just being chased by a demon. They could only imagine what their friend is going through right now. Tsuki Hino may have continued training her in using reiki, but an experience like this could very well upset her internal balance and ruin what little control she gained. If they have to go to England for this, they better do it quick. Even if she can defend herself with her high skills, all the training she got would be useless if she were to find herself lacking in reiki.   ‘Hn.Then what are we waiting for?’ At this thought, both looked at Botan who’s finished summarizing and clearing things up to the two idiots. “When are we leaving?” Kurama asked Botan. Yusuke and Kuwabara had started another fight again behind them. ‘Couldn’t those two behave for once?’ “You’ll be leaving in a week, so you all get ready your things! Koenma’s already got excuses for everyone so no worries there!” Was her usual cheery reply. By now, the dimwit and the have finished their brawl and were saying their goodbyes.   During Hiei’s and Kurama’s mind conversation.   Yusuke watched Kurama and Hiei exchange glances as Botan was briefing them on the finer parts of the mission the toddler forgot to explain. ‘They’re probably having another private chit-chat again.’ He thought to himself. Yusuke understands that there some things that’s only between the understanding of his two companions, but man! It’s a bit annoying to be ignored while those two were in their own little world. And finding out Keiko’s a witch? That girl has got some explaining to do. Yusuke turned back to the ferry girl just as she caught him lost in thought.   “Yusuke! Are you listening?” “Yeah, yeah, whatever.” “Pay attention! This is important!” “Okay, okay, sheesh!” “You, and your team, are to locate, and if possible retrieve, the missing Lady Hino. You are also going to Hogwarts and learn all you can about this Voldemort person and the demonic activity that’s been at large all over in England. And you are also going to help watch over Miss Hino even if she did receive her training. There’s report on attempts on her life even in her guardian’s care.” “So we’re suppose to be baby sitting as well? You just said she’s got training already!” Yusuke asked with exasperated expression on his face. “It won’t be just babysitting Yusuke, You see, her Reiki levels are unstable, she’ll be attracting demons everywhere! There are already several reports of attempts on her life even in her guardian’s care. We are only lucky that none of the wizards have noticed anything yet. They already have problems of their own.” Botan’s expression was far from her usual cheery-ness. It was clear that this is a very important matter. “Okay, so we just make sure no unwanted demons drop in for unfriendly visits right?” “But what about her guardian?” Kuwabara who was quiet for some time finally spoke up. “Can’ he do anything about it?” “No.” They all turned to Keiko who the answered the question. “Magic can only do so much against reiki or youki type of attacks” the small girl had been silent up until now. “Well then, the mighty Kuwabara will be there to save the day!” he declared. “Yeah right.” At Yusuke’s remark, the usual never ending battle between the started up again. Hiei came over and bopped the two on the head just as Kurama and Botan’s conversation ended and they all went back to their daily lives giving Genkai some peace.   The next week………..   “Okay! Is everyone ready????” A perky Botan was bouncing on the balls of her feet while the rest of the team (The Spirit Detectives, Genkai, Yukina, Keiko) were milling about the airport. It’s been a week and they have all given their excuses to their families/friends about why they were suddenly leaving. It had been one hectic week for everyone. Learning the concepts of magic in a small amount of time was exhausting even for demons but they managed to catch up quick. They gathered up supplies with the help of Keiko who was familiar with the magic world and it had amused the most of them when said girl kept hexing our poor delinquent when he managed to cross her enough. So now they were all here, for the added info the spirit guide was suppose to give them while waiting for the plane that was taking them to England to arrive.   “(yhhhhaawwnnnn…..) I still don’t know why we had to wake up this early.” Yusuke complained. “Yusuke, you know we always have to arrive at least three hours before departure.” Kurama explained. “Yeah, yeah, I gotcha. But why can’t we just make a portal or something?” “You know, that’s actually a good question. Botan, why are we taking a plane instead of just using magic?” asked Keiko. “Uh well you see,….. we are going to need proof to the non-magic folk at least that you guys left the country. Except maybe for Hiei and Yukina, since they came from Makai and all” the spirit guide babbled while fiddling her fingers. “They’ll be meeting you over there.hehe” “Then why am I even here?” the little demon spoke for the first time that day. “Because Botan’s giving us the extra information Koenma was talking about and to wish your fellow teammates a good voyage.” Kurama explained. “I could care less” Hiei said under breath. It was low enough that only Kurama caught it, making the fox chuckle a bit.   “All right everyone, listen up! Here it is…..” Botan was now calling their attention. (“’bout damn time—aww! Keiko!)” You’ll be meeting with members of the Order of the Phoenix, ‘course, they don’t know we know about them. They’re the resistance group against Voldemort- the main suspect in Hino-san’s abduction- and they’ll be bringing you the school and help you guys catch up more to your year level. That’s also where Hino-san’s daughter is living, with her guardian- At the mention of Reiyuki, Hiei and Kurama shared a look, confirming with the other to some hidden agenda. No one seemed to have noticed them.  ‘This will be a good opportunity to see her again, isn’t it?’ ‘…..keh, whatever’ their mind voices spoke to each other. - and the rest of the school will be coming up on Sept 1st. That should give you all time to familiarize yourselves with the surroundings before the students arrive and get to know Reiyuki Hino. OH! I almost forgot, Yukina, you and Hiei will be taking a portal to Hogsmeade- the wizarding village nearby- tomorrow afternoon. You’ll be posing as cousins and some teachers will be meeting you there . . . (“what!” ”Hiei, relax, she said cousins!” “That’s quite alright by me…” “My Yukina! No way!” “sigh…..” “…..”) um.. yeah…. Well that’s it! I think that’s your plane coming in now so tah-tah. See you all in England!” and with that, Botan disappeared off to who knows where. Everybody blink at the sight before scrambling to get their stuff ready for boarding (minus Hiei and Yukina) the plane. It would be a few hours more before they land and Yukina and Hiei went back to get ready for their trip tomorrow.
