Author's Notes: I wanted to do a poem of Jin the Wind Master and of course, he's obviously crushing on some human woman. I threw this together while in a lovey, dovey mood so—I hope you enjoy it.

 

My Prize

 

From all of the darkness, you were my light.

From all of the demons, I won the fight.

 

A woman so young, you stole my heart.

But me a wind demon, too sad to part.

 

Back to Makai, I was sent to remain

With thoughts of you, I won't be the same.

 

So think of me, as I hope you do.

For if anything, my wind will remind you.

 

Remind you it will, when it caresses your hair.

The long strand tresses, so lovely and fair.

 

The wind when it whispers, within your ear,

Will let you know I am close and near.

 

The hands of my breeze, when it touches your face,

Features so radiant, one I could never replace.

 

Those emerald eyes, shine like the sun I do miss.

The touch of your lips, I once wished to kiss.

 

So now here I stand, in a fight for my life.

To be with you, no matter the strife.

 

He won't understand, the detective will not.

For all I have done, and all I have fought.

 

I am sorry, Yuske, but here as I rise,

No matter what, I will win my prize.
