[ P - Pre-Teen ]

You had known Yuske and his gang for about 2 months now; and resided at Genkais temple just as long. You were an abused wretch, living in a hell hole of a house with an alcholic step father and criminally insane mother.
Then one day the perky Botan busted into your house riding an oar. She told you you were a pheonix, one of the last still alive. She whisked you away to Genkais temple where you fell in love.
With Hei.
He was assigned the task to keep you safe and to train you; both physically and mentally. Hei was a little unsure of you at first, but took a liking to you eventually. However, you had hoped it would be more than that.

PRESENT
You took a shower, to wash of all the sweat from your training. After you got out and dressed in a shirt and jeans, Keiko called you down to dinner.
You had to hand it to Kurama and Yukina, they really were superb cooks. A delicous meal of (meat), (vegetable), (drink), and (desert), littered the table.
"How did training go, (name)?" Genkai asked across from you. Hearing this, Hei looked at you, a mixture of appreciation, kindness, and an unkown emotion in his intense, crimson eyes.
"I-I think it went pretty well." You stuttered, a blush creeping across your face. Genkai gave you a small smile.
"Mm, I hope so..." then more sternly she said, "You'd better be trained with washing filthy dishes, because you're helping!" You sighed.
Unfortanutly, there were MOUNTAINS of food caked dishes and silver ware to clean, and you and Genkai STILL weren't done by 10:00. You were starting to doze off.......
"Here, I'll finish them," Hei said out of nowhere. Happy to be able to rest, you surrendered the pile to him.
"Thanks, Hei," you said walking away, "You rock."
"Hn," he responded gruffly.
