Chapter Seven: The Honor of Kuwabara

The fighter in front of Kuwabara swiftly removed his cloak, as had the other two fighters in Team Gijutsu's arsenal.
"Heh," the fighter laughed.
He was broad and heavily muscled. He had strange cuffs around his wrists and two metal cylinders clipped onto his belt. He wore a ragged white tank top and green pants like Fuku. He had a simple gray bandanna on his head, covering his dark green hair.
"I thought they'd send somebody strong. But `chu ain't worth my time, kid. Go back home `fore I send you back wit' a tag on yer toe. (I hope you don't mind the way I made him talk, TnM--Y.M.)"
"Err, I'll show you!" said Kuwabara as he hopped to his feet.
"Well, folks, we have Gallet from Team Gijutsu and Kuwabara from Team Urameshi!" yelled Tero.
"Fighters ready, GO!" yelled Koto.
Gallet came out swinging, literally. He bashed Kuwabara in the face with a powerful punch.
Kuwabara stumbled back, holding his face from the hit.
"Ow! That really hurt!" yelled Kuwabara.
"Well, uhh, it was, um, supposed ta' hurt, kid. I'm trying to fight chu', not play house," said Gallet, confused by Kuwabara's statement.
"Err, I'm going to beat you up good for that!" said Kuwabara as he caused his Spirit Sword to appear.
"So, you got a sword, eh? Well, check dis out!" yelled Gallet as he grabbed the two cylinders.
He spun the objects in his fingers as he outstretched his arms. Once his arms were fully outstretched, he pressed the buttons on the objects, causing beams on light to eject from the ends. The beams stretched out about 4ft before ending.
"So, let's play!" yelled Gallet as he rushed with his Light Swords.
Kuwabara summoned another Spirit Sword before running at Gallet. The two fighters collided, both holding their swords in a X in front of their bodies.
"Heh, you're better than I thought, kid," said the amused Gallet.
"The names Kuwabara, and you ain't bad yourself, Gallet," said the equally amused Kuwabara.
Both fighters slashed out with their swords at the same time. The two were pushed back.
Gallet lunged forward with one blade. Kuwabara blocked and jabbed down with his other sword. Gallet, too, blocked the strike with his other sword.
In a flash, the two were freed, and all four swords were cast aside.
Kuwabara's Spirit Swords disappeared, and Gallet's light blades retracted.
Gallet smirked and pulled a previously concealed disk from his back and threw it at Kuwabara. Blades ejected from the edge of the disk as Gallet threw it. *Razor Disk*.
At the last moment, Kuwabara blocked the disk with another Spirit Sword, and broke the disk with a downward strike.
"That's a pretty nasty weapon you got there, Gallet."
"Yeah, well, not nasty enough it appears. You broke it like it was nothing. I guess I'll have to try harder." Gallet smirked again.
Gallet stuck his arms straight out in front of him. The cuffs on his arms started to spin wildly.
"Feel the full force of the Rocket Cuffs!" roared Gallet.
The two cuffs shot off of Gallet's arms at high speed. *Rocket Cuffs* They rocketed towards Kuwabara.
Kuwabara stared at the Rocket Cuffs like a deer in headlights.
Meanwhile, in Kuwabara's subconscious . . .
"Hey! Get out of the way!" yells one part of Kuwabara.
"What's the use? Hiei's right. I'm just a stupid oaf," says the other part of Kuwabara.
"Hn. Stupid oaf. Go get yourself killed," says Hiei (don't know how he got in there.)
But then, a different voice spoke up, amongst the chaos of Brave Kuwabara fighting Hiei and Pessimistic Kuwabara sitting in the corner. It was, drum roll please, Yukina.
"Kazuma, please, don't die!"
Brave Kuwabara looked up, still in mid punch (he was winning. Hey, it's his subconscious.) Pessimistic Kuwabara also looked up at the Ice Apparition. A single tear rolled down her cheek and turned into a jewel.
"Yukina . . ." said the two Kuwabara's at once. Suddenly, they merged into one Kuwabara and Hiei fell through a strange hole that had suddenly appeared.
"I will not just let myself be destroyed!" said the suddenly emboldened Kuwabara. He clutched a blushing Yukina to his chest. "I won't loose, my love."
"Oh, Kuwabara, kiss me, my love!" said Yukina (again, Kuwabara's subconscious here.)
Back in the real world, the rocket cuffs had almost hit Kuwabara.
Just as the cuffs touched the ground, they exploded. Rock and earth flew threw the air. Gallet smirked at the destruction.
"Looks like I defeated him," said the confident warrior.
"Take another look, Gallet!" yelled Kuwabara as he flew threw the air, his Spirit Sword ready. He stuck the energy weapon in the ground as it expanded, using it as a pole with which to fling himself at Gallet.
As Kuwabara connected with the large fighter, Gallet was slammed to the ground.
`No! It can't end like this! I still have to bring them back! My friends . . ."
Kuwabara stood over Gallet and put the tip of his Spirit Sword to Gallet's throat.
"Give me one reason to let you live, Gallet," growled Kuwabara.
"Because, I have to win. I need to wish back my friends," said Gallet, his voice sincere.
"Please. Ura Urishima tried to use that trick on Kurama before. What, is your Grandma sick too?"
"No, I'm serious. I beg you, spare me. The members of the gang I'm a member of, we were all close friends. But a different gang killed them all. Please, spare me. I need to wish them back." Gallet spoke the utter truth, and Kuwabara knew it.
"Fine. I won't kill you. But I won't let you win either."
Kuwabara picked Gallet up off the ground and hurled him out of the ring.
"I know what it's like, to have such close friends. And I can only imagine the pain that you must feel to have your friends killed. I will wish them back for you, if my team wins," said Kuwabara. "I give you my word, and I never break a promise."
Gallet smiled at Kuwabara. "I believe you, kid. You better not be lying, or I'll really hurt you."
Kuwabara smiled at the warrior. "Don't worry, I'll wish `em back for you."
"That is all very touching, but our master has informed me that weaklings like you are to be disposed of," said one of the fighters who hadn't battled yet.
Gallet quickly turned around his head only to see the object be shot into his chest.
The warrior retracted the metal bar into its arm. It turned its hooded head towards Kuwabara.
"I suggest you exit the ring, unless you want to join Gallet and his gang in the after-life." The dark figure laughed evilly in his crackling voice.
"You . . .you monster!" roared Kuwabara. He lunged forward only to have Hiei block his path.
"You fool, don't try it. I know this fighter, and you don't stand a chance. Leave him to me," said Hiei. He spoke with true concern for Kuwabara, and hatred of the shrouded figure.
"If it isn't my old friend Hiei. Let's see who's stronger, after such a long time." The figure cackled again.
"Shut up and fight, Kama," growled Hiei. The fire apparition was truly enraged. He would show no mercy.

Hey, it's Yusuke again. I know, it's not my turn, but oh well. Next time, it's the mysterious Kama against the vengeful and generally pissed off Hiei. Be ready for an awesome battle next time on Yu Yu Hakusho!
