Ch.1 Birthday Surprise and a Wish
(bell rings for math class)
Thy sat in the corner in the back of the class with all her friends whispering around but she barely notices since math class was driving her through dreamland. Right now she's wearing a white tank top with 2 black dragons encircling a flaming sword with light blue jean shorts,(though its winter but hasn't been snowing at all for the past 5 years that she forgot about it). The sky remained cloudy and its kind of warm as the breeze blew by her face(she's sitting by the window).
'OMG! All my friends are probably talking about their dates...again! It's my birthday today on Valentine's and nobody even cares. No boy even bothered to ask me out, just my luck,' Thy thought. Today she left her usually long, black, waist length hair tied in a high ponytail. 'Man, is Mr. Leung going to go on and on about stupid geometry,' she sighed.
Finally the bell rang for lunch, Thy wobbly walked out and was caught by a certain person, Brett, her best friend. "Whoa, a little sleepy aren't we?" He laughed. "Oh shut up," she said and giggled a bit as she pulled away, "I just came out of a class I'm failing okay? Hey do you have any idea why alot of people are avoiding me these days? It's starting to bug me." Brett smiled, "that's why I'm here. Come to your house at 5:00 today okay? Don't go running all over town or you'll regret it," he frowned a bit. A confused look came over Thy's face and Brett just gave one last smile before walking away.
5:00pm Thy arrived after going to look for some friends but reamained unsuccessful. 'Well I'm home,' she sighed,'Can't wait to see Hiei in the finals of the Dark Tournament tonight,' she smiled. Thy opened the door to her house er mansion is more like it and immediately everything was pitch black. She walked through the doorway as the door closed behind her by itself! Now she was consumed by darkness.
Thy screamed a bit, "Hello? Mom? Dad? Willy? Ramsley?"(the butler's name lol). Suddenly the lights went on and everything became totally bright as Thy saw a huge banner across the stairs saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY THY!" All 200 of her friends came running down 3 staircases singing happy birthday. Tears ran down Thy's cheeks as she grinned at all her friends and Brett holding a very huge ice-cream cake with Hiei's picture holding a sword with his dragon in the background. "Happy birthday Thy," Brett smiled. "OMG guys you really shouldn't have," Thy said who was still in tears. "We've planned this for weeks you know, that's why we kept avoiding you," Brett said. Another friend, Mimi squeezed through the crowd,"Like the picture? I told them to make it. Even though we all know he's not real and ya still love him," she said jokingly. Everyone else laughed as Thy blushed madly, 'great now everybody knows,' she thought. "Come one Thy blow out the candles!" Mimi said eagerly. Thy smiled and closed her eyes,'I know this may sound wierd but... I wish that I get to be with Hiei,' she wished in her head and blew out all 15 candles. Loud applause filled the mansion. "I'm also afraid we have bad news," a voice yelled silencing everyone. Thy turned around to see her dad, mom and little brother, Willy, smirking.
