Waking Up

"Gomen I forgot to warn you"

Kurama let go of Yusuke's hand their energy separated both felt the strong aura piercing into their skin Yusuke started to get a bloody nose.

"Kurama give me your hand His aura is too strong"

"Yusuke leave thank you leave I just needed to get in"

"Kurama"

Yusuke unwillingly left to front of the house he pinched his nose to try to get the bleeding to stop.

Kurama swiftly climb the tree and reached Hiei.

Hiei lifted his hand to punch himself again he was surprised that the pain the felt didn't come.

"Am I dead" he asked no one.

"Hiei" Kurama spoke softly he caress Hiei's cheek Hiei winced slightly.

"wake up I'm here and I won't let you leave again."

Hiei heard it he heard the soft voice and the scent of roses over came the scent of blood.

He touch his cheek to look for the soft fingers that caress him.

Kurama locked His hand with Hiei's and entwined his fingers his hand soon was covered with the warm life source of Hiei's he then felt his aura calm down.

Suddenly Yusuke called from below.

"Hey need help?"

"Hai" Kurama reply

Yusuke in one jump made it up to where Hiei was.

Kurama still locked with Hiei's hand told Yusuke

"I'll hold him still you pulled the sword out"

Kurama let go of Hiei hand Hiei quickly panicked and his aura started to rise Kurama quickly sat himself behind Hiei and embraced him and hold his leg still.

"ready?" asked Yusuke

"hold on"

Kurama wave his hair around and a seed fell out as it fell towards the earth he brought his foot up and kick it and the seed flew up and landed in his hands.

"Soccer" he said as he saw Yusuke who looked at him in awe.

"do you have to do everything so gracefully?"

"shut up and Go"

Yusuke pulled with all his might the sword he felt loosen up as it traveled out of the tree and trough Hiei's leg and out.

The sword drip of blood he threw the sword the down. Kurama quickly bloomed the seed and apply the liquid that the seed gave of an apply it on the open wound stopping the bleeding.

"Open the window" order Kurama

Yusuke jumped to the window sill and slide the window open.

He stepped inside as Kurama slowly lifted Hiei up and Jump in.

Blood drip everywhere.

"what now" asked Yusuke

"that's enough help thank you I'll tend to his wounds you can go home"

"hell no I'm not leaving I'll wait down stairs you need anything just call me"

"oh Yusuke thank you very much"

Yusuke left the room and slowly closed the doors "damn what a trouble koorime" he mumble

Kurama entered the bathroom and quickly prepare a bath for Hiei he tested the water not too hot and not too cold. He hurried back to find the koorime fully conscious.

Kurama just smile.

"Sorry I took too long"

"Hiei"

Hiei wouldn't look at him and wouldn't answer.

Kurama took off his bloody clothes.

Hiei blushed when Kurama took off his pants and he was completely nude in front of the fox.

"Hiei what happen why did you do this to your self."

Kurama lifted him up Hiei instinctively wrapped his arms around the fox and rested his head on the crook of his neck.

"The first night the dream wasn't so bad I was just falling, the second night I had images of you leaving and that all you said was a lie that you don't care for me."

Kurama gently lowered him into the water Kurama soaked a small handkerchief and filled it with soap. Strawberry scent filled the room he slowly scrub Hiei's legs and arms in circular motion lifting the dirt and blood of his skin.

"Then the third night I stay on the tree ready to leave but I just couldn't so I stayed there and then I fell asleep and I couldn't wake up all I could see was darkness and I couldn't see I tried to move I tried talking screaming nothing I guess that's when the Jagan took over and that's when I guess I hurt Myself I want to know why this why does all of this happen."

"You told me yourself you grew up not knowing what love is and you don't know how to express your feeling well the only ones you are anger and all those other one that you grown up with and how you been treated."

Kurama helped Hiei stand both looked at the water but its shouldn't be called water it was now the color of faded red and dirt floated around. Kurama helped Hiei out and he let the water go soon he wash the excess dirt and fill it up again.

Hiei stood there as he covered himself with both hands and tremble slightly.

"hold on" Kurama reply when he heard the koorime shiver.

Hiei just stood there and cover himself he was blushing slightly still he never had anyone care for him this much.

Once the tub was filed Kurama helped Hiei back in he washed the excess soap off his body and shampoo his hair he tilted Hiei's head backwards so no soap got into his eyes he massaged gently the massaged the scalp soon he rise the soap out of the koorime head. Once finished he wrapped Hiei in a towel and carried him to the bed.

"I'll be back" Kurama left the room and walked downstairs he looked at the clock close to the t.v. nine thirty he looked around for Yusuke he found him was asleep on the couch.

He quietly made his way back upstairs.

Hiei was sitting Indian style on the bed the towel barely covering his lower waist.

Kurama didn't stare at Hiei he quickly went to his drawers he pulled out a white pair off boxers and a white tank top.

He went to the bathroom and retrieved some bandages he retrieve some seed from his hair.

he approach Hiei and said

"Lay down on you back In have to bandaged your wounds"

Hiei did what he was told but cover himself with the towel still shy.

Kurama covered Hiei's leg wound with some of the seed he had put on earlier then he cover it with the bandaged.

He did this to all of his wound he had one on his hands his nails were broken and crack his jaw was crack his chest was cut too.

"How in the three world did you managed to do all of this" asked Kurama as he finished bandaging the fire demon.

"I don't exactly know" Hiei asnwer

Kurama helped Hiei into the boxer and the tank top.

He soon discarded His clothes and lay down beside the fire demon.

He hug him and whispered in his ear,

"Hiei you know I'm here for you and I will always help you when your ready I'll be there waiting"

"can i say it" he asked

Hiei nodded

"ashiteru"

"Hai ashiteru" responded the Koorime.
