Keiko: Her fanfiction takes place a few months after the Dark Tournament.

Yusuke: Oh and we haven't been getting any missions only small ones… AND I AM SOOOOO BORD!!!!*Everyone's tries to ignore his complaining*

Genkai: Maybe Koenma has finally got tired of your complaining?Keiko: Maybe your right.

Yusuke: Hey that is not funny *Then he started complaining again*

Shizuru: Well I think it's funny.

YG: So as we try to ignore Yusuke's complaining of boredom lets read on.

Of Fire and Ice

Chapter One: A typical day . . .Until

" Man I am bored!" Yusuke complains plopping on the couch in Kurama's living room.

" We get the point Yusuke," Keiko said.

" He's been complaining for hours," Shizuru said, "He is worse then my brother." She looked over as Kuwabara how was a sleep snoring on the floor.

" Man Kuwabara can go to sleep any were Shizuru," Kurama said looking at Kuwabara. Who had Rollin over and was now what looked like a very uncomfortable position.

" I know," Shizuru replied.

" I am sooooo Bored!!!" Yusuke complained even louder.

" Shut up!" Hiei muttered.

" Hey guys I have been wondering," Yusuke said suddenly sitting up.

"What?" Kurama asked hoping it was not a stupid comment.

"Why haven't we been on any missions for a will?" Yusuke asked.

"Maybe crime is slow this month," Keiko suggested.

"Or may be Koenma has been giving then to another Spirit Detective?" Kuwabara said out of no were.

"Um Kuwabara your forgetting one thing," Yusuke said.

"What?" Kuwabara replied.

"I am the only Spirit Detective in Japan," Yusuke answered.

"WRONGE!" Someone yelled cheerfully.

Yusuke turn around and walked over to the window. He opened the window to find a blue hair girl siting on an ore.

"What do you mean Botan," Yusuke asked.

"Well there are other Detectives in Japan it is just that Koenma doesn't think he needs to tell you," Botan said cheerfully, "Also you're not the only one how died on accident."

"Okay that's cool," Yusuke said, "So what do you want?"

"Koenma wants to see all of you," Botan answered.

~ * ~ * ~ * ~ Time and Location change

Yusuke and the others walked into big room. There was a big desk and a big chair. On the opposite side of the room parallel to the desk was a big screen TV on the wall. Suddenly the chair tired around to face Yusuke and the others. There siting in the chair was a toddler. It was Koenma the Demi -God ruler over Spirit World.

" Hey Koenma is there a new mission or something because I am ready to fight," Yusuke said.

" You're always really to fight," Botan said cheerfully.

" Sorry Yusuke not this time," Koenma answered.

" Then why did we come here?" Yusuke complained.

" Well I want to introduce you to someone," Koenma said.

Suddenly the door opened and a girl stood in the doorway. She had sapphire blue hair with ice blue highlights. She was a little bit shorter then Yusuke. She also had ice blue eyes. She wore faded blue jeans and a short sleeve navy blue shirt.

" This is Amaru," Koenma announced.

' She is hot,' Kuwabara thought.

" I heard that," Amaru said.

" But I didn't say…" Kuwabara said but was interrupted by Hiei.

" She is probably telepathic you ba ka," Hiei said.

' Yes I am' Amaru thought.

" That is awesome," Yusuke said.

"Yes but not all the time," Amaru replied.

" Hey is that a spirit beast?" Yusuke pointing to something that was raped around her neck and shoulders.

" Yes it is her name is sapphire and she is a blue sea dragon," Amaru said.

" I thought dragons are supposed to be bigger then that?" Kuwabara asked, " Not little lizards."

Suddenly sapphire started growling and then flouted off Amaru's shoulders. Then transformed to her regular form. Luckily Koenma's office was one of the biggest rooms because Sapphire got really big. (A regular sized dragon)

"NO SAPPHIRE!" Amaru yelled.

"Don't worry about it he will be fine," Yusuke said.

"Well I don't know," Amaru said, "Last time she almost killed someone for calling her a tiny lizard."

"I AM SORRY! I AM SORRY!" Kuwabara yelled as he was running away from Sapphire, "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!"

"DON'T CALL ME A TINY LIZERD!" Sapphire roared.

"So you are a Spirit Detective," Yusuke said.

"What gave you the first clue," Amaru replied.

"HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" Kuwabara yelled running around.

"Okay I am getting tired of hearing him cry," Amaru said.

Suddenly the room got freezing cool and everyone's attention turned to Amaru except Kuwabara and Sapphire how was still chasing him. Yusuke also stepped back away from Amaru giving her some space. Amaru turned around and she closed her eyes. Then her Spirit energy started to grow rapidly. Suddenly she opened her eyes. They were glowing ice blue and her hair had turned completely ice blue too. She put her hands straight out then though them up and suddenly a wall of ice formed between Kuwabara and Sapphire. Then Sapphire rammed into the wall of ice. Amaru's Spirit energy returned to normal and her hair and eyes did too. Amaru then walked over to Sapphire and knelt down to her and whispered in her ear. Then Sapphire went to her previous form.

"So as you saw she has the power to use ice," Koenma said stating the obvious.

"That is not all," Amaru said.

"What else can you do?" Yusuke asked.

"Here let me show you," Amaru said.

Then she created targets out of ice. She then gave one of the targets to Sapphire how held it up in the air. She then pointed her right index finger out. Then pointed her thumb up and her pinky finger down. A bow then appeared. She then pulled back the string back and an arrow appeared and what looked like flames were coming off of it. Then she yelled "Fire Arrow," and let go. It hit the target right in the center and it melted to water. Sapphire got another target and held it up. Amaru then pulled back the string again and another arrow appeared but this one had sparks coming off it. She then yelled " Thunder Arrow," and let go. It hit the target in the center again and it shattered and then melted on the ground. The boy's excepted Kurama and Hiei had their mouths wide open in amazement. They looked at her and the bow had disappeared.

"I also can do a ice, light, dark arrow," Amaru said, "It is like your Spirit Gun but obviously different."

"Well I bet you can't use a Spirit Gun," Kuwabara said.

"Yes I can do you want to see," Amaru said as she started to get ready to shoot the Spirit Gun, "You can be the target if you want."

"NO! NO! That is okay," Kuwabara said nervously.

Then everyone started laughing and Yusuke fell over laughing.

"All right then," Amaru said, "Well Koenma if that's all. My mom wants me to get back as some as I can before I leave to train."

"Your mother knows you are a Spirit Detective," Yusuke asked.

"Yes… why?" Amaru asked, " Doesn't yours know?"

"No!" Yusuke replied.

"Dose you parents know you are a demon too?" Hiei said out of no ware.

Everyone looked at Hiei except Kurama, Koenma, and Botan.

"Well I only have a mother but yes my mom dose… Why?" Amaru Said confused about why he asked her that question.

"No reason," Hiei responded.

"How did you figure out she was a demon because I didn't realize it at all," Kuwabara asked.

"Well what normal person can create and control ice stupid," Hiei pointed out and rolling his eyes.

"Well no one I know," Kuwabara said, "Well there was Touya."

"But he was a demon stupid," Yusuke said.

"Oh Ya," Kuwabara said.

"Ba ka," Hiei said quietly.

"You know Touya," Amaru said with a surprised look on her face.

"Ya Kurama fought against him in the Dark Tournament and I fought against Jin too. Why?" Yusuke said.

"Shoot I have to go bye," Amaru said.

Then she ran out of the room with Sapphire behind her. When she got out side Sapphire transformed to her full dragon form and Amaru jumped on.

"Okay Sapphire lets go," Amaru yelled.

"You don't have to yell," Sapphire said.

"Sorry," Amaru apologized.

Then Sapphire took off and headed to their destination.

~ * ~ * ~ Location & Time Change

~ Back in Koenma's Office right after Amaru ran out of the room.

"Okay nice to meet you bye," Yusuke said.

"How are you talking too," Kuwabara asked very confused.

"No one I guess," Yusukse replied, "So what was that all about."

"I don't know," Kurama said and had a confused look that Yusuke also had.

"So where is she from?" Yusuke asked turning to Koenma.

"Well she was born in America but when she was 5 years old her and her mother moved to Japan," Koenma said, "But she moved again."

"So were dose she live now?" Kurama asked.

"This might be a surprise but she lives right next to you Yusuke," Answered Botan.

"She must be are new neighbors because someone moved in yesterday," Yusuke said.

"What then why didn't you say that sooner," Kuwabara said.

"Well I didn't see her while her and her mother were moving in," Yusuke said.

"That's because Amaru wasn't there when they were moving in," Koenma said.

"What?" everyone except Botan and Hiei said.

"Well she was on a little mission," Koenma said.

"So she is the one you have been giving the missions to," Yusuke said.

"Yes she is," Koenma said.

"Then how is her team members?" Kuwabara asked.

"Well….," Koenma said.
