[the kid's POV]

There. They fought again. Even for the last time. Even if Hiei-san is leaving. Why do they have to fight so much? She loved them both… Love? Am I capable of knowing these things? I don't understand why we have to go to Ningenkai. Were fine here right? Damn. Damn him. I don't understand this nonsense. All she did was shelter them. Sol-san what did you do to Hiei-san to make him so… distant? I hope I find the answers before he lose his sanity.

"I'm ready Hiei-san"

The portal opened revealing a massive vortex, the black color swirling inward like a drain. Two youkai stood before it, not one looking back.

"Are you ready?" a deep cold voice was sounded.

"Hai. I'm ready"

"Remember not to utter a word of what or who we are. I will take care of the talking once we arrive in the more public areas. Remember that it is my business that we are taking care of here. Remind yourself of what I said. And no killing."

"I'll remember."

"Good"

The conversation ended, and the two jumped in.

[the kid's POV]

I never knew portals are so mind-bending. The area or should I call it dimension? Was a vast hole of nothingness. Our speed was our only sanity in this place. No wonder ningens who accidentally crossed this place should be brain-washed. They can lose their minds just looking in this place. But how come Hiei-san seems so… unaffected? Ah yes… some things I saw in his mind… the silver being, the one with the sword and the toushin… all of them has crossed this plain before… maybe that's why…
