Principal Tonoko closed the file and laid his hands on top of it, his fingers laced together. “I see that you have a very interesting history, Konone.” Konone looked over at him, her sea blue eyes piercing directly at him.
“And your point is?” Konone tucked her hands in her pockets and continue to stare at him.
“My point is, is how can you; yourself, can take care of your sister and still be able to pay for a home.” Konone closed her eyes.
“That’s none of your concern. All you need to know is that I have the money to support for Narumi and me.” She huffed softly and stared out the window as she watches a blue jay fly by.
“I see that you’re very secretive, Konone.” The principal rubbed his chin. Konone shrugged her shoulders.
“And that’s a problem because…?”
“With that type of attitude you won’t be able to make any friends.” Konone darted her cold eyes back at him.
“I could care less about friends.” The principal raised an eyebrow, but didn’t ask any more questions. “Can I go back to class now, Principal Tonoko?” The principal sighed.
“Yes you may go back to class.” Konone turned her back from him and started to walk out of the door.
“Oh! Konone, one more thing,” Konone turned her head towards him, “be good.” He finished. Konone rolled her eyes.
“Whatever.” She huffed and left.
Konone stepped into the hallway, and a boy who had neck length brown hair and neon blue eyes looked over at her. “How was it?” He asked, leaning his back against the wall. Konone looked at him with the corner of her eyes. “Just fine, just fine, Arashi.” She replied, running her hands through her neon blue hair. Arashi nodded his head. “How’s Nasuki?” “She’s fine. Right now she’s at home, in bed asleep.” Konone nodded her head.
“That’s good, I guess. What time will the home nurse be there?” “She should be there by six o’clock tonight, hopefully.” Konone closed her eyes and nodded her head.
“Hopefully. Pour girl, how long has she been suffering now?” “Almost six months.” Arashi frowned, and looked to the floor, tucking his hands in his pockets. Konone sighed and looked at her watch.
“Meet me at lunch, OK?” Arashi nodded his head.
“See you then.” The two parted away, and Konone walked back down the hallway to class.
“The bell hasn’t ringed yet, Hamasaki-san.” Konone rolled her eyes.
“So? It’s about to.” Konone replied, pulling her stuff to her chest.
“One of the rules for this class is that no one should get ready to leave till the bell rings.” Konone rolled her eyes.
“Well, I did.” She huffed softly. Mrs.Naru crossed her arms.
“I’ll let you off with a warning just this once, Hamasaki-san, but next time, it’s after school detention.” Konone shrugged her shoulders.
“Whatever.” The boys in the classroom snickered softly. Melony flipped her hair over her shoulder and the bell ring for lunch. Konone quickly stood up and walked out of the door to the cafeteria, Arashi following after her.
Konone bit into her apple and huffed. “This school is weird,” Konone complained. Arashi nodded his head.
“Agreed.” Konone threw her apple core over her shoulder and it landed in the trash can.
“Who’s the next person we assassin tonight?” Arashi pulled some papers from his bag and push his glasses back over the arch of his nose. “Some guy name Master Kido.” Konone closed her eyes.
“I see. From the sound of his name, and from what I’m predicting, he has a black belt in karate.” Arashi put the papers back in his bag. Konone opened her eyes. “I also predict that he is safely protected from Prince Koenma’s spirit detectives.” Arashi smirked, this glint coming into his eyes.
“They won’t be a problem at all.” Konone stared at him blankly.
“But you don’t know that, now do you?” Arashi shrugged.
“I don’t have to know to know that we both can beat the team with ease.” Konone shook her head.
“Never underestimate your enemies.” Arashi blinked at her.
“You okay, Konone?”
“Of course I’m okay. I’m just saying not to underestimate your enemies.” Arashi huffed.
“We need to form a plan, and a real good one at that.” Arashi nodded his head and pulled out a pen and a note pad.
“What’s the plan?” Konone closed her eyes and thought for a moment. She then opens them back up and words freely came out of her mouth. Arashi wrote every word down on the pad and handed it to Konone. Konone looked over the plan and nodded her head.
“Exactly.” She handed him the pad back to him. “We’ll leave as soon as we get off from work tonight.” Arashi nodded.
“Right.” The bell for to return back to class rung. The two picked up their belongings and quickly left.
“Thanks, sis.” Konone walked over to Narumi. “So, tell me, how does it feel to be finally thirteen?” Narumi giggled.
“It feels great!” She jumped in the air and her chains swayed with her. Konone chuckled softly.
“You’re starting to turn out like me.” Narumi rolled her eyes.
“You wish, sis.” Konone chuckled softly and looked at her watch.
“Well, your present is at the back; go open it.” Konone smiled at Narumi and went upstairs to her room to get dressed for work.
Narumi’s eyes sparkled and she left to outside. “Surprise! Happy birthday, Narumi!” Arashi, Melony, and Nasuki yelled. Narumi’s eyes widen from the surprise. “But… how?” She asked confused. Konone chuckled softly.
“I jumped out of the window before you walked out.” Narumi smiled and kissed her sisters cheek. “Thank you, Konone.” Konone chuckled and grinned.
“No prob.” She ruffled her little sister’s hair.
“Hey! You’re going to mess up my hair!” She called, flaring her arms about. Melony and Arashi laughed. Narumi pouted. “You guys are no fun!” She punched Konone’s shoulder lightly. Konone chuckled and rubbed her arm.
“Whoah, someone is in a bad mood!” Narumi huffed and looked to the side.
“Humph!” Nasuki pulled her wheel chair up to Narumi.
“Happy birthday, Narumi-chan.” Nasuki held her gift over to Narumi. She smiled and took it. Nasuki laid her hands back in her lap and smiled up at Narumi. Narumi slowly opened the present and smiled. It was a fox necklace that had her name carved in it. She looked down at Nasuki and bent over and hugged her.
“Thank you, Nasuki.” She said with a grateful tone. “I love it.” Nasuki smiled and hugged her back friendly. Konone smiled brightly at the two girls and leaned her shoulder against Arashi. “Those two remind me of us back when we were their age.” Arashi chuckled and wrapped his arms around Konone’s waist. He nibbled her ear softly.
“I know.” Konone closed her eyes and smirked.
Prince Koenma looked over his files frantically. “Team Urameshi, you can come in now.” The gang walked on in, their shoes tapping to the tile floor as they walked.
“What now, Koenma?” Yusuke asked irritated. Koenma straighten his papers again and placed them on his desk.
“Two new villains appeared just recently and the two has been killing numerous of demons and humans. And from what I’ve read over my files their next target is Master Kido.” Yusuke sighed.
“Do you know anything about the new villains?”
“One is a girl and the other is a boy.” Yusuke blinked but nodded.
“What do you want us to do, Koenma?” “That’s simple, Yusuke, I want you and the gang to go over to Master Kido’s temple and protect him. I also want you to capture the assassins.” Yusuke shrugged.
“Sounds simple enough.” Kurama stepped up.
“Do you know anything about the two’s powers or what they are.” Koenma sighed,
“To tell you the truth, I really don’t know. All that I know is that the two fight with katana’s.” Kurama nodded his head.
“I see.” Yusuke scratches his cheek.
“When do you want us to leave?” Yusuke asked, tucking his hands in his pockets.
“Right now.” Koenma pulled a portal up and the boys stepped through it.
Konone skated back to the car, a tray of food in her hand. “Enjoy your meal.” She smiled, and took the money and her tip. Once the driver to the tray Konone skated back to where Arashi was sleeping at. Konone huffed and slapped his cheek. “Wake up! I’m tired of doing your work, so get your lazy ass up!” Arashi growled and glared at her.
“Can’t a guy sleep?” He asked, giving her a stern glare. Konone returned the glare.
“Not on the job you can’t.” She crossed her arms over her chest. Arashi huffed.
“You’re no fun.” Konone rolled her eyes.
“I don’t have to be fun to get your lazy ass up. Now, get back to work!” Arashi rolled his eyes.
“Fine, fine, fine.” He skated over to his next car and Konone leaned her back against the wall.
“What would I do without him?” She rolled her eyes and chuckled softly. “I’m still surprised people hasn’t asked if we’re going out or not.” She chuckled softly and looked up at the ceiling. “But we’re not.” She said to herself, a smirk forming on her features.
After three hours of hard work the two finally left to go back to Konone’s house. When they got there they noticed that Narumi and Nasuki were asleep. Konone smiled at the two and Arashi chuckled softly. “I’ll see you later, Konone.” Konone nodded her head and Arashi pushed Nasuki’s wheel chair out of the cabin. Konone looked over at Narumi and carefully picked her up and carried her upstairs to her room. She carefully laid her in her bed and smiled.
“Night, Narumi.” She kissed her sisters forehead and left the room. She walked across the hallway to her own room and sat on her bed. She pulled out her homework and quickly started it. In less then ten minutes, she was done with all of her homework. Konone stood up, changed her clothes, and put a black cape on. She slid the hood over her head and jumped out of the window, landing on the ground gracefully. She looks back up at the window and snapped her fingers; the window closed. Konone smirked and left.

Konone tapped her pencil against her desk, getting kinda bored of listening to her teacher lecturing about our environment. She looked out the window, watching the passing by birds and squirrels jumping into trees. She darted her eyes at the clock, glaring at it lightly at the time; ten more minutes till lunch. She looked back up the board; nothing but nonsense written all over it. She huffed softly and looked down at her paper, doodles all over it. Someone poked her elbow and she looked to the side to see who got her attention. Arashi held up five fingers, meaning for five minutes left. Konone nodded her head and started to stack her stuff together. The teacher, Mrs.Naru, tapped her foot to the tile floor as she looked over at Konone. Konone raised an eyebrow. “What?” She asked.“The bell hasn’t ringed yet, Hamasaki-san.” Konone rolled her eyes.
“So? It’s about to.” Konone replied, pulling her stuff to her chest.

Konone dropped her bags on the floor of the cabin. Narumi walked down the stairs, her hips swaying from side to side. Konone looked up at Narumi and chuckled softly. “I like your new look.” Konone complimented. Narumi smiled brightly and nodded. Narumi was wearing a short black skirt that was four inches above her knees. She also wore a grey long sleeve shirt that had a skull around the chest the area, and the sleeves were black that flared out at the end. Her hair was grayish looking silver and they were into two big spiky pig tails. Konone smirked and Narumi. “Happy birthday, Narumi.” Narumi’s smile widens.“Thanks, sis.” Konone walked over to Narumi. “So, tell me, how does it feel to be finally thirteen?” Narumi giggled.
